It had been four days since the students returned to Nexus Academy. Those in critical condition were hospitalized in the infirmary, while the others awake but still injured or affected had been reporting back daily for their prescribed doses of Radioxyl and treatments
Willow blinked rapidly as the needle sank into her skin. She glanced at the nurse, who was fully focused as she pushed the contents of the syringe in.
With a practiced smile, the nurse withdrew the needle. Willow immediately tugged her sleeve down.
"Well, that's it for your dosage. You've been getting plenty of rest, I hope?" the nurse asked kindly.
"Yes. It really forces the rest," Willow replied with a faint smile, letting out a deep sigh of relief that her injection was done.
Radioxyl had been knocking her out like the dead. Thankfully, classes for the first years had been suspended until things settled down.
