Chapter 24:
As hephaestus and hestia make their way to the church. Orion and his sons on floor 18 the under resort as it is called. Set up camp outside the little wooden town. In a clearing tents bearing the flag of the hestia familia littered it. Each flag shows a dragon surrounding a flame. Samson and and krek, the two of them put on guard duty, are doing a patrol. The rest of the Dragon marines were sharpening their blades or checking their shields. "Grif your shield is dented?" wrecker said questionably to his brother's dented shield. "It got dented from blocking an attack from that rex golioth thing. Goes to show we may be strong but these creatures are powerful in their own right. I see why we were sent here to clear out the dungeon." They in that moment were both right and wrong. The dungeons' deeper and more terrifying floors held beasts that would make a level 10 look like an ant. But in truth they had the possibility to clear it out entirely if they headed to the deeper floors. That is if they brought the full military might of the dragon marines.
After a 10 hour rest the marines started packing up and heading out. Orion then split the group into two. "My sons, we will be splitting up here. I will return to the surface with 4 of you, the rest continue down till you think you need to back up. Remember my sons, the dungeon consumes our dead. So any deaths will not be tolerated for any reason." After his small speech. Orion started moving with his other sons back to the surface. "Let's run back. It will be faster than just walking." The two groups split up and the captain started leading his men down deeper while Orion and the others booked it up the floors.
Causing dust to be kicked up and making it seem a horde of monsters is coming with how loud and how much the ground shook with their running. Holding the bag of monster crystals and carrying lili like a sack of rice. Both giving a comfortable and front row seat to the endless slaughter of monsters that chose to walk in front of them. After one hour of constant running a rumbling could be heard from the entrance of the dungeon. After a bit the 5 hulking giants burst from there and start running to the due to them being known already for their speed and size. The hestia familia wasn't stopped or questioned. Since everyone knows who it was that was coming.
After making it to the guild they cash in their stones and 4 of the marines start heading out to the slums. Picking up orphans and taking them with them. Carrying a Huge bag of gold. Orion and Lili head back to the church. Orion wanted to give some news and some information.
Walking around Orion spots some children running about playing. Seeing a nearby stand filled with bread and sweet treats. He buys the whole stand and tells the stand owner to give the food out to all the kids. Scoring some public perception of Orion to a gentle giant. After that little stop Orion heads into the church. Hestia inside and cooking some food. "Lady Hestia, we have returned." Orion makes his way to the kitchen. "Orion your back so soon? Here come take a seat. I just finished making beef stew." Orion and Lili took their seats, the chair creaking under Orion's massive weight. As soon as Orion fully sat down. The chair collapsed and was crushed. Under Orion's weight. Both hestia and lili look at Orion for a few seconds before fully bursting out laughing. "Pffff hahahah!" Both lili and hestia were holding in their laughter. Or at least trying to fail of course. "Who would have thought the mighty Orion would fall so easily." Lili said while trying to hold her stomach from laughing so much. "I forgot I weigh more than the furniture could handle." After calming down, Hestia grabbed herself a bowl of beef stew. After all, they're full of food. Orion gave Hestia the news. "Lady Hestia, it is time to build the home of our familia. I also wish to tell you something I plan on building within our territory." Hestia looking at Orion. Sitting on the floor the broken wooden chair was still around him.
"Go ahead Orion, what do you want to build?" Hestia wants Orion to continue. "I wish to build an orphanage and have our familia be its protectors and owners. I noticed many orphans and children who have parents who went into the dungeon and died. I want to feed those starving children and give them shelter." Hestia was happy that her Orion was so kind and thoughtful.
"Of course you can build an orphanage. Orion, why do you think you need my permission to build it?" She asked, confused. "Because I didn't want to do something without your permission." After storing the gold inside the church, the four marines came back with a large group of children. "My sons, I see you have gathered quite the little army." The 4 giant marines chuckle and look at the children they brought along with them. Wanting to protect and help shelter the kids. "Father, may we help train them. I know they can be of help in the future. Even possibly future dragons!" An enthusiastic marine asks Orion. "Sure why not. Perfect timing since we will be building an orphanage then a home for our familia. The four of you protect and guard the church. Get those kids beds and a place to sleep. Have them take my tent if you need the space. I will be back with more of your brothers and a surprise." Turning to Lili and Hestia. "Lady hestia and Lili i will be gone for two days. I hope that won't be a problem." Hestia looks at Orion. "It's fine Orion but can I ask what you're going to do?" Orion taking off his helmet grins at hestia. "I am going to level up the fastest way I know."
After a while Orion can be seen outside orario. "Now it's time to see how well I can fly." talking to himself Orion bends down and with a sonic boom. He blasted off into the air, blasting farther and farther into the air. He breaches the atmosphere of the planet. After blasting into space he starts heading towards the sun.
