Chapter 89 - CH 89 :Clash on Planet Namek

King Kai's calm voice echoed across Rudra's mind.

"Rudra, you and Goku must go to Planet Namek. Time is short."

With no hesitation, Rudra gripped Goku's shoulder. Together, they vanished in an instant—reappearing on a strange green world.

The first thing they saw was devastation. A once-peaceful village lay in ruins. The air stank of smoke, charred wood, and blood. All around them, the lifeless bodies of Namekians—elders, warriors, and even children—lay sprawled across the ground.

Rudra's fists trembled. His heart pounded as he stared at the carnage.

Goku's eyes darkened, fury trembling through him.

"Who could've done this…?" Goku muttered, his voice low.

Rudra closed his eyes, feeling the fading echoes of Ki. "I can sense it. Dozens of energy signatures… all snuffed out at once. Whoever did this… they're still nearby."

"They'll pay for this," Goku growled. "I won't forgive monsters who kill like this."

Rudra pointed toward the horizon. "There. That's where the strongest Ki is coming from. Let's move."

The two shot into the sky, leaving streaks of light across the emerald atmosphere.

When they landed, chaos awaited them. Frieza Force soldiers were tearing through another Namekian settlement. Blasters fired, warriors screamed, children cried.

Rudra and Goku exchanged a glance. That was all it took.

In a storm of fists, kicks, and energy, the two warriors descended. Rudra moved like lightning, striking with surgical precision. His Murim martial arts training flowed into every movement—parries, counters, devastating palm strikes. Soldiers fell before they even understood what was happening.

Beside him, Goku's raw power unleashed havoc. Every blow was thunder. Every kick sent shockwaves across the battlefield.

Within minutes, silence returned. The Namekians, trembling but alive, looked at their saviors in awe.

But before relief could set in, a slow, mocking clap echoed from the shadows.

From the smoke stepped a man—tall, muscular, his black armor clinging tightly to his frame. A Saiyan tail swayed lazily around his waist. He chewed into a strange fruit, juice dripping as he smirked.

Rudra's gaze hardened.

Goku froze.

"That tail… another Saiyan?!" Goku exclaimed.

The figure laughed, tossing the fruit core aside. "So, you noticed. Name's Turles. And yes—I'm a Saiyan. But don't confuse me with your kind. I serve King Cold, Frieza's father. He sent me here to collect some… magical spheres."

"Dragon Balls…" Rudra muttered under his breath.

Turles' smirk widened. "Ah, so you know of them. Impressive. But you—" his gaze locked on Rudra, narrowing, "—you dare speak so casually in front of me? A weakling like you?"

Without warning, a violet Ki blast tore through the air.

"Rudra!" Goku shouted, flashing in front of him. He deflected the attack, the explosion rocking the ground.

Goku glared, his aura beginning to flare. "I don't care who you are. If you harm innocent people, or try to kill my friends—I'll stop you."

Turles laughed cruelly. "That weakling is your friend? How pathetic. Still… it's been too long since I faced a worthy opponent. And you, orange gi… you might do. After all, only a Saiyan can rival a Saiyan."

"Then fight already," Goku snapped.

Golden energy erupted around him as he transformed into a Super Saiyan. The sight made Turles' confidence falter for the first time.

"A… Super Saiyan?!" he gasped.

Before he could react, Goku blurred forward. The clash was instant—fist against fist, shockwaves splitting the air.

But as the battle raged, Rudra moved too. He shot in low, his palm strike smashing into Turles' ribs. The Saiyan grunted, staggering back a step.

Turles snarled. "You…! You dare?!"

Rudra's eyes were sharp, calm. "I don't need golden hair to stand against you. My training is enough."

He launched forward again. His martial arts flowed like water—deflecting a punch, slipping past a knee strike, landing precise blows on Turles' weak points. For a moment, the mighty Saiyan was overwhelmed.

"Impossible!" Turles spat, blocking another strike. "You're not even a Saiyan!"

Rudra's calm voice cut through the chaos. "I don't need to be."

Goku seized the moment, driving his fist into Turles' jaw. The Saiyan flew back, smashing into a cliffside.

Turles rose, panting, rage burning in his eyes. His aura flared violently as he devoured another fruit, power surging. "You'll regret that!"

He lunged, faster and stronger than before. Energy blasts rained across the battlefield, shaking the ground.

Rudra dodged and countered, his movements tight, efficient. Goku clashed head-on, his golden aura blazing. Together, the two pushed Turles back.

"Enough!" Goku roared, charging energy between his palms. "Rudra—hold him!"

Without hesitation, Rudra darted forward. He weaved through Turles' attacks, closing the distance. His arms locked around Turles' torso in a crushing grip. The Saiyan thrashed, but Rudra's muscles strained, refusing to let go.

"Now, Goku!" Rudra shouted.

"Kame… hame… HAAAA!"

The beam roared forward, swallowing Turles whole. His scream tore through the sky, then was silenced as his body disintegrated into nothingness.

When the light faded, Rudra collapsed to one knee, panting heavily. His arms ached from the struggle, but he was alive.

Goku dropped beside him, offering a hand. "You did great, Rudra. Without you, I wouldn't have landed that shot."

Rudra smirked faintly, catching his breath. "Guess even Super Saiyans need backup sometimes."

Goku chuckled, helping him up. "Fair enough."

As they turned, the battlefield was quiet once more. At Rudra's feet lay the last of the fallen soldiers, and in his arms, three massive Dragon Balls shimmered faintly.

"Looks like we've taken the first step," Rudra said softly.

Goku nodded, his golden aura fading. "Yeah. Let's bring everyone back."

The two stood side by side under Namek's green sky—warriors bound by fate, their journey far from over.
