Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 - Wind Boon vs Young God

A ray of hope seemed to illuminate the two young men.

"Okay, Su Yu, I'll do as you say."

Huo Yuhao excitedly channeled his spirit power, unleashing his Spirit Eyes to the fullest extent, scanning for suitable spirit beasts. As a Spiritual Master, Huo Yuhao's foresight was undoubtedly exceptional, it allow him to dodging several spirit beasts in quick succession.

The protagonist was always the protagonist. A dark figure darted out from the woods, knocking Su Yu flying before lunging at him with bared fangs. Su Yu peered closely to see a baboon, only about a meter tall, covered in brown-yellow fur, brown eyes, sharp nails, and fangs. He knew without even looking that it was a wind baboon attempting to challenge the god. If Huo Yuhao hadn't been the protagonist, it would have likely that he will be killed.

"Damn it! That's too much! They just slapped me straight in the face! It hurts so badly..."

Su Yu rubbed his back in pain. Just as the wind baboon had leaped out, it had swung its arm and sent Su Yu flying. Huo Yuhao, with his extraordinary perception, had dodged the blow, but Su Yu, who was traveling with Huo Yuhao, was in trouble. Seeing Su Yu being sent flying, Huo Yuhao anxiously called out, "Su Yu!"

"I'm fine! Don't be distracted! Let's kill this wind baboon together."

Su Yu knew that if they could kill this wind baboon, Yuhao's life would change. Since he were witnessing the rise of a god, Su Yu had to help, while the protagonist still young, otherwise he'd be clinging to someone else's power.

The wind baboon lunged at Huo Yuhao again, oblivious to Su Yu appearing behind it. After several failed attacks, it began to irritate Huo Yuhao with the sight of a human. It raised its fist and pounded its chest vigorously, its mouth wide open, aiming towards Huo Yuhao.

Then, a ball of white light slowly gathered, seemingly about to fly towards Huo Yuhao. Yuhao was still young, his face pale and trembling. He was already at a loss as to what to do. If he were hit by this blow, he would be utterly annihilated, certain death. "What should I do? What should I do? Mom, I don't want to die yet..."

Just as Huo Yuhao's mind went blank, a mirror, with a whirring sound, slammed directly onto the wind baboon's head.

"Damn it! You came right up and slapped me. I'm giving you face, huh?"

 Buzz!

The wind baboon shuddered, and the white light in its mouth dissipated. It couldn't understand how a human it had sent flying could still be alive. The blow from Su Yu's spirit mirror made its head buzz.

"Yuhao, quick! Strike it before it reacts!"

Su Yu shouted to Yuhao. Yuhao also carried a White Tiger Dagger. If they, two weaklings, were to kill this Wind Baboon, they would be exhausted. If they didn't use their weapon, wouldn't this spirit guide be wasted?

At that moment, after Su Yu's warning, Huo Yuhao quickly regained his composure. It was undeniable that the advantages of a Spiritual Master were obvious; their perception was astonishing. Seeing the Wind Baboon pinned down by Su Yu's mirror, he pounded on it over a dozen times, leaving even the Wind Baboon stunned. Where could such a human be so ruthless?

"Yuhao, I leave it to you..."

After all, Su Yu's spirit power was only level ten, and with his twelve-year-old body, he didn't have much strength to begin with. If this Wind Baboon wasn't only ten years old, even if his mirror martial spirit shattered, he might not have been able to stifle it.

Huo Yuhao didn't hesitate, immediately drawing his White Tiger Dagger. Having experienced the previous crisis, he had deeply felt the Wind Baboon's formidable power. He raised the dagger and stabbed the Wind Baboon in the chest, sending the still dazed Wind Baboon to his death.

Looking at the rising white spirit ring, Su Yu couldn't help but sigh, "It's good to dare to kill a god, but you also have to consider who is the protagonist of this episode. If you had tried harder and become a Centenary Spirit Beast, you could have made it. What a pity..."

Huo Yuhao stared at the rising white spirit ring in amazement. "Win, we win..."

However, looking at the wind-attributed spirit ring before him, he hesitated. After all, he knew that it wasn't suitable for him, and it wouldn't be suitable. But, would he be able to obtain spirit rings in the future?

"Oh my god! I've waited seven years, and finally got Yuhao's invincibility cheat."

Su Yu smiled contentedly at Huo Yuhao, who leaned against a tree in deep thought. Then, seeing Huo Yuhao's puzzled expression, followed by a look of disbelief, he pretended to stumble towards Huo Yuhao and said, "Yuhao, my body hurts so much. I..."

Then, his body slumped, and he collapsed seven or eight meters away from Huo Yuhao.

"I'm so tired! If I hadn't known I couldn't get this invincibility cheat, I would have knocked you out long ago. Forget it, let me get some sleep. I'm so tired! Damn it! Why are you really going to sleep? Tianmeng Ice Silkworm, it must be you! Damn it! You won't even let me watch the show..."

As the ground began to slowly shake, Su Yu's consciousness grew increasingly hazy. He could easily guess that it was the Tianmeng Ice Silkworm's fault; otherwise, how could he have fallen asleep for no reason?

 What a sweet dream...

A crisp slap jolted Su Yu from his coma. Looking at the three people before him, Su Yu asked bewilderedly.

"I'm not dead yet, am I?"

Clearly, a long time had passed since Huo Yuhao woke up and Tang Ya and Bei Bei found him. He seemed to have benefited from Huo Yuhao's kindness, having been well taken care of.

Touching the slap mark on his face, Su Yu rolled his eyes. "Who hit me just now?"

At this moment, Huo Yuhao, looking ashamed, spoke. "I'm sorry. I saw you hadn't woken up yet, and I was a little worried about you, so..."

Su Yu watched Huo Yuhao's gaze drifting towards Bei Bei, and he immediately understood what had happened.

'Damn it! I knew it was that bastard Bei Bei's bad idea. Damn it! Next time you're unconscious, I'll give you a slap too!'

"Yuhao, your friend's awake too. Where are you going now?" Tang Ya asked, observing Huo Yuhao's bewildered expression.

This question left Huo Yuhao even more bewildered. According to the original novel, Tang Ya's gloating was followed by a rebuke from Bei Bei.

As expected, Tang Ya began to promote the Tang Sect to Huo Yuhao, the once-mighty Douluo Continent sect. However, Tang Ya was now the sole surviving member, and Bei Bei, who had been tempted by her beauty, was a typical son-in-law.

"Sister Xiaoya, are you talking about the Tang Sect founded by King Lan Hao, Senior Sea God Tang San?"

Su Yu knew, but feigned ignorance.

"Yes, it is the Tang Sect, but it has fallen into decline, its foundations seized. Now, only Bei Bei and I remain. I am the current leader of the Tang Sect, and Bei Bei is my founding disciple."

Tang Ya's eyes welled up. As a descendant of the Tang Sect, who wouldn't want to relive its former glory? Their current situation was truly lamentable.

"Sister Xiaoya, Brother Beibei, can I join the Tang Sect? Although the Tang Sect has declined, I believe that gold will always shine. Even if the Tang Sect has fallen, its former glory cannot be erased. I believe you will not lie to me. In the future, I firmly believe that the Tang Sect will regain its glory!"

Su Yu stood up and spoke to Tang Ya, his words so decisive and confident.

Beibei coughed a few times and said, "I know you believe in us, but you also know the Tang Sect's current situation. Although there are only two of us in the Tang Sect now, we will work hard to restore the Tang Sect to its former glory. So, do you really want to join the Tang Sect?"

Su Yu nodded and said firmly, "I will not regret it. I also yearn for the once-glorious Tang Sect. It is my honor to join the Tang Sect now!"

To join the Tang Sect, to enter Shrek, and for my Wang Dong'er, I will fight for it!
