Chapter 64: The Dark Elves Invasion Begins
Captain America Steve, after hearing Pietro's words, looked at Thor with an even graver expression.
He knew exactly how fast Pietro was. This Thor who claimed to be from another Universe could actually perceive Pietro's movements, and then there was this Old Loki.
These two were far more powerful than the Thor and Lokithey knew. It was unclear whether this was good or bad.
Thor quietly watched the long-extinguished Chaos Magicin Wanda's hand, a faint red light flickering in his eyes. In that instant just now, he had glimpsed the essence of Chaos Magic and rapidly grasped the fundamental laws for constructing this power.
He had successfully obtained one of the more overpowered forces in this Marvel Universe, though the Chaos Magic he comprehended was roughly on par with Wanda's, who had only awakened it not long ago.
However, given his rate of mastery, he believed it would only be a matter of days before his strength advanced again, taking another small step closer to the level of the Multiverse.
"Pietro, do you want your speed to advance further?"
Thor knew Wanda was currently psychologically fragile and didn't intend to start with her. Instead, he set his sights on her brother, Pietro.
*Whoosh—!*
Pietro had just stood up. Hearing such an offer, he instantly appeared before Thor, looking at him with eager anticipation.
"What do you want me to do?"
"Simple. Convince Wanda to join Kamar-Taj. I can enhance you right now."
Thor lightly tapped. A wisp of white light drifted leisurely into Pietro's body, instantly causing his physical attributes and speed to skyrocket.
"Whoa! This is so freaking cool!"
To get a handle on his new power, Pietro ran a lap around New York and returned to the spot, discovering that besides Thor, no one else had noticed. This made him even happier.
He patted his chest, guaranteeing:
"Don't worry, Thor. Getting Wanda to learn magic is a small thing. Leave it to me!"
Pietro *whooshed* back to Wanda's side and began his persuasion.
Thor watched Pietro, who had so readily sided with him, with great satisfaction and smiled.
Just now, he hadn't only comprehended the overpowered force of Chaos Magic. Through the faint, embryonic trace of the Law of Speed on Pietro, he had directly grasped the Law of Speed itself. Although it wasn't of much use to him, who had already mastered the Law of Time, it seemed the Ancient One's task was mostly assured.
Captain America Steve felt something had happened in that instant but couldn't figure it out. He directly asked Thor:
"Thor, what did you do to Pietro?"
"Nothing much, just enhanced his speed a bit. Brought him up to around over a dozen Mach, I think. Not sure of the specifics; you'd have to ask Valeria."
Thor wasn't entirely sure to what extent he had enhanced Quicksilver, but he was certain he couldn't be killed by bullets anymore.
Hearing Thor mention her, Valeria glanced at Pietro beside her, scanned him with an instrument, took a look, and became even more interested in Thor. Her gaze burned as she stared at him:
"Thor, can you let me dissect you? You just used another law to enhance Pietro, and it was controllable!"
"His speed now reaches a full 20 Mach! And under the influence of this Law of Speed, he no longer has to worry about causing sonic booms that could harm ordinary people when moving too fast!"
"Do you know what this means?"
Valeria ran back from beside Dr. Banner, looking at Thor, the perfect specimen before her, her pupils shining like large light bulbs.
"What does it mean?!"
Thor silently took two steps back, trying to put some distance between himself and this kid.
Valeria's fingers flew across the holographic panel, lines of data streaming and refreshing frantically. When she looked up, only pure academic fervor remained in her eyes:
"This means vector interference at the level of macroscopic motion laws! What you injected wasn't energy; it was rule-level permission rewriting!"
"Relativistic motion at 20 Mach would normally generate sustained shockwaves, overpressure fields, thermal accumulation, and plasma-ionized air within the standard atmosphere, enough to put half of Manhattan into a seismic damage classification. But now, his body is covered by a low-dimensional rule membrane that directly dissipates sonic booms, counteracts turbulence, shields aerodynamic heating, reducing all physical costs to zero."
She took half a step forward, her gaze locked onto Thor as if observing a perfect experimental specimen:
"You didn't just enhance his speed; you granted him localized spatiotemporal movement priority, automatically stripping away aerodynamic constraints when he moves through three-dimensional space."
"This isn't ability enhancement at all! Unlike Pietro's own faint, negligible embryonic trace of the Law of Speed, you directly completed, solidified, and locked in a stable operational logic."
Valeria took a deep breath, her tone finally carrying a trace of barely suppressed tremor:
"Thor! Do you understand what this concept means?!"
"This is cross-dimensional rule transplantation, underlying rule coding that individuals below the level of Eternity can almost never master independently."
"With a casual tap just now, you accomplished the fine manipulation of reality rules that Reed Richards has spent his entire life trying to deduce!"
She abruptly turned her head to look at Thor, her gaze blazing and obsessive:
"Thor, you are practically a walking source of rules!"
"Quick! Let me dissect you properly! You're even more valuable for research than the Infinity Stones!"
The Main Universe Natasha glanced at Tony and Dr. Banner, who were frantically researching how to change back, and teased:
"Banner, you scientists are truly insane."
"No, my research is usually quite conservative and mild. Valeria is a bit too extreme."
Dr. Banner admired Valeria for having mastered so much scientific knowledge at such a young age, even surpassing himself.
However, seeing her acting exactly like a mad scientist from movies and TV shows, he finally understood why she could grasp so much knowledge.
Thor showed no mercy, directly opening a portal, grabbing Valeria, and tossing her inside.
"Thor! Just you wait! Once I'm done playing, I'll have Franklin hold you down so I can dissect you properly!"
"Ahem... Don't be alarmed. This is purely individual behavior. Please don't generalize it to the collective."
Thor, seeing the increasingly odd looks everyone was giving him, silently took a step back and forced out an explanation.
In the end, it was Wanda who broke the silence. "You... can you really help me master this power?"
"Yes, but you need to go to Kamar-Taj. The Sorcerer Supreme will personally teach you magic. Of course, you can learn from me if you want."
Thor raised his hand, and Chaos Magic identical to Wanda's emerged from his palm, eerie and mysterious.
"You... you have my ability too?!"
Seeing this all-too-familiar power, Wanda stood frozen, releasing her own Chaos Magic from her hand.
The two strands of Chaos Magic, sharing the same origin, sensed each other's presence and began to move closer.
"Hmm... Loki, we should go."
Thor sensed something, withdrew his Chaos Magic, and glanced at Old Loki, who had become addicted to drinking tea.
"What's wrong? Did something happen in the Land of Nihility?"
"No. The celestial bodies have begun to converge. The Dark Elves are about to invade Asgard."
Thor walked to the window, looked up at the sky, his gaze traversing countless dimensions, landing squarely on the Asgard of the Main Universe.
Old Loki's aura changed accordingly, sharp like a sword about to be drawn. His suit vanished, replaced by his original golden-green cape, and the surrounding magicbegan to churn.
"Let's go, Thor. I've been waiting for this moment. I'll make Malekith pay the price he deserves!"
"Wait! We're coming too! Asgard needs help. We can't stand by and do nothing."
Captain America Steve called out to stop Thor and Old Loki, who were preparing to leave.
"Alright, then let's go together."
Thor nodded. A light blue spatial vortex promptly swallowed everyone present, heading straight for Asgard!
Chapter 65: The Dark Elves Encounter Their Darkest Day Ever
Asgard, the Divine Realm.
The Heavenly Palace, once magnificent and filled with sanctity and solemnity, was now shrouded in continuous artillery fire.
Massive, hideous, pitch-black warships hovered over the Divine Realm like steel behemoths entrenched in the sky.
The muzzles of their prows flickered with ominous red light; every time they finished charging, they would fire a dark-red energy beam capable of tearing through space, slamming fiercely into Asgard's golden protective shield.
"Boom—!"
"Rumble—!"
Every impact made all of Asgard tremble.
At the end of the Bifrost Bridge, Heimdall held the Sword of Protection, his eyes wide open, doing his best to control the entire Divine Realm's defense system.
Golden energy surged from the control center hub beneath his feet, continuously flowing into the shield that was on the verge of shattering.
However, the Convergence phenomenon disrupted the stability of space.
Just as Heimdall struggled to maintain the defensive line, several smaller, dagger-shaped ships took advantage of the momentary instability of space jumps to penetrate the shield's weak points and plunge directly into Asgard's palace area.
The palace instantly fell into a sea of fire and chaos.
Malekith, the leader of the Dark Elves, stepped out of a ship with his most elite warriors.
They moved as if through an uninhabited land; the Asgardian guards along the way could not stop them at all, falling one after another in pools of blood.
Meanwhile, a thunderous roar came from the depths of the palace dungeon.
Malekith's most powerful subordinate, Algrim, a warrior transformed by the power of the curse, was stirring up a bloody rebellion in the dungeon.
He easily tore through the cages, and his immense strength drew the full attention of Odin the All-Father and Thunder God Thor of the Main Universe.
At this moment, Mother Frigga was pulling Jane Fosteralong, sprinting through the ornate but already dilapidated palace corridors.
"This way, quick!"
Frigga's goal was a more hidden secret chamber deep within the palace.
However, fate seemed to play a cruel joke. Just as they turned a corner, they ran headlong into Malekith and his group.
Malekith's single crimson eye stared intently at Jane Foster, looking as if he wanted to tear her apart immediately to seize the Aether Particle within her.
"Give it to me!"
Frigga shielded Jane Foster behind her without hesitation, a sharp longsword appearing out of thin air in her slender hand.
Although she was the Queen, she was also a powerful magic user raised by a Witch, and her close-combat abilities were not to be underestimated.
"If you want her, you'll have to go over my dead body!"
Before she finished speaking, Frigga's figure turned into a phantom, taking the initiative to charge at Malekith.
The longsword in her hand swung out lethal Arc Lights, while brilliant magic radiance emerged around her, enveloping Malekith and his subordinates within her attack range.
For a time, the sounds of clashing metal and magical explosions were incessant.
By her own strength, Frigga actually managed to hold back the leader of the Dark Elves and his personal guard.
Malekith grew more alarmed as the fight went on; he hadn't expected the Queen of Asgard to be so difficult to deal with.
Just as the battle reached a stalemate, a loud noise rang out.
"Boom!"
A thick wall made of giant stones nearby suddenly exploded, sending rubble flying.
The massive and distorted body of the Cursed WarriorAlgrim charged out, the dark energy radiating from him making the temperature of the entire space seem to drop by several degrees.
Frigga's heart tightened; she forced Malekith back with a sword strike and condensed a magic barrier with her backhand, attempting to block Algrim's path.
Unfortunately, the difference in power between the two was simply too great.
Algrim smashed the seemingly solid magic barrier to pieces with just a brutal punch.
He ignored all of Frigga's subsequent attacks, his huge palm lunging out like lightning, grabbing her by the neck and lifting her into the air.
A sense of suffocation immediately hit her; Frigga's struggles seemed so powerless under the other's iron-like grip.
"Mother!"
A roar of grief and indignation came from the other end of the corridor. Thor from the Main Universe, holding Mjolnirand crackling with electricity, rushed over like a madman.
Algrim glanced at the charging Thor, a cruel smile appearing on his face. He tightened his grip on Frigga's neck, prepared to crush his Mother's throat right in front of Thor.
Just at this critical moment.
In the air, a tiny crack tore open without warning.
There was no thunder or light in the crack, only extreme silence.
Then, a small, exquisite dagger with a faint green luster, like a specter traveling through time and space, attacked silently across the air.
Puchi!
The dagger's speed was at its peak, not even making a sound of wind, as it precisely entered the temple of the Cursed Warrior Algrim and exited through the other side.
Algrim's powerful body, which was strong enough to withstand Mjolnir, suddenly stiffened. The fierce light in his eyes quickly dimmed, and his massive body crashed to the ground, silent and still.
This Cursed Warrior, whom even Main Universe Thorfound troublesome, was instantly killed by a small dagger.
Malekith was pale with fright, thinking Odin had arrived in person, and subconsciously prepared to activate the teleportation device to retreat.
But he was horrified to find his body bound tightly by green magic shackles at some point, unable to move at all.
The divine power contained in those shackles was so vast that with his strength, he couldn't even break free in the slightest.
The void was torn open again. This time, a figure wearing gold and green battle armor and a cape stepped out, with an old face but incomparable majesty.
Old Loki.
He just stood there quietly, and a surge of divine power, comparable to Odin's and even deeper and more powerful on some levels, instantly enveloped all of Asgard.
Outside the palace, all the Dark Elves who had already passed through the protective shield and were causing wanton destruction in the city of Asgard suddenly froze.
In the next second, countless green shackles of divine power descended from the sky, binding every one of them firmly.
On the ground battlefield, Captain America Steve's shield had just blocked a Dark Elf's war blade, while Black Widow Natasha and Hawkeye Clint were back-to-back, struggling to resist the siege of several enemies.
Iron Man, who had been turned into a mouse by Old Loki, zipped through the air flexibly, drawing the fire of enemy ships.
Dr. Banner transformed into One Punch Man, smashing the Dark Elves into meat pies one punch at a time.
Captain Carter, Iron Fist Danny, and the Natasha from the other Universe were also helping the Asgardian guards fight a bloody battle.
Wanda used Chaos Magic to provide crowd control for everyone, while Quicksilver Pietro laughed with a wide grin, playing with the group of Dark Elves.
This sudden turn of events stunned everyone.
Hawkeye Clint looked at the Dark Elves who were pinned in place and unable to move, and offered a rare complaint.
"This Loki... is really ridiculously powerful."
He added with lingering fear: "Maybe we should be glad that he wasn't the one leading the Chitauri invasion of New York back then."
The moment Clint's voice fell.
All the Dark Elves bound by the divine shackles trembled violently, and then, under a silent, great power, they were instantly crushed.
"Bang, bang, bang..."
In a series of dull explosions, only pools of blood mist were left behind, and a pungent stench filled the air.
Inside the Asgardian palace, Odin, holding the Eternal Spear Gungnir, finally arrived.
The vast fluctuation of divine power just now had made even the All-Father feel a tremor in his heart, as if facing a great enemy.
The divine power in his body was pushed to its limit, ready to throw the Spear of Destiny that symbolized royal power at any time.
However, as soon as he arrived at the scene, he saw a sight he would never forget.
A Loki who was clearly many years older stepped out of the void, killing all the invaders with a wave of his hand, leaving only the bound leader of the Dark Elves.
Odin's full fighting intent and alertness instantly froze when he saw that familiar yet strange face.
Old Loki's gaze passed over everyone and landed on Frigga, who had just escaped danger. He opened his mouth, seemingly wanting to say something.
Before he could speak, Frigga had already walked up to him step by step.
She reached out and gently touched Old Loki's face, which was full of the furrows of time; her fingertips were trembling.
"Loki, my child..."
Frigga's voice carried a hint of a sob, filled with endless affection and heartache.
"The future... must have put you through a lot of suffering."
Chapter 66: The Invitation of the All-Father Odin
Old Loki wanted to say something, but his throat seemed choked by an invisible force, unable to utter a single word.
Those eyes, weathered by countless vicissitudes, churned with emotions far too complex to name.
Frigga looked at him, her eyes filled with nothing but heartache and tenderness.
She did not press further. Instead, she took a step forward and gently embraced this child whose frame was now slightly stooped, who had clearly aged countless years.
This embrace transcended time and space, and even life and death.
"It's alright now," Frigga said, patting his back gently as she had when comforting him in his youth. "Perhaps you can find a chance, slowly, to tell me everything."
Odin, standing not far away, watched this scene. The All-Father, who had ruled the Nine Realms for millennia, was uncharacteristically stunned.
His fingers, tightly gripping the Eternal Spear, slowly relaxed. The sharp, battle-ready aura that had surrounded him, bristling with Sharpness, melted away like ice and snow.
In this moment, he was no longer the Majestic All-Father, but merely an ordinary father gazing upon his child, lost and found.
Even if this child was adopted.
Even if he came from another time.
Yet the affection that had flowed through the years was undeniably real.
Odin's gaze settled on Old Loki. On that aged face, he could still faintly discern the shadow of that mischievous, Mischief youth.
His voice no longer carried the Intimidation of the All-Father, instead gaining a touch of the gentleness and solemnity of an ordinary father.
"Loki Odinson,"
he spoke, word by deliberate word.
"I am proud of you."
The moment the words fell, the entire Universe seemed to tremble in response.
A colossal, Seven Colors thunderbolt, unimaginable to mortal eyes, tore without warning through the cosmic starscape above Asgard!
The brilliance of the lightning even surpassed the radiance of the Heavenly Palace itself, painting the entire sky in dazzling, Brilliant splendor.
Immediately after, a divine power surge—more vast, more Magnificent, more unfathomable than the divine energy Old Loki had displayed—descended abruptly like a cosmic storm!
Outside the Heavenly Palace, the Dark Elves warships hovering in orbit, prepared for a second round of bombardment on Asgard, could not withstand this destructive thunder for even a second.
There was no explosion, no deafening roar.
Those ferocious steel behemoths, along with all the Dark Elf soldiers within, were utterly disintegrated into their most fundamental particles the instant the Seven Colorslightning swept over them, vanishing into the endless void.
The Dark Elves, who had just broken free from their ancient seal and were Preparing to make a comeback, were utterly eradicated in this soundless, traceless manner.
All except their leader, Malekith, who was bound within the palace by Old Loki.
Odin also sensed this terrifying authority, both familiar and strangeness. He cast a questioning look toward Old Loki.
Old Loki, as if he had long anticipated all this, offered only a indifferent explanation.
"Do not worry. That is Thor from another Universe. He is... stronger than I am."
His words held only a From the heart calmness, a simple statement of fact.
"Not a single Dark Elf will escape his grasp."
Jane Foster's mind completely short-circuited.
The mother of the Main Universe's Thor had nearly died saving her, then suddenly an elderly, Grandpa version of Loki appeared and one-shotted that black behemoth even Thor had trouble with.
And now, there was a Thor from another Universe, even more powerful?
The Multiverse... a concept existing only at the tip of theoretical physics conjecture... was actually real?
As a top-tier astrophysicist, she was trembling with excitement, itching to pull out instruments and measure the residual energy fluctuations in this space.
But she also knew this was absolutely not the time for academic research.
On the other side, the Shock in Odin's heart was no less than Jane Foster's, but his was mixed More with a sense of relief.
He could feel his own end approaching, the shadow of Ragnarok Always shrouded his heart.
But now, learning that the Thor and Loki of another Universe possessed such unimaginable, Surpassing strength, even Subtly surpassing his own prime...
Much of the worry in his heart Quietly dispersed.
The future of Asgard did not seem so dark after all.
...
On the plaza outside the palace, Thor stood with the heroes from Earth.
Black Widow Natasha from the Main Universe glanced at the scene of the family reunion at the distant palace entrance, then at the silent Thor beside her, and asked softly,
"Aren't you going to see your parents?"
Thor shook his head, a Gentle smile on his face.
"Not for now. This moment belongs to Loki."
Gazing at that aged Back view, he said quietly, "That is his regret. He should be the one to make amends."
Apart from Thor, everyone else was setting foot on Asgardian soil for the first time. They looked around the post-battle Heavenly Palace with novel.
Even amidst the ruins and lingering gunpowder smoke, the Magnificent and magnificent of this divine realm could not be concealed.
Golden palace complexes rose and fell in the distance. Beneath the Bifrost Bridge spanning the sky lay a Deep and boundless cosmic abyss where stars circulation.
Occasionally, one could even see a few mythical Tianma, wings beating as they flew past distant mountain peaks, leaving behind graceful silhouettes.
On the distant mountains, layers of mist like sheer veils drifted, shimmering with a faint golden light under the divine realm's radiance.
Everything here seemed like a wonderland stepped out of the most Magnificent Fantasy.
"Wow," Iron Fist Danny couldn't help but exclaim. "This feels different from the Asgard in my Universe... but it's just as beautiful."
As soon as the words left his mouth, everyone except Thoruniform turned their gazes toward him.
Hawkeye Clint from the Main Universe raised an eyebrow and asked, "You've been to Asgard?"
Danny thought for a moment and nodded.
"Yes, I have. Back then, to help stop Loki's rebellion and aid the Thunder God Thor in our Universe, Spider-Man and I went to lend a hand."
Just as everyone was still digesting this information-packed revelation, Thor, who had been watching the palace direction, suddenly stiffened.
He turned to look at the others, his expression turning Solemn.
"Come," he said. "The All-Father Odin requests our presence."
Chapter 67: King-Class Weapon, stormbreaker
Thor led the group, stepping into the devastated palace with practiced familiarity.
The golden floor tiles beneath their feet were shattered, revealing the dark foundation stones below. Several of the grand pillars, once carved with the patterns of the WorldTree, were broken, their remains scattered across the floor.
A faint smell of ozone still lingered in the air, mixed with the scent of metal and rock scorched by energy.
Before the throne, Odin stood tall, holding the Eternal Spear. The residual majesty of the God King on him stood in stark contrast to the surrounding ruins.
Beside him, Frigga was gently holding Old Loki's hand, while the Main Universe Thor and Jane Foster stood on the other side, their expressions varying.
Odin's gaze passed over his two sons, first landing on the heroes from Earth.
His single eye lingered only briefly on ordinary people like Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Captain America, before focusing on three individuals.
Bruce Banner.
Within this seemingly mild-mannered scholar lurked a violent power capable of tearing a Planet apart.
That primal rage, even through a layer of human skin, caused Odin, a battle-hardened God King, to feel a slight tremor in his heart.
The second was Iron Fist Danny.
Odin recognized the golden aura on him; it was the power of the immortal dragon 'Shou-Lao,' the legacy of K'un-Lun. Thousands of years ago, he had met the previous generation's Iron Fist.
The third was Wanda.
Odin looked at Wanda Maximoff. Upon sensing the immense power within her, his brow furrowed sharply. The host of Chaos Magic, a power capable of subverting the Multiverse, was hidden within this ordinary woman.
This group of Earthlings was even more dangerous than he had imagined.
Finally, Odin's gaze slowly and solemnly fell upon Thor.
It was a look of scrutiny, of inquiry, and even an expectation that he himself had not yet realized.
However, he did not speak to Thor first. Instead, he turned to the heroes of Earth and spoke in a solemn, formal tone.
"Warriors of Midgard, on behalf of Asgard, I thank you for your assistance."
"In recognition of your bravery, you may ask for any reward. Wealth, knowledge, or the blessing of Asgard—as long as it is within my power."
As soon as he finished speaking, Captain America Steve Rogers took a step forward, standing tall with a solemn expression.
"Your Majesty, we did not come for rewards."
"Thor is our comrade-in-arms. Helping a comrade is our duty; we do not require any compensation."
His words were righteous and resonant.
Odin nodded, not surprised by this.
However, Thor also took a step forward at this moment, breaking the solemn atmosphere.
"Father."
His voice echoed clearly through the damaged hall.
"I need a reward. I am currently lacking a suitable weapon."
A flash of surprise crossed Odin's single eye, but it quickly turned into a look of understanding.
"Very well. You may choose from Asgard's vault, or I can have the Dwarf King of Nidavellir forge a new Mjolnir for you."
This was already an extremely generous promise.
But Thor shook his head.
"No."
He looked directly at the God King and said, word for word.
"Mjolnir can no longer carry my power."
"I need a King-class weapon, stormbreaker."
"Presumptuous!" The Main Universe Thor subconsciously shouted, but then quickly shut his mouth under Odin's majestic gaze.
The air in the hall froze instantly.
stormbreaker was a weapon prepared for the next monarch of Asgard, a symbol of royal authority.
Odin was silent for a moment, and eventually, he slowly shook his head.
"No. That is something I have prepared for my child... for the Thor of this Universe."
This decision was reasonable.
"Father," Thor said calmly, "the Thor of this Universevalues Mjolnir more than his own life. Even if you gave him stormbreaker, he wouldn't use it."
He turned his gaze toward the somewhat naive version of himself from the Main Universe.
"Rather than letting that divine artifact gather dust in the vault, it is better to give it to me. One day in the future, when the Asgard of this Universe faces a crisis again, I, wielding stormbreaker, can provide help far beyond your imagination."
These words were like a stone thrown into the calm lake of Odin's heart, stirring up a thousand waves.
If Thor and Loki, with such terrifying strength, were willing to become allies of this Universe's Asgard...
No matter how you calculated it, this deal was not a loss.
Odin's grip on the Eternal Spear loosened slightly. He thought for a long time before finally letting out a long sigh.
"Fine, I agree."
He looked at Captain America and the others again and asked, "Do you... truly have no other needs?"
The group shook their heads in unison.
"Very well." Odin nodded and instructed the Main UniverseThor, "Thor, take our guests to rest. In a few days, I will personally take you to Nidavellir."
Just as everyone was preparing to leave, Thor remembered something and said to Odin, "Father, while you're at it, forge a suitable magic scepter for Loki too. He feels a bit strange with empty hands. How can a mage go without a staff?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Frigga, who was nearby, spoke up first, her voice full of doting and joy.
"Of course! My children, whatever you want, Mother will have it forged for you!"
She held Old Loki's hand, her eyes filled with the joy of regaining something lost, not caring at all about weapons.
"Come, Loki, tell Mother what you have been through all these years..."
Watching Old Loki being pulled away by Frigga, his face showing a long-unseen, child-like bewilderment, Thorsmiled and did not follow.
He turned around and followed the Main Universe Thor, leading the group toward the arranged guest rooms.
Along the way, Jane Foster and the Main Universe Thorboth looked at him with extreme curiosity, unable to help themselves from sizing him up.
Finally, the Main Universe Thor couldn't hold back and asked, "Um... your hammer, how did it... go missing?"
Thor replied casually.
"Oh, to stop Ragnarok, while fighting a bunch of monsters to the death, it was smashed."
Hearing this nonchalant answer, the Main Universe Thorsubconsciously puffed out his chest, gripped the Mjolnir at his waist, and said with a hint of youthful arrogance.
"I definitely won't be like you and let Mjolnir break!"
Thor almost laughed out loud upon hearing this.
Good grief, he had at least soloed Surtur, Fenris the Wolf, the Midgard Serpent, the Goddess of Death Hela, plus countless armies before the hammer was finally destroyed.
As for you, in the future, your sister Hela will crush your precious hammer with just one hand.
No prestige at all, little brother.
Can't even beat your own sister; you're weak as hell!
It's simply a disgrace to the majesty of Thor, the God of Thunder!
Just then, Jane Foster finally found a chance to interject. Like a scholar who had discovered a new continent, she excitedly threw out a series of questions.
"Hello, Thor... uh, other Thor. Is the Multiverse really real? Does it follow the eleven-dimensional supergravity model of M-theory? Are the fundamental physical constants of your Universe and ours consistent? Cross-Universetravel..."
"Stop, stop, stop!" Thor quickly raised his hand to interrupt her. "You should ask Tony; he's the expert in this field."
After saying that, he remembered something, looked at the Mickey Mouse still hopping around on the ground, and shrugged.
"Well, he probably can't explain your questions right now."
Then, Thor's gaze turned to Dr. Banner nearby.
"Banner, this is your forte. You know, these fancy physics concepts always give me a headache."
Dr. Banner pushed up his glasses and shook his head with a wry smile.
"I only found out today that the Multiverse is real... I don't know much about it either."
Thor had no choice but to look helplessly at the inquisitive Jane Foster.
"Fine, what do you want to know?"
Jane Foster immediately threw out a complex question about spacetime curvature and quantum foam.
Thor's head throbbed just hearing it. He didn't want to think about those brain-burning things. His eyes darted around, and he suddenly looked at the Main Universe Thor, who was still immersed in the pride of 'I will never let the hammer break.'
He grinned at Jane Foster and directly changed the subject.
"It's fine, his hammer will break later too."
He pointed at the Main Universe Thor, and then pointed at Jane.
"Then, you lift it up and become the Mighty Thor."
Chapter 68: Everyone's Journey to the Heavenly Palace
"What? You're saying my mjolnir will break in the future?!"
Before Jane could react, the Thor of the Main Universe, carrying his worn-out hammer, walked over aggressively, looking like he was about to grab Thor by the collar.
Slap!
A crisp slapping sound rang out, and the Thor of the Main Universe was sent smashing into a nearby wall like a newly fired cannonball, becoming motionless.
"What status do you have? How dare you get physical with me."
Thor looked at this hotheaded version of himself from the Main Universe and showed no mercy, giving his past self some special care from the future.
Clearly the God of Thunder, yet he forced himself to play the role of the God of Hammers; he's not even as good as that bald woman Cassandra!
"Thor!" Jane cried out in alarm and quickly ran over. She reached out, carefully checking the Main Universe Thor's breath, and breathed a sigh of relief when she found he was still breathing.
The members of the Avengers once again felt Thor's combat power very intuitively. Their Universe's Thorcouldn't even take a casual blow from the other party; the gap could not be said to be small.
"I have a question. Thor is unconscious, so who is going to take us to rest?"
Captain Carter glanced at Jane, who was trying to pull the Main Universe Thor out of the wall, then looked at Thorand asked a soul-searching question.
"That's simple. Come with me. I know Asgard all too well. Even if some details are different, they're mostly the same anyway. We'll make do."
Thor strode forward, leading the group toward the depths of the palace. Captain America Steve and Dr. Bannerworked together to pry the Main Universe Thor out, walking at the very back of the group with Jane.
"Will I also pick up Mjolnir and become Thor in the future?" Jane muttered as she walked, looking at the Main UniverseThor being supported by Captain America Steve and Dr. Banner, lost in thought.
"This entire row is where the maids, gardeners, guards, and such live. This row on the right is all empty; you can just move right in."
Thor wasn't sure if these rooms were occupied, so he simply used his spiritual sense to probe them all. As luck would have it, he happened to come across a few maids washing up. They were actually all 'white tigers' without exception; as expected of Asgard's strict selection.
The food here is truly good!
"Um... Thor, can I go out for a walk?" The youthful spirit of Quicksilver Pietro simply couldn't be suppressed. Plus, this was Asgard from norse mythology; since he finally had a chance to come here, how could he not take a good look around?
"Of course you can. Go look around if you want. Although this isn't my Asgard, as long as you don't cause any huge trouble, it'll be fine."
Thor generously agreed. Regardless of which Asgard it was, wasn't he the Prince of Asgard? The future King?
And with his current strength, it wouldn't make sense if he didn't become a king.
Maybe he could go to another Universe, find an Asgard, and rule it for fun.
After lowering his head and contemplating for a few seconds, Thor gave up on this choice. That fellow Emmawas already busy as hell just managing the Land of Nihility; if he had to manage a whole country, wouldn't that be the end of him?
Forget it, forget it...
It's too difficult. Instead of working diligently himself, it's better to find a few top-tier workhorses!
Let's have a few more top-tier workhorses like Valeria, with strong abilities and strong backgrounds!
If he had these top-tier workhorses doing the labor, allowing him to lie back, make money, get stronger, and develop his influence, he would be more than willing!
"Alright! Wanda, do you want to go for a walk together?"
Pietro looked at his sister and invited her.
Wanda didn't reply immediately upon hearing this, but instead turned to look at Thor to seek his opinion.
"Don't worry, go play with your brother, Wanda. Just as long as you don't blow this place up."
"I won't."
Wanda shook her head and said each word clearly.
"Hold on tight! Wanda, don't blink! Your brother is very fast now!"
Pietro appeared beside Wanda with a 'whoosh,' grabbed her hand, and vanished in a flash.
"Aren't you guys going for a walk?"
"Steve, Carter, I think you two must have a lot of common topics, don't you?"
Thor shifted his gaze back, looking at the several people from the Main Universe and Captain Carter's team, focusing on Captain America Steve and Captain Carter.
"You're right, Thor. This Steve is at least much more pleasant to look at than that HYDRA Steve."
After saying that, Captain Carter stepped forward, grabbed Captain America Steve's arm, and forcibly dragged him away.
"Wait! Peggy, I..."
Captain America Steve was clearly encountering this situation for the first time and was a bit unsure of how to respond.
"Don't worry, we're just catching up. I want to know your story from your Universe, and don't you want to know your story from another Universe?"
Captain Carter raised an eyebrow and smiled at Steve.
Looking at the familiar yet strange face, which wore the same confident and bright smile, Steve couldn't help but be dazed and subconsciously agreed.
"Okay..."
Once the two had walked away, Thor looked around at the remaining people and said, "Well, doesn't anyone else want to spend a wonderful afternoon like those two?"
Hawkeye Clint shook his head. "I have a wife and children. If they were here, I might consider it."
Dr. Banner also shook his head. "Betty isn't here. However, I think I can study how the physical laws here differ from Earth's. Do you want to join me, Jane?"
Jane Foster was stunned for a moment, then said with great pleasant surprise, "It would be my honor, Dr. Banner. I've studied the papers you published on Gamma Radiation Theory before..."
The two scientists chatted as they walked. Mickey MouseIron Man Tony Stark opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but still only produced the squeaking sounds of a mouse.
He could only sigh helplessly and maneuver his armor to fly out. Clearly, one of the smartest brains on Earth was also very interested in Asgard.
Thor turned to look at the remaining two Black Widows and Iron Fist Danny.
"I think cultivating in an environment like Asgard is a very good choice."
Iron Fist Danny still had an obsession with cultivating his state of mind that exceeded ordinary people.
He opened a door on his own and slipped inside.
"Well, it seems they all have their own lives. What about you two Black Widows?"
Thor looked at the last two people, completely ignoring the Main Universe Thor who was sound asleep in the hallway.
"I think we can exchange our different experiences. What do you think, Natasha from the other Universe?"
The Main Universe Natasha looked at the Natasha from the Land of Nihility and smiled.
"With pleasure." The Natasha from the Land of Nihilitystepped forward and took the arm of the Main UniverseNatasha. The two walked out chatting and laughing like intimate best friends.
"Hmm... I suddenly have a good idea..."
Thor looked at the Mjolnir that the Main Universe Thorwas clutching tightly even while unconscious, and a sudden inspiration struck his brain.
With a wave of his hand, he summoned Mjolnir into his palm. Then, the crimson Law of Reality lit up, covering the surface of Mjolnir. One could faintly see the color of the hammer constantly changing, finally flashing a brilliant shade of pink.
Chapter 69: stormbreaker Plus Version
Time flew by in a flash, and the group had already spent a full three days in the divine realm of Asgard.
The Thunder God Thor from the Main Universe slowly woke up, his eyes blearily scanning his surroundings. Recognizing his familiar bedroom, he threw off the covers and jumped down, completely unconcerned about his currently naked body.
After quickly getting dressed, he extended his right hand, forming a grasping motion in the air. A sudden whooshing sound broke the room's silence as Mjolnir instantly returned to his grasp.
However, when Main Universe Thor looked at the hammer in his hand, his expression instantly began to shift through a series of changes: first shock and surprise, then disbelief, followed by surging, overwhelming rage.
Immediately after, a shriek loud enough to rival the squeal of a New Year's pig being slaughtered echoed throughout the Asgardian palace:
"Oh! No! My mjolnir! Who did this to you?! I'll kill them!!!"
Main Universe Thor stared at the hulking, pink Meow-Meow Hammer he now held. His massive heart seemed to crack in two with an audible *snap*.
His beloved had been casually tampered with and altered!
How could he possibly endure this?!
He was the Prince of Asgard!
Thor, the God of Thunder!
The future King of Asgard!
He'd better not find out who did this, or else...
"Your Highness Thor, you're finally awake..."
A maid in palace attire, having heard the shout, hurried in anxiously. Upon seeing the pink Mjolnir in Main UniverseThor's hand, she couldn't help but let out a soft, stifled laugh.
"Who did this?! Tell me! I'll kill them!"
"Your Highness Thor, it was the other Thor from another Universe."
True to her profession, the maid quickly regained her composure and answered with a professional smile.
"Never mind. I'll go find Mother. She'll definitely have a solution!"
Upon hearing it was the other Thor who was responsible, Main Universe Thor immediately backed down. That guy had knocked him out cold with a single slap for three whole days. He couldn't afford to provoke him, but could he at least avoid him?
...
Nidavellir, home of the dwarves, the forge of divine weapons.
Led by Odin and Frigga, Thor and Old Loki arrived at this place via the Bifrost Bridge.
The moment they landed, they were met with a wave of intense heat that seemed capable of warping the very space around them.
The dwarven king, Eitri, stomped over on his massive feet. His towering three-meter frame caused the ground to tremble with each step.
"Your Majesty, My Queen, Thor and Loki from the Multiverse, please come this way."
Eitri made a welcoming gesture. Odin nodded, signaling for the two to follow as he led the way.
"Loki, have you decided what kind of weapon you want forged?" Frigga asked gently, looking at Old Loki beside her.
"I'm not entirely sure, Mother. I've grown accustomed to not using a weapon for many, many years."
Old Loki shook his head slowly. If not for Thor securing this opportunity for him, he likely wouldn't have come here at all.
"Your Highness Thor, the template for stormbreaker has long been prepared. Do you have any additional requirements?"
King Eitri inquired, turning his gaze to Thor.
"Well... to be honest, I have now mastered the power of the six Infinity Stones' Laws, along with dozens of other miscellaneous Laws. What I want is a weapon that can fully integrate my Law powers and maximize their potential."
"The power of Laws?!!!"
Upon hearing this, King Eitri was so shocked he stood frozen in place for a full three seconds. His eyes remained fixed on Thor before he sank into deep thought.
Odin also shot a surprised glance at Thor. He could indeed sense that this Thor from the Multiverse was powerful, but he never imagined the other had mastered so many Laws.
No wonder he had his sights set on a king-level weapon like stormbreaker from the start. Only a weapon of that caliber could unleash his power to its fullest extent. It was normal for him to look down on mjolnir.
Odin's gaze swept over Old Loki, who was chatting with Frigga. He had heard Frigga mention this Loki's experiences.
And according to this Old Loki, this Thor had single-handedly quelled Ragnarok. Mastering so many Laws and possessing such strength seemed perfectly normal.
It seemed his initial agreement to this request merely resulted in the loss of a single king-level weapon.
A good weapon can only exhibit its corresponding power in the hands of a truly powerful wielder. This deal was hardly a loss at all!
In fact, to a certain extent, their Asgard had profited immensely!
Eitri took a deep breath, his voice, thick and resonant as a great bell, cutting clearly through the roar of the forges:
"Your Highness, to bear the power of Laws, ordinary star-iron and Uru steel would shatter instantly. Only the Nine Realms' foremost divine metal—uru metal—and it must be the pure Uru nurtured within the heart of a neutron star, can lock in the Laws and bear their essence."
He paused, pointing towards the stellar furnace behind him, churning with molten dark-gold liquid:
"The forging method itself requires tempering within the core-fire of a neutron star, inscribing it with Asgardian All-Father runes, and then layering it with the dwarves' ancient, inherited Binding Divine Runes for reinforcement."
"A common divine weapon bears divine power;
A king-level divine weapon bears divine authority;
But what you seek, Your Highness... is to bear the Laws themselves."
Eitri's gaze was grave as he spoke, enunciating each word:
"I will hammer the uru metal one billion times, fuse it with a stellar core, then engrave it with three layers of Binding Runes, seven layers of Law-Integration Runes, and nine layers of Unification Runes, transforming the weapon itself into a 'Law Vessel'.
In this way, it will be able to contain, amplify, and channel all your Law powers. No matter how many kinds, they can all be gathered within the axe, wielded as effortlessly as your own limbs, and never shatter."
"Once this axe is complete, it will no longer be a mere divine weapon, but rather...
Your second divine authority, your seat of Laws."
Thor listened carefully to King Eitri's explanation and found it quite satisfactory. Nodding in approval, he said, "That plan sounds excellent. I think it will work. Approximately how long will the forging take?"
"Normally, forging a king-level weapon requires seven days and seven nights. However, with Your Highness's power from the Infinity Stones' Laws, it will likely only take three days. But before the forging begins, we may require Your Majesty and the Queen to bestow blessings upon stormbreaker to elevate its upper limits."
Eitri gestured for several dwarves to bring over the stormbreaker template. It landed on the ground with a heavy *clang*, producing a dull thud.
"Loki, why don't you get a king-level weapon too? Whatever ideas you have, just tell King Eitri."
Thor looked towards Old Loki.
So far, his highest-level combat partner was Old Loki. Wanda and Emma still needed time to grow. He couldn't shortchange anyone, least of all his good brother!
Especially a top-tier enforcer and workhorse like him!
As a qualified boss, he definitely had to properly equip his subordinates!
As for Odin's expression, which was currently a bit dark... what did that have to do with him?
The old man had already agreed. It wasn't like he could go back on his word now, could he?
Old Loki first glanced at Odin. Only after receiving a pained nod of permission did he voice his request.
"Eitri, I desire a staff capable of similarly bearing the power of Laws. The material must be extremely durable, capable of amplifying or maximizing the use of my magic, and it must also possess some melee combat functionality. Those are my requirements."
After a moment's thought, Old Loki stated his request.
"Your Highness Loki, may I inquire which Laws you have mastered? This will help me tailor the weapon's properties accordingly."
Eitri lifted his gaze, looking at this Old Loki, the God of Mischief, who was not particularly favored in their Universe's Asgard. A flicker of surprise passed through his eyes.
"The Law of Mischief and the Law of Energy."
Old Loki stated plainly.
"Huh?! Wait, Loki, since when did you master Laws?!"
Thor looked at Old Loki with great surprise, never expecting the other to have quietly stepped into the Single Universe Level.
The Odin-level involves utilizing Laws, but the standard for the Single Universe Level is that one must personally master at least one Law, or even multiple Laws, within a single Universe.
The Law of Energy sounded fairly normal, but what the heck was the Law of Mischief?
Does something like that even exist in Marvel?
How come this guy's leveling speed could compete with his own cheat-like pace?!
"It's simple. My lingering obsession was resolved, and the final barrier broke."
Old Loki stated this fact with his usual calm demeanor.
Was this Old Loki originally this overpowered in the story?
The good news was that his current top enforcer had evolved, and would likely remain his top enforcer for the long haul.
The bad news was that this made him, the boss, look rather unimpressive by comparison!
It seemed it was time to find an opportunity to refine all the Laws he had mastered to the same level as his command over the Law of Time.
Once he fully mastered all these Laws, what did he have to fear from mere Valeria, a mere Franklin?
Chapter 70: Weapons in Hand
After hearing Old Loki's request, the Dwarf King Eitri's rugged face showed no hint of disdain; instead, it radiated the excitement of a professional.
His massive, fan-like hands gestured in the air before him, as if he could already see the finished product.
"Trickery and Energy... interesting, a very interesting combination of laws! Hardness, magic amplification, and suitable for close combat... I understand!"
Eitri gave a heavy nod, turned toward the depths of the forge, and let out a roar that echoed through the halls of metal.
Before long, two dwarves came huffing and puffing, carrying a specially made metal box.
The box opened to reveal two pieces of metal, each as large as a dwarf's fist, lying quietly inside. They were dark all over, as if they could absorb all surrounding light, yet their surfaces shimmered faintly with starlike specks, and an indescribable sense of weight washed over everyone.
"Pure uru metal, the finest essence from the heart of a neutron star," Eitri introduced. Then, he looked solemnly at Odin and Frigga. "Your Majesty, Queen, please bless the divine metal."
Frigga stepped forward first, extending a slender finger to lightly touch one of the pieces of Uru.
A soft golden glow flowed from her fingertip, carrying the rhythm of life and magic, slowly seeping into the metal's interior.
The previously lifeless metal block seemed to have a soul injected into it, and those starlike specks began to flicker actively.
Next was Odin. He made no extra movements, simply staring at the other piece of metal with his single eye.
In the next second, a beam of golden divine power, condensed to the extreme, suddenly shot out and struck the uru metal heavily!
"Clang—!"
A chime rang out as if from the dawn of the Universe. The divine metal vibrated violently, and countless ancient Rune symbols surfaced on it—the authority and majesty belonging to the God-King.
"Alright, leave it to me!" Eitri grinned, grabbed the piece of divine metal belonging to Loki, and turned toward the stellar forge where dark-golden magma swirled.
Thor watched Eitri's retreating back and then glanced at Odin, who looked pained but was still forcing himself to maintain his God-King majesty.
This old geezer's heart is probably bleeding.
But since he agreed, he can't go back on it, right? Besides, his side helped him settle the invasion of the Dark Elves; swapping two king-class weapons for the peace of Asgardis a total steal!
He stepped forward to the forge and said to Eitri, who was about to start working, "Master Eitri, let me give you a hand. It might be a bit faster."
Thor gently snapped his fingers.
Buzz—
An invisible, pale green ripple spread out with him as the center, precisely enveloping Eitri and the entire forge.
In the sight of Odin, Frigga, and Old Loki, a bizarre scene occurred.
One moment Eitri was standing before the forge ready to swing his hammer, and the next, his entire figure turned into a blur of extreme speed. The surrounding forge fires, flying sparks, and the roar of hammering all seemed to have been fast-forwarded by billions of times. Countless afterimages overlapped crazily, finally returning to a single point in an instant.
Eitri's figure became clear again. In his hand was no longer that block of divine metal, but a magnificent staff made of dark metal and some kind of white branch spiraling together.
The shaft was a branch of the World Tree, wrapped with forged uru metal, with countless profound magical runes appearing and disappearing on the metal surface.
At the top of the staff was embedded a dazzling crystal, within which an energy storm and countless treacherous phantoms seemed to be born and extinguished.
"This... it's done already?" Frigga looked at this scene, somewhat in disbelief.
Odin did not speak, but his furrowed brows and slightly trembling beard betrayed the stormy waves in his heart.
Law of Time! This Thor has actually applied the Law of Time to such a masterful degree!
This wasn't simple acceleration; this was creating an independent time-flow zone without affecting the outside World!
This kind of micro-manipulation of laws was simply unheard of!
"Your Highness Loki, your weapon, 'Heart of Lies'." Eitrihanded over the staff. He was also a bit dazed, feeling as though he had completed one of his life's proudest works in the blink of an eye.
But he remembered that he had clearly spent two days forging it?
One could only say that the power of laws was far too broken!
Old Loki took the staff. It felt slightly heavy in his hand, and a sense of resonance perfectly aligned with his own law power arose spontaneously.
With a flick of his wrist, the staff traced an elegant and lethal arc in his hand as he spun it beautifully. The end of the staff tapped lightly on the ground, making a crisp, muffled sound.
The surrounding magical elements instantly became active, scrambling to converge toward the staff.
He could feel that his control over the Law of Energy and Law of Trickery had increased by at least thirty percent under the amplification of this staff!
"Thank you, Master Eitri," Old Loki said sincerely, stroking the shaft.
"Hahaha! It is my honor to forge such a weapon!" Eitrislapped his chest and laughed heroically, then turned to Thor with an even more fanatical expression. "Your Highness Thor, next, it's our turn!"
Thor nodded and followed Eitri to the core area of the neutron star forge.
This time, he didn't stay on the sidelines but personally participated.
When Eitri cast the uru metal blessed by Odin into the stellar core for smelting, Thor also reached out his hand.
Power, Space, Reality, Soul, Mind, Time.
Six types of law power representing the essence of the Universe transformed into six-colored ribbons in his hand, like docile threads, precisely wrapping around the red-hot divine metal.
Every strike from Eitri was accompanied by the integration of a law power.
The Law of Power gave it indestructible sharpness, the Law of Space gave it the possibility of cutting through dimensions, and the Law of Reality warped its material structure, making it transcend the mundane...
In the eyes of Odin and Frigga, Thor and Eitri had only stepped into the depths of the forge for a moment before walking out side by side.
In Thor's hand, there was now a battle-axe.
The shape of the battle-axe was not much different from the one the Main Universe Thor obtained later, but the details were infinitely more refined.
The axe blade shimmered with the deep light of the cosmic starry sky, as if it contained an entire galaxy.
The axe body was covered with golden God-King runes and silver Binding God-glyphs, complementing each other in a brilliant display of light.
The handle was made from a thick branch of the WorldTree, still bearing a few emerald-green tender leaves that radiated vibrant life.
This weapon was less a weapon and more a perfect work of art.
Suddenly, that stormbreaker vibrated slightly and left Thor's hand. Like a newborn child full of curiosity about the World, it affectionately circled Thor rapidly, with joyful sparks of electricity flashing on the blade from time to time.
An ignorant, pure consciousness echoed in Thor's heart, filled with attachment and joy for him.
A weapon spirit was born.
"My god... I... I have forged a living weapon with a Law Godhood..." Eitri watched the stormbreaker flying around Thor, trembling with excitement. He grinned, revealing a mouth full of yellow teeth. "Your Highness Thor, thank you! To have forged such a weapon in my life, I, Eitri, can die with no regrets!"
Thor glanced at the excited Dwarf King, smiled, and flipped his hand to produce a small badge, which he handed over.
The badge also bore the pattern of a World Tree.
"Take it, Master Eitri. If Nidavellir encounters any unsolvable danger in the future, crush it, and I will come."
After speaking, Thor did not linger. He raised the stormbreaker with one hand and lifted it gently upward.
Boom—!
A pillar of seven-colored light, thicker and more dazzling than the Asgard Bifrost Bridge, descended from the sky, precisely enveloping Thor, Old Loki, Odin, and Frigga.
Within the light pillar, galaxies flowed and Universes were born and destroyed; its power was far beyond what Heimdall could compare to.
In a flash of light, the four figures vanished from the spot, crossing tens of thousands of miles of starry sky to instantly return to the Heavenly Palace of Asgard.
...
At this moment, in the back garden of Asgard, a group of heroes from Earth were enjoying a rare moment of leisure.
Tony Stark, back in his human form, was animatedly discussing the differences between Asgardian physical laws and Earth's with Jane Foster and Dr. Banner, occasionally popping out technical terms that made Jane's eyes light up.
Iron Fist Danny Rand was still sitting cross-legged in meditation as always, seemingly trying to realize something different from the air of the Heavenly Palace.
Hawkeye Clint Barton was utilizing his social skills, chatting and laughing with the Natasha of the Main Universe and the Natasha of the other Universe, the atmosphere quite harmonious.
Captain America Steve Rogers was walking side-by-side with his beloved from another Universe, Captain Carter. The two spoke in low voices, making up for lost time.
As for Pietro, god knows where he had run off to play, relying on his Mach 20 speed.
Only Wanda sat quietly alone on a stone bench in the corner, gazing at the magnificent Asgardian architecture in the distance, lost in thought.
Just then, space vibrated slightly, and the figures of Thorand Old Loki appeared out of thin air in the center of the garden.
Thor, carrying the brand-new stormbreaker on his shoulder, looked around and asked, "Guys, how was the fun? It's about time to head back, isn't it?"
Tony Stark was about to habitually retort, but the humiliating scene of being turned into Mickey Mouse by Old Loki and squeaking on the ground flashed through his mind, making him shudder.
He immediately swapped to a "you call the shots" expression and raised his hand.
"Alright, whatever you say, Point Break."
"I really don't want to turn into Mickey Mouse again."
Chapter 71: Taking the Avengers to Watch the Avengers
Thor quickly bid farewell to Odin with the group, noting that his team now had two more members: the Main Universe's Thunder God Thor and the God of MischiefLoki.
It was clear that the Old Geezer Odin wanted his children to learn from him and Old Loki, but he and Old Loki didn't have that much free time to teach these two overgrown babies.
Once they returned to Earth, he could just dump them on the Avengers; he needed to report to the Ancient One, and Wanda had finally come around—it was time for her to enroll.
"Mother, and Old Geezer! I'll bring Loki back to visit often! Bye-bye!"
Thor selectively ignored Odin's darkening face and waved to Frigga.
"Alright, my child. I know you have things you want to do. Go ahead. If you're tired, come back and visit. I am always here."
Frigga looked at the now incredibly powerful Thor and Old Loki. Without any sentimentality, she simply nodded with a smile, encouraging and supporting them like any ordinary parent sending their children on a long journey.
"Alright, Mother, we will."
Old Loki finally put down his thermos and lightly waved the Heart of Lies in his hand, giving his promise.
Thor waited for Old Loki to finish his farewell before manipulating the Law of Space, bringing everyone along as they vanished and reappeared inside the Avengers Tower.
"Oh! Tony! Where have you been? You've been gone for days!"
As soon as everyone landed, the voice of Pepper Pottsrang in their ears.
She was initially shocked to see a large group of people suddenly appear, then she hurried over to Iron Man TonyStark's side, her face full of concern.
"Oh, I'm fine, Pepper. I just went to Asgard for a bit as a guest and helped Thor with some trouble along the way."
Looking at the woman whose eyes were filled only with him, Tony's tone couldn't help but soften.
"Really? Are you sure you didn't sneak off to do something ridiculous again?"
Pepper believed most of it, but she still looked at Tony with some suspicion.
"Yes, Tony did indeed go to Asgard with us to help."
Captain America Steve stepped forward to explain for Tony.
"Old Popsicle, I didn't expect you to have a reliable day."
Tony raised an eyebrow, then spread his arms back. His armor automatically detached and, guided by Jarvis, flew into the armory.
Thor looked at the large group of people and suddenly had another good idea. What could be more interesting than taking the Avengers to watch their own future movies?
As for the strayed Dr. Banner and Iron Man Tony, those were just minor changes. Plus, he now possessed the Law of Reality—what 3D projection movie could compare to this kind of cheated enjoyment?
"Alright, everyone, eyes on me. Just in case I'm not in the Main Universe and you guys end up killing yourselves, I've decided to show you my Universe's experiences related to me as a movie."
"Especially you, Muggle Tony, and Dr. Banner. You two are quite rare variables in the Multiverse. Now, let's watch a movie together!"
Snap!
Thor casually snapped his fingers. The top floor of the Avengers Tower instantly went dark, and everyone was pulled back by an inexplicable force, pressed firmly into suddenly appearing seats.
Beside each person's seat was a small dining table with their favorite foods laid out.
As for how Thor knew so clearly?
He had learned it from Emma, of course!
Just a quick peek into their minds, no big deal. He wanted to give everyone present a truly unforgettable viewing experience.
"Thor, what is this?"
Captain America Steve made a token effort to resist, but finding he couldn't break free, he looked at Thor standing in front and asked.
"Don't worry, I'm just letting you watch a movie. I've even accelerated time; by the time you finish these movies, not a second will have passed outside."
Thor explained patiently, then began searching his mind for memories of Marvel movies and TV shows.
Let's see... should we watch Captain Marvel first, or Captain America?
Forget it, let's go with Captain America. Captain Marvelfeels like her memories have been compromised; she can't even be called an Earthling. The Skrull crisis she and the Motherfucker Man cooked up is enough to prove what kind of character they have.
"It's decided! The first movie we're watching is Captain America!"
"Pfft... Old Popsicle, this Thor from another Universe really knows you well!"
Tony was the first to burst out laughing upon hearing the name.
Everyone else present was the same, though some were more restrained.
"Tony!"
Captain America Steve gave Tony an annoyed glare, then focused intently on the movie.
"Jarvis!"
"I'm here, sir."
"Record Captain America's personal growth history so I can mock him properly later."
"Sir, mocking others and recording their dark history without permission is unethical and..."
"Just do it!"
"Yes, sir!"
Thor saw that everyone had quieted down, with only the occasional sound of chewing. He retreated to a corner to Master and refine his power over the laws.
How could an older brother be weaker than his younger brother?!
Bring on the cheats!
While Thor was focused on his cultivation, the others went from a lighthearted mood to a gradually solemn one.
Unknowingly, they reached the climax of Avengers 2. They saw the city of Sokovia rise into the sky, saw the countless Ultron robots swarming like locusts, and saw the moment Quicksilver Pietro sacrificed himself to save Hawkeye and a child.
Everyone's eyes instantly snapped toward Tony Stark.
Before anyone could question him, Tony waved his hand and said solemnly, "We'll argue after we're done watching. Don't interrupt Jarvis's data recording!"
Rather than saying these scenes Thor created were like a movie, it was more like the future had been manifested.
He'd recently had the inkling of an idea and planned to go to a HYDRA Base to retrieve the Mind Stone; it was strikingly similar to the opening scene of this movie.
Seeing her brother die tragically at Ultron's hands, Wandasubconsciously projected herself onto the version of herself in the movie. Her Chaos Magic began to stir restlessly, causing the movie to flicker.
"Wanda, calm your breath and focus. Follow my steps. You are the Master of this power, not its slave."
Thor's voice suddenly appeared in Wanda's mind, suppressing the potentially rampaging Chaos Magic.
"Alright, I'll listen to you. These aren't just movies, are they? Is this my future?"
Wanda calmed her emotions and communicated with Thorin her mind.
"What I'm showing you is just one possibility for your future. The Multiverse is vast, like grains of sand in a desert. Every choice creates a different branch. Besides, I've already strengthened Pietro. That possibility has been snuffed out by me, hasn't it?"
