I stared blankly at Celine's face for several seconds.
"No," I said flatly.
Then I began closing the door.
Celine quickly shoved her foot between the door and the frame.
"Wait!"
"I don't want to ."
"You haven't even heard what I want yet."
"You want to go for a morning run. My answer is no."

"That isn't a reason to wake up at six in the morning."
"You were already awake."
"How do you know that?"
Celine's gaze dropped to the book in my hand.

"I told her this was a bad idea."
Celine turned toward her.
"You said, 'Cassian might kill us when he opens the door.'"
"It means the same thing."
"Why did you come?" I asked.
Lunox's sleepy gaze shifted toward Celine.
"She threatened to break down my door."
