"No! We don't need a paper map. It's completely useless. We have a holographic map. What we need is a geographical scanner," Ivy snapped, snatching the paper map from Gage, crumpling it, and tossing it into the trash.
Logan looked furious. "Why on earth would we need a geographical scanner? We need more weapons, not..."
"I, uh…" Payton raised his hand nervously. "I think the geographical scanner could be useful."
Logan shot him a glare. "Are you kidding me? You're agreeing with her? Okay, fine, let's say the map is useless but she's not even talking about weapons!"
"You do realize we're going to the Middle Zone, right? Not a danger zone," Ivy retorted. "Nexus would never send first-years into a danger zone on their first mission."
"Oh! You know everything Nexus can and can't do." Logan grumbled, crossing his arms tightly over his chest, and just like that, he and Ivy were shouting over each other again.
