As Orion screamed to the massive horde of monster Rex's and juggernauts. He charged full speed to them. They surprisingly work together and tried to take down Orion. Even as they were mutated versions. Orion used his blade and he cut through them as if they were paper. Switching to Orions POV:
'This is getting to easy I need to start working on my technique. Since I won't need this sword might as well put it back.' Thinking that he put away his sword. It vanished into a fire. Then he starting punching trying to mimick Omni man's movements. After he realized his body is closer to conquest he switched to trying to mimic his fighting style.
After he switched he noticed a difference. He was starting to get better. Surprisingly fast he was getting sharper quicker. His fighting style was then morphing into his own. He was cutting through the horde faster then the dungeon could make them. After his 60th kill he felt the whole floor shake. After looking at his hud it showed multiple large dots. Looking at where they are coming from he saw something. 'HOLY HELL THEY ARE HUGE! Man wonder how many punches they would take.' Punching the monsters away Orion then strikes at the first one of the new horde of super mutated monsters. After he landed his first punch he grew happy. Smiling under his helmet like a devil he continued punching like a maniac. Fighting like a brawler his style relied on grappling and holds. His punches weren't really as aimed or good as a boxer but he was close.
He continued his fighting till he felt a bigger rumble. It was the dungeon responding in rage at him slaughtering and not taking any damage. The dungeon continued to sending a majority of it resources to this floor. Trying to summon even stronger monsters. 'Dungeon is getting cranky. This is going to be a really bad if it's affecting the other floors.'
As he thought this he felt another rumble. More monster were coming. Then there is another bunch of Rex's and juggernaut's. The ones that take ten punches to kill. 'Now this is were I can fight for real.' While thinking of ways to fight this new horde. He couldn't help but laugh excitedly. "Hhahhahahahhahah." After he was done laughing. Reality hit him, he completed his dream. Fighting a countless horde and slaughtering them all like a bunch of ants. "COME AND FACE ME ALL OF YOU! Complete my dream of endless slaughter! Feeling your flesh get crushed in my hands is relieving." As he finished his sentence a new music played. It was favorite song for mob shooter games. The songs name was "FEEDING FRENZY".
As the song played Orions current smile grew wider. "Ohhh ho your all dead." Orion said this while running through them and punching like mad berserker. After completely killing all monsters. Not waiting for the dungeon to collect the drops he pick them up. He got the gems and stones. Barbarian horns and other items. As soon as his bag was full another rumble was felt. But this rumble was different then he saw it. Instead of a massive horde the dungeon spawned a beast. A giant super sized juggernaut no other monster. "Ah fuck, if you have super speed this will be a long fight." As he said this the blitz infront of him trying to hit him. 'Well this is going to be a problem. Better block it just in case.' As the attack landed he was knocked back. 'Holy shit that was powerful. I am starting to love this armor. It cleans me helps my hearing. Gives me songs to play displays my location even this deep under ground. The only thing missing from this thing is a hot ai and am good.
I think I should stop thinking about this and focus on my fight.' Just before the juggernaut could speed blitz Orion. He speed blitz it. Orion now using his full speed blitz towards the juggernaut as if he was a speedster. "Hey juggernaut let's play a game. The game is called head, shoulders, knees and toes." Orion aimed for the head of the juggernaut. The juggernaut tried to dodge but still got hit. Having its head hit it began to stagger. Trying to escape the range of Orion it began to keep its distance. "Not letting you run prick, we're not done yet. Next is shoulders." Running towards the shoulders of the beast fist raised. He sent a powerful punch knocking it's arms off. Black smoke came out of the missing arms. The juggernaut mostly silent during the fight. Began to screech a horrible cry. "Time for knees and toes."
Saying that Orion aimed kicks to the juggernauts knees. When it was immobile he stomped on its feet. Making sure it would take longer to move. "Oh silly me I almost forgot eyes, ears and nose." Saying that he gripped the head of the juggernaut. Then placed his thumbs over its eyes. As he did this the juggernaut screamed and screeched in pain and panic. It struggled to get up every time it's movement stopped. Its legs still injured not yet healed. When it tried to use its stubs to move away. Orions grip destroyed its hope of escaping. With his iron grip he tore into its eyes. Blinded the juggernaut then went to bite. Trying desperately to get a attack in. Only to be stopped by the armor that seemed to never take damage.
Once he let go of its head it dropped to the floor. Still screeching blood murder as it thrashed around. It's head continued to squirm till Orion placed his foot on it. "You don't look like you have ears. So let's just skip to nose." Finishing that, he wanted to see how much pressure it would take to destroy a juggernaut's skull. Slowly adding pressure to the head. He added more and more pressure till. (Snap) The juggernauts thrashing stopped and it's body vanished. The dungeon rumbled one last time then stopped. Orion not knowing it was its final rumble. Went to pick up the items that were dropped.
It took him a while to figure out that the dungeon wasn't sending more monsters. The dungeon that continuesly makes monsters. Suddenly stop producing monsters on this floor. A floor that was known for constantly making monster. So much so that the highest familias try to avoid it. Yet the dungeon suddenly stopped.
"So your finally seeing how dangerous I am. Aren't you dear old dungeon. Well time to head out if your going to chicken out. I will probably have to head to deeper floors now." Looking at his bag he couldn't help but be angry. "Man a little more and I could have gotten a crap ton of good shit. Oh well can't blame a dungeon that has a brain." Saying this he packed up and started to get ready to leave. He went prowling around the floor looking for an exit. Then saw a spiral stairs leading up. As he went up he kept checking his bag for leaks or breaks in it. It was stuffed now. Making it almost as big as Lilis when she meet bell. Once he got to the 36 floor he found an empty spot to rest. As he rested in on the floor he looked into the bag. He began counting the stones and items he got from the. "18 barbarian horns, 17 garou pelts, 20 skull sheep pelts, 50 magic stones the size of my finger. Pretty decent hall if I do say so myself. I wonder if I can fall asleep in certain floors of the dungeon. I mean there is safe zones but wonder if I can sleep in the 5 and 6 floors. Oh wait why am I talking out loud?" He began to thinking in his head
'I must have spent a little to much time by my self. I need to get some company or else I will lose it. Ok time to take a drink and head back to the top. As he took off his helmet to drink he heard the movements of the monsters on the floor. 'Right forgot my hearing is this good. Better make this quick then.' He then gulped down water as fast as he can "ahhh, nothing beats water after a hard days work." He then closed his canteen and got up ready to go. He then moved to the forward to head back to the surface. A neat part of his helmet is it uses echo location to map out areas. It also uses it to detect where enemies are located. This way he can find his way through anything. The dungeon threw at him. He then went to an area that looked like every area that had the spiral staircase. He was right and went up the next level. He did this every time and slowly made his way up. Insta killing his way through anything that wasn't level 5.
Slowly but surely making his way to the top of the dungeon. He saw that he made his way to the 27th floor. It was after walking what was essentially 5 miles worth of distance. He wasn't getting tired far from it he was still better then ever. 'Holy hell this stamina is insane. Wonder if I can last this long in bed? I got to test that theory when I get back. Or better yet do some sun bathing to get power. Well I got a lot of shit to do when I get back. Better hurry this up or else it is going to take forever.' Thinking that he started running. If people were to try and see him running they would only see a black blur. Like the flash but no lightning. As he continued to travel across the floors one by one. He made it to floor 19 'Finally! Floor 19 phew that took to long. I think I got stuck on floor 23 for 5 hours because I couldn't find the. DAM STAIRS! Screw whoever made this dungeon you suck at floor design. When I escape pal this Minotaur is giving you the horns.
Better get going I want to rest. not risking resting where monster will bother me.' He then continued running looking for the exit to floor 18. Not long after finding it he runs booking it to get to the safe zone. As he made it up the staircase. Sounding like a transformer stomping about. He made his way to the top of the stairs. Taking a deep breath in and out he let out a sigh of relief. "Ahh finally time to rest and relax for a bit." As he looked up he noticed the crystals make it look like night. Thinking to himself Orion thought. 'I forgot does the crystal reflect the time on the outside or no. Welp doesn't matter going to rest either way.
He made his way to the forests that surrounded floor 18. To find a good spot and rest. As he got closer to a place he would rest he put his bag on the floor. He looked at his hands and himself. He needed a bath or at least to clean his armor. So he began searching his map for a place to wash up. He then found a small lake to wash off the blood. Not wasting time he jumped in.
Diving in cannonball style he caused a big splash. After he saw himself thoroughly rinsed he left the lake. He went back to where he put his bag. Surprised no one stole anything, having double checked and made sure. He then hugged the bag like a baby his stuffed animal and rested. He then woke up two hours later still night. Yawning he got up. "Haaah oh that was a good nap. Welp should get going." He went to a near by stream after he pick up his bag and slung it over his back.
He took of his helmet and gauntlets to wash his face. After splashing his face with water he wiped away the water thst could get into his eyes. He looked for a cloth he kept in cases he needed to wipe his helmet of blood. He looked in his bag for a bit before finding it. It was a white cloth that was like a towel. Wiping his face clean he put on his helmet. Staring at the crystal sky he thought 'still night? By the time I make it back it would probably be day.' Getting up and putting back on his guantlets and helmet. With a hiss his helmet comes into place. After walking around he finds the exit of floor 18. He decided to run all the way to floor 16 and walk the rest of the way to the surface. He wanted to see if there was any items he could take for potion affects. So he began gathering things he thought could help. He looked at one plant to another. Grabing each one that looked useful.
After grabbing a hand full of plants and weird looking stuff. Orion got up ready to run the rest of the way till he heard a group of adventurers running in his direction. 'Huh a group getting chased by a prade of monsters. Now why does that sound familiar? Oh wait don't tell me it's them.' As Orion waited for the group of adventurers to come to him. He saw the group it wasn't the group he wanted to see. It was just some random adventurers. 'Wish I could meet the Takemikazuchi familia. Still these guys are injured and, they're running so might as well help.
As Orion blitzed in crushing the monsters the adventurers kept running. Orion didn't care if they didn't thank him. 'More people alive the more idiots to kill if they did something stupid.' As Orion finished the last of the monsters he left. Heading back to the surface. After 5 hours of walking and running he finally made it out. 'Hot diggidy dog am free baby!' He was about to head to the guild. He stopped when he saw ais,reveria and the rest of the Loki familia heading to the dungeon. 'Must be a long trip if it is all of them plus the Hephaestus familia.' Ingnoring them he went to the guild. Bete saw him and and ask "who was the big guy?". None of them knew except reveria. "He was at mama Mia's 2 days ago, don't know much besides he being seen in deeper floors of the dungeon. Deeper areas he should be at. Also that all the floors he's been too have been cleared out of all monsters." Bete hearing this was curious. "You know his level?" Reveria thought and answered "nope, no one does. The guild said that they are keeping it hidden till they double check. They said it's unbelievable and has to be reviewed and tested." That quelled Betes curiosity and he ask no further questions.
Orion on the other hand was walking to the guild. As soon as he step in Misha saw him and yell for him to come over. "Orion over here!" Once Orion got to her counter he placed the bag to the ground. Slowly but surely he brought out item after item. Misha just started counting the items value and how much they sale for. Once Orion got the total number of how much he was going to get paid he left. He left with a skip in his step as he just made 4.5 million valas from his run. Since he didn't have the room for the money. They said they can hold the valas. Keeping a big book on how much each familia holds. Also how much they hold for the familia. As he made his way back home he was stopped by Syr bumping into him. 'Freya must be trying to keep track of me. Welp play along and make her think I don't know.'
Picking Syr up Orion spoke "careful there Syr you might get crushed. What are you doing anyway? I thought you were supposed to be at the hostess working." Syr dusting her self off replied. "I am off today and wanted to explore orario. What brings you around here. Did you finish a dungeon run?" Orion scratching his chin said "Yes I just got back. They said they were going to deliver the valas to my famila house. Or the amount I wanted them to deliver." Not wanting to talk to her long Orion said a quick goodbye and walked off. Syr said something but the helmet block it. Not thinking it important he continued forward. When he step into his home he was greeted by a white ball of joy call Hestia. "Welcome home Orion!" Orion catching her as she threw her self at him. "Hello Hestia, am back." After a small catch up and what Orion did in the dungeon he ask Hestia something. "Goddess do you wish to move somewhere else? This place is cramped and quite frankly in horrible condition. I have made enough to buy us a new home. Would you like to move?" Hestia smile knocked on his head. "Of course I would dumby. Let's go find our familia a new home." Orion chuckled "Hestia, we still need to do a few things before moving. One we need to find a place two we need to figure out the cost of living there."
He then went outside the church. Looking around as hestia followed him. "Goddess I also need to speak to Hephaestus. To craft something for me. I also need a place to buy potions from." Hoping Hestia would mention her friend Miach Orion mentioned the need for potions. They were standing outside there church Hestia thinking. " I know of a god who is a friend of mine. He makes potions and for Hephaestus, I could ask her to set up a meeting with you. Orion can I ask why you want to meet her?" Orion with a straight face told Hestia
"I want her to make a ring." Hestia hearing this blinked. Unable to understand what she heard Hestia asked "a ring?" Orion without missing a beat said "a ring." Her brain finally registered what he said. "What do you need a ring for? Did you fall in love? It better not be an Amazonian from the itshtar familia! So who is it are they from the Loki familia? Who is trying to take my Orion from me!" With a rapid fire of questions Orion calmed her down.
"Goddess relax. I am asking since I want to find out if I can place enchantments onto the ring. If I can I would like to have one for every familia member." Hestia hearing this calm down. But in Orions mind 'one down six to go. Need to have bell fall in love with freya to have a lesh around that woman. If I can't control the chaos she would unleash. I will need to send her back to tekkai fast. Bell just had to make so many girls fall in love with him. This is going to be difficult making these girls care or love someone else.
The most difficult will be those two elf's and ais. This will be hard but achieveable if I can do it right.' Ending his planing there. He turned to Hestia "I am going to go looking for that friend of yours Goddess Hestia. When I find his I will ask if he could help with the potion making. Can you head over to Hephaestus to set up the meeting?" Hestia jumped with joy and said " yup you can count on me. I will get the meeting set up so that way you can ask Hephaestus about those rings. Meet you back here when we're done. Bye Orion." Hestia ran off to Hephaestus skipping and arms swinging.
'She is cheerful as ever.' Orion started to walk towards the center of the city. Once he got there he began asking directions to Miach shop. Walking through the city thanks to the help of some people. He found the shop and entered it expecting to see Naaza. To my surprise it was Miach thankful my helmet hid it. "Welcome is there anything you would like?" Miach said in a friendly manner. Ducking down to get in completely I made my way to the counter. " I came here to meet a friend of my goddess. His name is Miach. Do you know by chance?" Miach with a smile asks "who is your goddess? I am friends with many gods so you will have to narrow it down."
"Hestia." I replied flatly. Miach smile grew a bit "ah Hestia well that's a surprise. I thought she would have needed to wait a couple days. Atleast to get one familia member. Lucky her getting her first in just 2 days of being here." Miach joked "getting to the point I came here to trade something's. I also came here to buy some potions." Micah hearing he was here to buy potions perked up. He went to grab some potions from the back. After a couple mins he grabbed some viles and place them infront of me. "This one is a normal potion and this is a high potion. The different ranking do different types of healing. This one can restore physical strength and stamina. While this one high potions increase healing speed. Which one will you be taking?"
"10 of both please." Miach then grabbed ten viles of both. After Miach added the total he gave me a random price. "That will be 10,000 valas." Orion knew he was giving him a massive discount. Decided to leave 40 thousand valas instead. "Wait that is to much." Miach seeing the huge amount wanted to refuse. "Keep it I have to much anyway." After he said that he grab his viles before he left he told Miach "I will be back to give you some potion ingredients. Since I will need help from a potion maker." Miach hearing this replied with a smile."I will be happy to help." With that Orion left.
After he left he went straight home to meet with Hestia. Walking home he bumped into a little girl with brown hair she was lilirouca arde. After I stood still fearing I would crush a bone. I bent to lift her up. I already know who she is so but I got to act here. "Be careful little one. It is not safe to wonder the streets alone. Where are your parents?" I kinda hope she gets pissed it would be fun to see her mad.
Lilis POV:
As I ran down a alley way. Dash down to the main road. I will get a better chance at getting away if I go into a crowd. I have to get away or else they will steal my money again. I ran with all my might to the open road. Then I turned to the right but hit something hard.
I don't know what I hit but it felt like metal. Then heard a intimidating voice. "Be careful little one. It is not safe to wonder these streets alone. Where are your parents?" 'It's the adventure from the dungeon' lili thought when she took in Orion's massive form. I need to get this guys help. "Can you help me mister. These bad men are trying to steal my money." Lili said in a innocent voice. To her surprise the stood infront of her. Putting himself between them and her. Just as he stood forward the three men turn the corner.
"Hey you!"
