(POV GENERAL)
With the chair finally returned to its original positioning Elias sat there conflicted with his choices. Questioning the psiblites and what if's like what if he told Nightwing would the boy wonder offer help. Who was he kidding of course he would've yet he had the smart idea of selling himself to an information broker and an infamous one at that. Realizing his mistake Elias just sighed and stood up gripping his briefcase tight as his crux of this world.
Feeling its warmth Elias walked out the garage and towards the location that was given by the Calculator Chang Yao's. It took five minutes until the motel was within sight the sign had a Chinese wishing cat with its paw going up and down from its position as its painted golden fur highlighted the motel's uniqueness. With a sigh and a chiming of the door Elias walked inside met by a small waiting room and an old woman of Chinese decent waiting at the clerks desk. "Room 226. Dinner there." With an authoritative voice miss Chang placed the room key on the table and left the room. Puzzled by her Elias took note of her clothes being pajama's signaling her tiredness.
Curious Elias turned in hopes of spotting a clock and thankfully noticed one with a cat like body, its paws were up, tail and eyes wagging, and its hands on the clock were mice pointing out the time. "One thirty no wonder she's tired." Seeing the time caused Elias to realize just how tired he really was and went to bed after finding his room seeing the food. A bowl of dumplings simple yet devious Elias licked his lips as he removed his mask and began to eat the very food that was presented savoring each bite.
Once done Elias began his nightly procedure of checking in on his 'pets' and with a new arrival all the more reason to. Elias for once in a while placed the case down unlatched its locks and placed his leg down feeling a hard surface. Feeling the familiarity of stairs Elias took another step walking down a descending stair case leading to the ground. Revealing a living area with a kitchen, couch, and bed, and most of all the door and staircase. The stairs obviously brought Elias out while the door led to the habitats with practiced ease Elias opened the door feeling the warm breeze of an autumn day greet him as he walked through.
Once through Elias was met with numerous platforms all in actuality different habitats. With a thought the habitats began to move organizing themselves bringing the most ideal one to Elias. Once the shifting stopped several voices echoed as they all jumped on Elias expecting hugs in turn only to get scolded. "What were y'all thinking!" Was all Elias could mutter as his new family embraced him. The only one not to follow in the group hug was Teddy being the newbie and all.
"But boss?" Tunomon the most forward defended or at least attempted to for his fellow creatures showcasing his loyalty. Hearing Tunomon's plea Elias remained silent removing his plague doctor mask and cut hat. Revealing his face specifically his scar causing the once loud and proud Tunomon to shy away becoming a silent mouse from his lions roar. "It's alright Tunomon I know you were defending yourself. I would've done the same in your shoes." Tunomon was unfamiliar to the term of 'Someones shoes' as he has no feet, but the motion was understood. Tunomon was a three foot tall with the blade embedded in his head providing over half his height. Making up the rest of his body was orange fur however the outline was shaped by a peach fur making a heart. Where the humps contained his brown eyes and his mouth with tow small fangs.
"Char!" Charmander noticing his buddies distress patted Tunomon on his furred back feeling the softness of it Charmander could only smile in delight. From his warmth Tunomon looked up "Thank you friend." Hearing the thanks Charmander excitedly cooed his name while Sappy the most talkative of the trio began "Are you okay? Anything broken? Anything lost?" Sounding like a nagging mother the Sylph seemingly made of water and sapphire as her eyes shown as them. Seeing the care and peculiar personalities of these three Elias could only Laugh?"
A charming yet defending laugh caught all their attentions including Teddy who was purring and pawing the gold he had collected as his bill and head rubbed against it. Feeing the cold steel of the bar Teddy was at first ignoring them until Elias laughed causing the Niffler to drop his prized gold bar into the dirt. Covered by grass and particles of dirt Teddy began to get angry as it puffed through its bill and began to charge towards Elias punching his right leg as his bottom paws stood on top of his boot.
Yet the Niffler's punches provided no pain in fact the laughter seemed to worsen and get more joyful. Elias no longer handling the laughter laid on the ground chuckling as Sappy, Tunomon, and Charmander watched in curious gazes. Until Charmander thought 'Can I join too?' Thinking this and acting on it were different yet as the thought was made Charmander acted upon it. "Char!" Charmander annoyed that he wasn't partaking jumped in and began tickling Elias as well actually tickling him and not punching him with anger like his new found friend.
Seeing the two tickle Elias both Tunomon and Sappy turned to each other and smiled at the scene. As both knew Elias was going through a lot through their connection Elias doesn't just gain a power from his creatures, but his creatures also gain an understanding of him as he does them. Feeling this as the oldest members of this 'Family' Tunomon and Sappy knew of the conflicted feelings that began to arose Elias. Hoping to find a way to both solve and erase them. As they all considered each other family even if it wasn't shown.
After ten minutes of being Tickled, playing with his games with Tunomon, Charmander, and Teddy. While Sappy watched from a distance. Soon enough Elias brought the four together sitting of logs listening to what he had to say. Tunomon and Charmander sat on one log together while Teddy and Sappy did their own things. Sappy sat upon Charmander's head getting perfect eye line with Elias pleasing her for her foresight. While Teddy began shinning a dazzling emerald. "I have something important to discuss with you."
Hearing these words the three whom paid attention began to show nerve while Teddy showed little care towards Elias' weighted words. "I have involved myself into something that I could easily avoid. However the price in doing so would be to forfeit the safety of both human's and all magical creatures out three within this world. So in order to walk forward I must take steps back. So in doing I may ask for your help in hopes of saving not just us but everyone we can. And before I officially took the first step. Would you all join me?"
Silence. For what was a moment felt like hours Elias asking his new family to risk their lives in hopes of fulfilling his quest. A price no one should bare yet it must in order for more lives to be saved than to be lost. Elias once looking them straight in the eye couldn't help but look away as the guilt ate away at him from the inside out causing a disgusted look to plaster his face. "Understood boss!" Hearing that voice Elias knew it to be Tunomon and looked up seeing a fire well within his eyes causing a feeling of connection to take hold. This connection was trust something Elias Haden't felt since his time in this world. Not even from the people who've shown him kindness or offered him their favors.
But genuine trust. Then something odd took shape Tunomon began to glow changing his visage started glowing a pale blue and his size grew nearly three times. The light so blinding caused mostly everyone to close their eyes accept Teddy who found it to be the most thinnest thing he's seen making him feel the greed of his race regarding shiny things. With this blinding light Teddy's bill began to prop and his eyes widen at the sight. While Elias and Charmander closed their eyes. Leaving Sappy who freaked out and flew off Tunomon just in time for the glowing to subside.
"Gabumon!" Hearing his arrival Tunomon now dubbed Gabumon took shape. In replacement of Tunomon's ferried features Gabon had a slick yellow under belly like Charmander, but instead over its chestier cavity had an engraving of a blue egg and red claw marks strewn across. Over the Gabumon's reptile skin was a fur coat attached to a unicorn horn right between its crimson eyes. The fur carried with it dragged ear's that added towards a more cute motif while the fangs similar to its jagged claws diminished that blow.
Astonished by this Elias didn't have enough time as he felt a pain inducing headache similar to all the times of bringing a new creature into the case. However something different took place instead of just feeling better after a shorter time compared to the others. Elias didn't feel like he'd lost something. As Elias knew that both Digimon and Pokemon could evolve he thought that meant his abilities he gained from them both being two. Would vanish yet that wasn't the case? Instead a new power was gained attempting to try it out Elias stood up pointed his open paw and thought to himself of using Gabumon's now shared power.
From this thought the power was then shared creating small blue sparks within the center of Elias' hand and the sparkle began to enlarge big enough to shape a baseball. Once the object was formed like a geyser the blue energy shot forward damaging the nearby grass causing it to freeze over turning the once fresh green grass into an icy layer.
Comprehending this power and utilizing it would become a challenge like the rest of his abilities and as the ones he will get within the future. However now sadly wasn't the time to dilly dally. Within the case's subspace time flowed faster hoping to provide growth and clarity to those within its leather bindings. So in hopes of a good sleep Elias looked to the four and wished them farewell after hugging each one of them including the reluctant Teddy who still was furious at Elias for scaring him.
With a simple exit and closing of the door Elias climbed back up the stair finding his way back to within his motel room's chamber's a bed and a desk that once held the dumplings he ate. And to the side a window that was covered by the nearby building's brick expenditure preventing natural light from entering. After safely latching the cases copper ones. Elias looked towards his rented bed and laid there with his face to the right in his Plague outfit feeling his beak hit the side of the bed while his hat was pushed to the back of his head. Then time eluded him as Elias visited the dream world only for few hours to pass and for him to reawaken to his new reality.
