Iori slashes downwards onto TBM. He dodges and swings his hand in her direction, creating a large draft. She flies back. "O refk ksof fmay zoks ksire muzab ul Nebp: Nebphaff etfubmkouh," Lily casts. A dark purple sphere fires at TBM. TBM counters by punching the orb, but quickly finds out it was a bad idea. The moment his hand makes contact with the orb, his whole arm explodes. Blood splatters out before it is all absorbed into the orb. The orb then explodes. TBM jumps back out of the explosion, and he regenerates his arm. "That's a shame. I was hoping that would kill him. That used up all my stored energy," Lily says.
"If that's the case," TBM appears behind Lilith. "Then that means you'll be an easy target," TBM says. He goes to punch her, not realizing the trap he just fell into. With one swift movement, both of TBM's hands disappear from his arms.
"Blade of Love and God, 6th form: Wrath of the Love God," She says. TBM jumps back as his hands regenerate. "Just because I ran out of energy to use skills and magic doesn't mean I lost my sword techniques. You fell for that trap too easily. I expected better from someone with the berserker mage class."
"I guess I got too complacent. I won't make that mistake again." Suddenly, a giant smoke cloud engulfs the area. Satoshi punches Joshua in the stomach, sending him flying. Joshua catches himself with wind magic, taking significant damage. Satoshi charges in for another attack, but Joshua makes a platform with wind to jump over the attack. The dodge makes no difference as Satoshi appears above him again.
"You won't get away that easily." He punches Joshua into the ground, causing him to cough up blood. Satoshi grins as the one-sided battle ensues. Joshua grabs Satoshi's arm and forms multiple green magic circles around it.
"O ohvabfire ksire muzab ul nifk ku ersoavire di zoy, zoks ksire muzab ul zohn: Zhon Tyenire Fyefs," he chants. A barrage of wind slashes at Satoshi's arm as dust flies in the air. Joshua jumps back, holding Satoshi's arm. He throws it to the side. "I really took that much to do any meaningful damage, but now you don't have any arms,"
"No arms? You forget that the only reason I didn't regenerate my overarm is that it was burned," Satoshi says. He easily regenerates his lost arm. He pulls out Skull Cleaver. "This battle ends here and now."
"I guess it will then." The space next to Joshua begins to distort. He grabs a handle and unsheathes a blade from the distorted space. It has an unusual shape, a snake-like blade. It has a skull at the center of it. The whole blade is black, with it absorbing all light in most spots while also giving off a rainbow hue in others. "This battle will end now." They charge at each other, making the first clash of their blades. They continue to clash, each attack parrying another's. Joshua jumps back and quickly casts a spell, "O refk muzab ul zohn: Zhon Tyenire Fyefs." Joshua casts, he uses extra mana to make sure the shortened incantation doesn't weaken the spell. Blades of wind fly at Satoshi. Satoshi continues to charge forward, parrying any attacks that would hit his right side.
Dai'chi and Alexander continue to trade attacks, each one coming faster and faster. Satoshi throws Skull Cleaver to the side, catching Joshua off guard. Dai'chi knocks Alexander backwards, into the path of Skull Cleaver. Alexander blocks the attack, but another one comes flying from the direction of Dai'chi. He catches, but quickly realizes it was a kunai. He turns back to where Skull Cleaver came flying from and sees Dai'chi swinging down on him. He tries to block the attack, but his sword begins to crack. He jumps back right before his sword shatters.
Satoshi headbutts Joshua, and Joshua quickly responds as he gets knocked backwards. "O refk muzab ul orire: Ororyire fsuk," he casts. Icicles shoot at Satoshi from every direction, but Satoshi simply swats the attack away. He charges forward and slams Joshua into the ground. Joshua goes to stab Satoshi, but Satoshi jumps away. Joshua throws a dagger at Satoshi, and it hits his stomach. Satoshi grabs the dagger and throws it back at Joshua. Joshua dodges the dagger to the side as he begins to cast a spell while dodging Satoshi's attacks "O ohvabfire ksire muzab ul aebks ku ersoavire di zoy, zoks ksire muzab ul fkuhire: Fkuhire n-," he goes to say as Satoshi punches him into the ground, but he refused to stop. "Fkuhire nboy," A magic circle forms, and a rotating, pointed rock shoots out at Satoshi. He goes to punch the rock, but is unable to damage or stop it. The rock pierces through his arm, cutting it in half. Satoshi quickly regenerates the wound.
"That attack was much sturdier than I expected it to be. It seemed to be just earth magic, but that was fundamentally different. Earth magic values quantity over quality, while that spell valued quality over quantity. I guess that must be the infamous inverse magic that I've heard. It's just as wonderful as I've heard. I soon will be able to use that as well," Satoshi says. Joshua gets up from the ground.
"I don't know what the hell you are talking about; all I know is that you are insane and you need to be stopped here and now," Joshua says. Satoshi pulls off his lower arm bone on the charred side of his body and quickly sharpens it. Satoshi dashes towards Joshua again. Joshua swings his sword at him, but Satoshi swings his bone sword. Satoshi headbutts Joshua, nearly knocking him out. Satoshi lifts his bone up.
"It seems that this is checkmate," Satoshi says as he swings downwards. When he reaches Joshua, he suddenly disappears. Joshua reappears behind Satoshi, prepared to stab him.
"You're right. This is checkmate, just not for me," Joshua says. He thrusts the sword into Satoshi. Satoshi simply grins as Joshua uses his final move. "Sword of inversion ability, Mana flow reversal," He says.
"I wasn't talking to you," Satoshi responds. The flow of the mana in Satoshi's veins goes backwards, clotting the flow of blood until they burst. His mana spirals out of control, shooting out of his body in any opening it can rip open. The veins in Satoshi's body continue to explode as his organs begin to fail until he inevitably falls, dead with the same grin as always. Aevum, Krytheos, and Iori look over at him, shocked. Dai'chi looks over for a moment, not able to fully give his attention, as is the case with Lily. Jesse looks at what happened from the side of the battlefield, as cold as ever.
"I guess you win this round."
