Weapon Design
Weapon Name:
Berserker Axe – The Curse of Endless Rage
Appearance / Design:
The Blade: A broad, heavy edge forged not from ordinary iron, but from the blood and bones of fallen warriors. Its jagged spikes are said to split not only armor and flesh, but also tear into the very soul of its victims.
The Chains and Ornaments: Heavy chains coil around the weapon, believed to bind the spirits of warriors slain by the axe. Each new soul strengthens the weapon, making it deadlier after every battle.
The Handle: Carved from the spine of a fallen frost giant, it grants the wielder unnatural strength and endurance.
Ability / Power:
Grants immense physical power and berserk rage to its wielder.
Absorbs the spirits of defeated foes, growing stronger with each soul captured.
The rage it invokes pushes the user into a state of relentless combat, almost unstoppable in battle.
Weakness / Limitation:
The weapon slowly consumes the wielder's mind.
First comes uncontrollable rage, then madness, and finally the soul of the wielder becomes imprisoned among countless others bound inside the axe.
Backstory / Lore:
Forged in the ancient northern lands, the Berserker Axe was born of blood and bone. It once belonged to a berserker who swore to his gods that he would never know peace, only eternal battle. The weapon embodies that curse, carrying forward the endless rage of its original master.
Usage in Battle:
When swung, the axe roars with the fury of imprisoned souls. Every strike grows heavier, fueled by rage and spirits within, until both enemy and wielder are consumed in its endless thirst for battle.
