When Mina waves goodbye to the blacksmith, Mina went for Aaron in the bustling city. In the evening, she couldn't find him everywhere, but she didn't give up as long as she could find him. Then, she saw a familiar figure at the distance who just sitting on the bench from the park, so she went to him.
"Hey.", she greeted Aaron. "You again? What do you want?", as he turns his back on Mina on the bench. Mina sighed, then sits down on the bench with Aaron. "Um....,you ok?", she asked. Aaron with his eyebrow raise, question Mina, "Why are you asking me if I'm alright? It's not like I died or anything like that.", he scoffs as he place his face on his left palm to ignore him.
"Look, can I just reveal my past to you?", she ask Aaron's permission. Aaron looks at Mina with a confusion, but rolls his eyes, "Whatever.", as he still ignored her. "I...ain't had a good childhood. Since I pretty much gets bullied a lot.", she confess one piece of her past. Aaron slowly looks at her in his disbelief, that Mina actually gets bullied before despite her strength, but stays silent anyway. "Ever since I was an chubby & poor kid, the kids....even if they had a good heart, they all bullying me for fun. But...my parents, they all love me. They both promise that they will return one day when they going to the city to get me a better home."
"What happened?", he finally started to ask her. "Well, they were murdered by Color Bandits when they were about to get home.", as she reveals this painful part of her past to Aaron. Aaron's eyes widened, as he couldn't say anything about this. Mina gripped the bench with hands tightly, "I...I... couldn't imagine....how cruel of those Color Bandits....this is...this is why I wanted to be the knight & join the expedition, so I can kill them all.", as she reveal her goal to Aaron, she finally started to cried. Aaron, didn't know what to do, finally hug Mina & place her on his shoulder. "A-Aaron?", she is flabbergasted by his hug. "It's ok. Cry if you want.", he comfort her with a hug. Then, Mina finally cried on his shoulder, to soothe her pain.
A few moments later, Mina then asked Aaron, "Um...can you let me go? I'm fine now.", Aaron hearing this,then let her go. Mina wipe her tears as he feels comfortable now. "S-sorry. I cried like an idiot.",she deprecate herself. "No. It's not.", Aaron corrected her. "Hehe, thanks.", as she stood up from the bench, "Aaron, thanks for soothe my pain. I...also sorry to eavesdropping your past. Aaron replied, "It's ok. The old man is an idiot anyway." "Then", as she was about to leave, "I will see you again ", she smile as her goodbye to Aaron.
Then, at night, when Aaron walks to his home, Aaron stop for a moment, realizing that Mina could get killed if she goes to the expedition without a worthy partner. Finally, Aaron decided that, he will join the expedition with Mina so that he can find his family.
