"Oh" Hoshinomiya rubbed her head pitifully. "He was the one who came looking for Sae-chan. I was just helping to entertain him while you were away"
Sae Chabashira snorted. "You should have just left them alone." She turned to Kiyomizu and Horikita, her tone softening slightly. "Sorry to keep you waiting. It's not convenient to talk here. You two, follow me to the guidance office."
"Let me come too Just to listen in" Hoshinomiya sidled up like a clingy cat, her eyes sparkling with gossip.
"No!" Honami Ichinose quickly grabbed her wrist. "Hoshinomiya-sensei, our class has important matters to discuss!"
Chabashira then played her trump card. "If you dare to follow, I don't mind making you spend the weekend nursing your injuries in bed." She added with a straight face, "It'll save you the trouble of going out and causing problems on the weekend."
"Whoa You two are so mean!" Hoshinomiya's shoulders slumped dramatically, like a puppy caught in the rain. "One is my best friend, and the other is my most trusted class rep... how could I possibly defy you"
When Kiyomizu and the others had completely disappeared down the hallway, the bright smile on Hoshinomiya's face gradually faded like a receding tide. "Sae-chan..." she murmured, "...don't tell me you're actually planning an upset? That's something... I'll be the first to oppose."
"Hoshinomiya-sensei?" Honami Ichinose tilted her head in confusion. "What did you just say?"
