Chapter 25 - Ch: 21-30

Chapter 21: The vampire was attacked while having a party

Firth Tower.

From the outside, this was an entertainment complex. The first floor housed nightclubs and bars, the second floor was KTV, and the third and fourth floors were clubs.

Further up were private clubs, a very popular industry recently. They were convenient for networking or accumulating wealth.

Usually, such buildings could only be established with certain connections, or they were fronts for some senator or important figure.

In the building across the street, Steve looked through binoculars and saw a party on the middle floors. He had to admit, those Vampires really knew how to party; these group activities were off the charts.

Coincidentally, Firth's confidant, Quinn, the leader who was hunted last time, was also among them, and he even ordered two girls!

Blade watched from the side, a bit speechless, "Captain, shall we go?"

"Of course. Let's try the newly released gliders. We'll glide over from here for a precision strike. Are you up for it?" Steve put down his binoculars. There wasn't even one decent Vampire.

"What's there to be afraid of?" Blade raised an eyebrow, feeling a little thrill.

The two equipped their gliders and quickly leaped from the rooftop.

The gliders unfurled, swooping down from the top floor.

A moment later, Steve landed perfectly, using his shield to collide with a dancing Vampire, perfectly dissipating the force.

In an instant, these Vampires were dumbfounded. What was happening?

They saw a tall, strong man descend from the sky, then send a companion flying, falling from a great height.

Quinn immediately recognized Steve; it was the guy who called himself Captain America last time!

"Everyone, attack! Kill him, and drain his blood dry!"

Enemies meeting again made their eyes red with fury. Quinn even thought about draining Steve's blood; wouldn't he become a Super Soldier then?

Facing the swarming Vampires, Steve merely smiled faintly and pulled out a powerful ultraviolet flashlight.

Sizzle!

"Ah!"

The Vampires hit by the light immediately screamed and recoiled, their bodies eerily combusting.

They had no resistance whatsoever against ultraviolet light, especially such high-powered ultraviolet flashlights, which could take their lives!

Seeing Steve pull out the flashlight, the Vampires immediately stopped in their tracks. No one dared to go first, fearing being incinerated!

Quinn was furious. He roared, urging his subordinates forward, "Go! He's only one person, you won't die! Drink his blood, and you'll become stronger!"

At this moment, Blade also descended, slashing with his enchanted katana, which directly incinerated the Vampireinto ashes.

Professionals were truly strong against Vampires!

Steve also felt the flashlight's killing power was a bit slow, so he put it away and placed his shield on his back.

He clenched his fists and charged forward. In critical moments, it still came down to Qigong!

A current of air filled his hands, and he took down one Vampire with each punch.

They melted upon contact, then exploded!

The two killing gods charged towards Quinn from left and right. Then he would know where Firth was.

"Stop them! Quickly, stop them!" Quinn, seeing this, was scared out of his wits. This was truly hell, terrifying the dead!

If Blade was hunting him, that would be understandable; they were old rivals.

But he had no feud with Captain America, so why was he also hunting him?

A large number of Vampires gritted their teeth and charged forward. With so many of them, they could pile up and kill these two.

The idea was grand, but reality was harsh.

As his subordinate Vampires screamed and died one by one, Quinn hastily pushed away the two female Vampires beside him and turned to run away.

Seeing this, the two female Vampires winked at Captain America while continuing to approach.

Men? Don't they all like seductive hussies like them?

Once the opponent couldn't resist and came closer out of pity, they would seize the opportunity to bite his neck!

Unfortunately, Steve wasn't interested in public transport. His girlfriend was also much prettier than them. Faced with the approaching Vampire girls, he gave them two solid punches!

Bang!

The heads of the two Vampire girls exploded with one punch, and their bodies fell straight backward!

Seeing more and more Vampires being killed, the remaining Vampires also screamed and ran away.

These were not the vicious Vampires they were when facing ordinary people; these were clearly helpless women encountering thugs!

Upstairs.

Firth had just bitten to death a Police officer who came to tip him off. He had already obtained information on how to sacrifice a Vampire Elder to strengthen himself.

This Police officer was a corrupt cop he had bribed, who always came to tip him off when something happened.

Recently, he had gambled away everything and came to him again for money. As a result, he touched a nerve and was directly bitten to death.

"My Lord, it's bad! Blade and Captain America have attacked! They are slaughtering our brethren downstairs!" Quinn scrambled over, covered in sweat and grime, looking utterly terrified.

Slap!

Quinn was slapped away, crashing through the wall.

Firth's pale face showed a hint of impatience, "Then take people and kill them! Show some courage, you useless piece of trash! I've saved you so many times, not so you can just scream and cry!"

Quinn was burned into a cripple last time and only recovered after returning and consuming a large amount of blood.

It was only because Firth was wealthy and had enough blood; otherwise, if a regular Vampire was severely injured, they would have no blood to recover from their injuries and could only wait to die.

His mission was at a critical juncture and absolutely could not go wrong.

So Firth took his girlfriend, Mercury, and went down in another elevator. Once he succeeded in the sacrifice and gained supreme power, it would be time for ordinary people to tremble.

Clang!

A shield flew in, knocking Firth away. The laptop fell to the ground, containing the decrypted information!

Mercury, who was about to step forward and retrieve the computer, looked down and reached out, but she saw a military boot, then looked up and saw a handsome man.

Bang!

The next second, her head was blown off!

"Damn it!" Firth didn't have time to retrieve the computer and quickly pressed the elevator button to escape. He didn't even care that his girlfriend was killed.

At this moment, the special forces led by HYDRA member Crossbones also began to attack from downstairs, eliminating Vampires with specialized bullets.

Blade rushed over with his katana, and seeing Mercury's headless corpse, he said with some surprise, "I thought you'd spare her life; she was quite decent!"

"I said I'm not interested in public transport, and look at her stats; you can tell she's a syphilis patient at a glance. Do you want to try?" Steve was indifferent; he had no interest in such trash.

Trying to find a pure and beautiful woman among Vampires was truly no easier than panning for gold in a cesspit!

Traditional Captain: Eradicating evil!

New Age Captain: Slacking off at work!

Chapter 22 If it weren't for the Super Soldier Serum, I would have suffered kidney failure

Turning back to Quinn, the small leader had already had his limbs severed.

Such severe injuries would have been unbearable for an ordinary person. Yet, Quinn was still screaming hysterically, filled with extreme fear, using it to mask his inner terror.

Steve saw that the computer was broken, so he put it away. These were all evidence and merits!

"Captain!" Crossbones walked over, gun in hand, awaiting orders.

"Leave no Vampire alive, kill them all!" Steve waved his hand, then walked to the wine cabinet to make a selection.

Blade glanced at the special forces still hunting Vampires, then looked at Captain America, "Steve, what about us?"

"I'll drink and direct the battle, you continue to hunt Vampires. As a Vampire Hunter, you can't drink." Steveopened a decent bottle of red wine and poured himself a glass.

This looked like nothing but slacking off!

Blade's forehead was covered in black lines; he had lost count of how many times he had been left speechless.

We're working ourselves to death, and you're drinking and enjoying yourself?

No, you're the Captain! You should be leading us into battle, how can you be so degenerate!

Seeming to understand his confusion, Steve patted his shoulder, "Do you know what's most important in war?"

Blade shook his head. He knew nothing, only that the Captain was slacking off!

Steve sighed, and said with a solemn expression, "It's the reserve team!"

"Back then, the regiment my friend was in was defeated and captured precisely because there was no reserve team to support them, which is why they were defeated!"

"Now I am the reserve team, ready to support you at any time, and I can also tell you about enemy situations. If there's an ambush, it can be avoided, rather than us all charging in blindly and falling into a trap together. Do you understand now?"

These words were spoken with righteous indignation, irrefutable, and made so much sense!

But Blade always felt the Captain was slacking, he just had no proof. "Alright, I'll go hunt Vampires."

"That's the spirit, go on, I'm behind you, your most solid rear guard!" Steve nodded, very satisfied. What good workhorses! He needed these workhorses!

His gaze turned to Crossbones. Hey, HYDRA Agents were all excellent workhorses!

As soon as he thought of HYDRA, Steve couldn't help but stroke his chin and ponder.

"HYDRA's assets are all over the World, and their intelligence is first-class. What if I impersonated a HYDRA leader?"

Hiss! This idea really could work!

Firstly, he was from World War II, frozen for seventy years, so no one knew about his past. Even his struggle with Red Skull could be understood as a difference in ideology; just brand Red Skull as a heretic and that's it!

HYDRA has many capable people, and many beautiful women!

Many assets, much wealth! Everything is plentiful!

Instead of benefiting S.H.I.E.L.D. and others, it might as well be him!

HYDRA Captain! Assemble!

At this moment, Steve found his life's goal and meaning! He must occupy the magpie's nest!

And he could still earn a good reputation for eliminating harm for the people and upholding justice! This was a worthwhile deal!

Half an hour later, other Agents came for the handover.

Steve led his people back to S.H.I.I.E.L.D. and handed the computer he got from Firth to Hill.

"It has Firth's plan on it, but the computer is broken."

"Small matter, I'll handle it, my dear, you've worked hard." There was no one else in the office, and Hill looked at her husband with tender affection.

Her tight uniform accentuated her graceful figure, her skin was as fair as jade, distinct features formed a beautiful and charming face, and her straight, long, beautiful legs, paired with a pair of tall Military boots, added to her heroic and spirited aura.

"Tired?" Hill blinked, and deliberately locked the office door.

As Hill squatted down, Steve gasped.

--

In the evening, Steve visited the recuperating Tony.

In the underground laboratory, Tony was using 3D holographic imaging to build his new Iron Man Suit. Ethanwas helping him, and progress was very encouraging at this time.

"Preparing for the first test flight, Ethan, record the video well."

Tony was wearing simple armor for testing, with only his hands and feet covered by an endoskeleton armor, without the protection of an exoskeleton, it was purely a test machine.

Steve watched the show with champagne in hand.

"Three, two, one!"

Bang!

Tony flew backward, doing a stylish backflip, and landed on the expensive Maserati's hood in a face-plant.

"Damn it, too much force, lower the output strategy a bit."

This scene was hilarious, but Tony couldn't laugh. He found inspiration and began testing how to fly.

This scene was identical to the movie, gradually increasing the strategy to find the balance point and get used to flying.

To be fair, setting aside his cynical and rebellious personality, a focused Tony was worthy of being called a genius. Various problems during the experiment were recorded in detail.

No wonder he could build the Iron Man Suit and become Iron Man; besides his talent, he also had an unconstrained mind.

After a lot of effort, Tony finally disassembled the armor with Ethan's help.

"Why do you have time to come see me? Weren't you going to cause trouble for Vampires? How was it, did you meet any beautiful Vampires?"

Steve shook his head, downing the champagne, "No, I want you to build me a retractable glider."

"A glider? Easy, I have blueprints on my computer, pick one yourself."

Allowing Steve to look at his computer was already a deep trust. Even Vice President Obama didn't have this privilege, and neither did Rhodes.

Steve had used S.H.I.E.L.D.'s paragliders, but they felt too stiff. If he could have something retractable and foldable, similar to Falcon's wings, that would be even better.

The Military could build it; after all, Falcon was a dedicated test personnel for the Military.

But Steve didn't want to go to the Military, nor did he have connections with them. Clearly, approaching Tony, the genius, was more suitable and more comfortable.

"I also want to design an electromagnetic attachment device for my shield, so it's easier to retrieve." Steveadded another request, taking advantage of their good relationship to ask for more.

Workhorses are meant to be used; if not used now, they become obsolete.

"Easy, a piece of cake, what else?" Tony was extra generous because of the good progress on the Iron Man Suit.

"Nothing else, that's all for now." Steve had just finished speaking when he received a call from Sharon, asking him to stay at her apartment overnight so they could visit her aunt Peggy together tomorrow.

The niece snatched the man her aunt admired; how is this plot somewhat incomprehensible?

"I bought your favorite black stockings and red peep-toe high heels!"

Seeing this message, Steve was immediately controlled by his little head. Having just been released once by Hill, he instantly transformed from a sage back into Ximen Qing!

Chapter 23 Peggy Carter: My niece is yellow-haired

New York University Medical Center.

With a rosy blush still on her pretty face from their intimate moments, Sharon looked radiant, her arm linked with her boyfriend's. Pushing open the ward door, they saw a frail old woman lying inside, her skin as wrinkled as tree bark; aging was inevitable, and beauty would fade with it.

"Aunt, I've come to see you, and Steve too!" Sharon went over, picked up the kettle, and poured her aunt some Water.

"Steve!" The elderly Peggy's eyes widened; she couldn't believe Steve was still alive!

"You're still alive!"

Peggy's tone was very excited. Seeing a comrade from seventy years ago, a former object of affection, was incredibly thrilling.

But Steve was still so young, while she was already old and nearing her grave!

Steve looked at the table, where a family photo was displayed. It was a family photo of Peggy, her husband, and their two children, a boy and a girl.

When he watched the movie back then, he always wondered who Peggy's husband was. Avengers 4 gave a relatively suitable ending, but for his future self to travel back and cuckold himself, wasn't that ridiculous!

The moment he saw the photo, Steve remembered. This was also a member of the original 107th unit, one he had saved.

"Those are my husband and children," Peggy explained when Steve remained silent.

"Steve, don't be so stiff, okay? Aunt, Steve and I are together now, he's my boyfriend." Sharon linked her arm with her boyfriend's, smiling brightly, her face filled with happiness.

Peggy was dumbfounded. My niece and the object of my affection are together?

My niece cuckolded me?

My Agent niece is actually a home-wrecker?

In that instant, Peggy was utterly bewildered. She opened her mouth but didn't know what to say; this was just too shocking!

Steve's return, coupled with being cuckolded by her niece. Under this double shock, Peggy fainted, almost being sent off directly!

"Doctor! The patient has fainted, quickly come and help." Steve immediately pressed the call button; he was only here because Sharon asked him to be.

And there was something else, he vaguely felt a difference.

If there could be two Gamoras, why couldn't there be two Peggys? Perhaps the other party was Captain Carter from the What If… series?

If it was the Up and Down Captain from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, well, that would be acceptable too.

Sharon walked over with some concern, linking her arm with her boyfriend's for comfort, "Steve, Aunt will be alright, won't she? Are you feeling nostalgic? It's okay, I'll always be with you!"

Listening to this, why did it sound so… manipulative?

And this was a high-level green tea!

Hiss! He really couldn't underestimate her. The affinity halo was part of it, and the soulmate influence was also part of it, but they were still themselves; they wouldn't turn into brainless stupid women.

"I'm fine, I'm just curious who your aunt's husband is. Oh, by the way, wife, I have a plan. I'm going to make a movie about my past deeds, and you'll be the female lead." Steve excitedly described his movie plan.

Basically, it was a direct adaptation of the Captain America: The First Avenger plot. He wasn't making a movie for money, but for fame.

Fame was a good thing, and with the affinity halo, he hadn't encountered anyone specifically targeting him.

Blade was hunted by Vampires every few days, while Captain America, the instigator, lived a carefree life, juggling three women. There was no harm without comparison.

"Hmm, that sounds possible. You might want to ask Pepper about this; she can help you more." Sharonblinked; she wasn't jealous, this was genuine advice.

What was fame?

A cold and aloof Director like Hill was easily won over; this was the result of a good reputation.

Sharon became a fan because she was attracted by Captain America's reputation. With a good first impression, meeting the Zhenren (Immortal) naturally led to things falling into place.

"Okay, should we wait here for Peggy to wake up?" Stevewanted to go find Pepper now. His girlfriend had become a Vice President, and he was forced to be a kept man again.

"I'll wait; you go do your business." Sharon leaned in and gave him a kiss, her eyes full of tenderness, "Remember to come back to me tonight!"

Hiss! High-level green tea often appeared in the guise of simple thoughtfulness!

After leaving the room, Steve was about to summon his motorcycle when he felt something was off.

A feeling of being watched made him very uncomfortable. He looked left and right and saw a hooded man in the distance staring at him!

Wrapped up so tightly in broad daylight, and a grown man wearing sunscreen?

"Wait! Wrapped up, sunscreen! This is a Vampire!" Steveinstantly realized he was being targeted by a Vampire!

Boom!

Steve pulled out a tarp, creating a diversion with a magic trick, and summoned his motorcycle.

After the last modification, the motorcycle became more robust, and the metal material was upgraded. In addition, a liquid nitrogen accelerator and a pair of gliders were added for stable gliding and landing from high places.

A button was also added to the handlebar, and the front of the motorcycle was equipped with a machine gun, a standard assault rifle, for combat.

And his left hand also had a device that could eject a metal frame from the front of the motorcycle, knocking away vehicles blocking his path.

This upgrade brought more convenience, making pursuit easier.

As Steve rode his motorcycle forward, the Vampirestopped pretending and quickly ran backward, even pushing off the wall twice to climb up.

Steve whipped his shield, knocking the Vampire down halfway up the wall.

Below, another motorcycle rushed over, catching the falling Vampire, and sped off towards the outskirts without looking back.

Steve retrieved his shield, and the surrounding pedestrians took out their phones to photograph him.

"So cool! Dude, that move was awesome!"

"Wait, isn't that Captain America?"

"What Captain America? Is that a band?"

Steve was a bit helpless. He got on his motorcycle, "Everyone, move aside, I'm pursuing a criminal to protect your lives."

The beautiful blonde women reluctantly watched Steveleave. What a handsome man!

His bulging muscles provided such a sense of security; even his shirt couldn't hide that vigorous masculine charm!

The two motorcycles chased each other, weaving nimbly through the dense traffic.

While chasing, he called Hill.

"Hello, husband, missing me?" It was hard to imagine Hillsaying such tender words, a stark contrast to her usual ice queen image.

If S.H.I.E.L.D. employees saw this, they might think the Sun had risen from the west!

Indeed!

Iron trees blossoming, icebergs melting!

Chapter 24 Vampire Princess Nyssa

"I encountered Vampires tracking me, and now I'm tracking them back. Just help me deal with the traffic violations." Steve had run countless red lights by now, and it was lucky he hadn't gotten into an accident.

Hill leaned back, picked up her coffee, and watched Steve's road chase, constantly monitoring her husband's situation.

"I'll handle it. It's just running red lights, not going to a red-light district. It's a small matter."

Uh, as expected of the Deputy Director, he certainly knows how to talk!

If Steve had really gone to a red-light district, Hillwouldn't have been so easy to talk to.

She wasn't afraid of him having fun, only of him getting sick!

Boom!

A Rocket flew from a distance, and Steve dodged the projectile, but the car next to him was out of luck!

Several consecutive projectiles went off, seemingly not targeting Steve, but deliberately causing explosions near him. As long as innocent passersby could be blown up, that would be considered a success!

A bald Vampire was filming with a camera, capturing the scene of Steve pursuing criminals and then causing civilian casualties.

Ahead, a seductive female Vampire, with neat short hair, idly fiddled with her nails, silently watching Steve drive away. She licked her red lips, her eyes filled with the excitement of seeing prey.

"Is it all filmed?" The female Vampire's voice was cold and authoritative.

"It's filmed." The bald Vampire shivered. He didn't dare to look at the woman in front of him; she was a viper! Even for Vampires, she was a terrifying existence.

"Make a copy and send it to Horn Daily, say it's an exposé, that the so-called Captain America might be a criminal!" Danica flicked her crimson nails, her previously excited smile instantly turning cold and disdainful! (Blade3)

This clearly looked like a conspiracy! A conspiracy against Captain America. If journalism is played well, even a hero can be turned into a despised criminal!

And Jameson, the owner of Horn Daily, was precisely such a shrewd businessman who valued genuine material but loved to twist facts and create hype for profit!

As Spider-Man's number one anti-fan, much of Spider-Man's fame was likely due to him!

--

Steve tracked the group all the way to the outskirts, where they drove into an abandoned factory.

This was clearly an ambush!

He arrived at the gate, observed the interior, and confirmed no one was there. He pressed a button, and machine guns rose, sweeping the factory with a barrage of bullets!

"Ah!"

The ambushing Vampires immediately screamed in agony. Although they wouldn't die, it really hurt!

And it was unclear if Steve was doing it on purpose, but he aimed low! Vampires were also once human, and the pain of getting hit there nearly sent them to their demise!

The Vampire leader spat in annoyance, "How vulgar!"

Swish!

With that, she drew her long sword and, with graceful movements, leaped from a ten-meter-high platform, striking at Captain America.

With a wipe of his oilcloth, he put away his motorcycle.

Steve raised his shield to block, and after absorbing the opponent's force with his shield, he forcefully shook her arm away, then grabbed her other hand to prevent her escape.

He raised his knee and kicked out like lightning.

Bang!

The Vampire leader let out a muffled groan, and it was a woman's voice!

Steve was a bit surprised, finding her somewhat familiar. He then moved behind her, twisted her arm, and restrained her with standard grappling techniques.

He pulled down her mask, revealing a beautiful and radiant face.

"Who are you?"

"Don't misunderstand, Captain, we mean no harm. My name is Nissa, and as you can see, I am a Vampire. I'm here to seek your cooperation."

Nissa was incredibly shocked in her heart; she was, after all, a top warrior in her kingdom.

Fighting ten at once was more than enough for her!

Coupled with the traits of a pure-blood Vampire, possessing impressive strength, swift speed, and endurance, this was why she could command an elite assault team.

Yet, despite being such an excellent Vampire warrior, she was captured in a single encounter!

Capturing someone alive was several times harder than defeating them!

"Have your subordinates come out, and I can talk to you." Steve vigilantly watched the abandoned factory warehouse.

Nissa uncomfortably twisted her waist, a slight blush rising on her pretty, fair cheeks, "Okay, can you release me? You're pressing against me!"

Pressing against her?

Uh, alright.

Steve shook his head, refusing the request, and instead held her even tighter, "No, have them come out. Tell me what you're here for?"

Nissa, who had never been intimate with a man, felt very shy, followed by a surge of indignation. The Captain was too shameless!

"We were originally here to assassinate Blade, but now the Council Elder has gone missing, and we suspect a traitor is involved. Furthermore, we, like you, have a common enemy."

Nissa's face was red, quickly spreading to her ears, which made her look even more beautiful and charming.

"Cooperate with you? What's in it for me?" Steve didn't refuse; who he cooperated with didn't matter.

Nissa sensed the other party's power; his capital was truly substantial!

"We can ensure Vampires and humans coexist peacefully, as it has been for thousands of years. This will also benefit you."

Empty promises?

Five Vampires emerged from the warehouse, all elites.

Four men and one woman, including a Vampire warrior who strongly resembled Donnie Yen. (Blade 2)

"Don't move, I'm negotiating with the Captain." Nissastopped her subordinates, though she felt this position was humiliating.

Her right hand was tied behind her back, causing her to unconsciously lean forward, which in turn made her backside stick out. It looked somewhat shameful, and she swore that after returning, she would also practice grappling techniques to let Steve experience this feeling!

"Not interested!" Steve suddenly released Nissa, pushing her away.

Looking at Steve's 'capital,' the Vampires fell silent.

Are you kidding us?! Do you think we don't know you put a soda can in your pants?! Who are you trying to scare?!

Only the female Vampire's eyes lit up. As expected of Captain America, America's perky butt!

"You'll think carefully about the terms of the deal before talking to me. If you try to get something for nothing again, next time I won't let you off so easily!"

Steve put away his shield and, as if by magic, summoned his motorcycle.

He twisted the throttle, accelerated, and sped off into the distance, leaving everyone behind.

Nissa shook her arm, frowning as she watched Captain America's retreating figure.

"Princess, what do we do now?"

"Let's go back first and find out the whereabouts of that traitor, Firth!" Nissa snorted coldly. She felt it was necessary to go back and discuss a strategy with her father.

Nissa's father was the King of the Vampire Kingdom, generally equivalent to the Grand Elder.

He could also be called King; his status was extremely high, ruling all Vampires in the United States.

As his daughter, Nissa was naturally a Princess!

Chapter 25 Green Goblin: Doing business with me and expecting to get it for free?

Vampires have existed for thousands of years, ruled by kingdoms and councils.

Due to changes in the World's landscape, some also migrated from Europe to the United States.

Nissa's father is the most powerful Vampire in this region; his age is unknown.

He controls immeasurable wealth and possesses several elite Vampire guard squads.

Trained according to human special forces and equipped with firearms, these guards, with their stronger Vampirephysique, have achieved numerous Military successes.

It was after receiving a distress call from the VampireCouncil that Nissa brought her guards to assassinate Blade.

Ordinary Vampires are the foundation, the workhorses, responsible for generating income and performing low-level jobs.

Blade has been hunting Vampires, which is akin to cutting off their livelihood, like killing their parents!

It's not surprising, even reasonable, that he's on the assassination list.

However, due to Captain America's awakening and his replacement by a transmigrator, a slight deviation occurred!

--

Underneath a large detached Villa on the outskirts of New York.

Norman (Green Goblin, Spider-Man 1) led scientists in assembling a massive, custom-ordered instrument.

If it weren't for the fact that the client was a long-standing customer and paid in full, he wouldn't have come in person.

For the sake of money, he had to make the trip!

"Firth, your instrument has been assembled, and the experiment was successful.

If you have another order next time, give it to me, and I'll give you a discount."

Norman extended his hand warmly; how could he not be enthusiastic for such a big client!

Because Osborn Group is dedicated to researching human physical enhancement serums, its original capital chain was already very tight.

The board of directors had protested to him more than once, but Norman didn't want to give up.

He had already invested two-thirds of his assets into research, and with completion in sight, abandoning it now would mean all that money went down the drain.

The massive instrument before him was for Firth to perform a blood god sacrifice, his only way to grow stronger.

Those Elders of the Council were too cowardly, even tolerating Blade's repeated provocations.

They could tolerate it, but Firth could not!

After serving the Council for so many years, when trouble arose, he was the first to be held accountable, blamed for his blind expansion that led to Blade targeting him.

Vampires have survived unnoticed until now by coexisting with humans, silently accumulating astonishing wealth.

Those in power dislike subordinates they can't control, while ambitious subordinates seek to rise.

Moreover, Council members are only allowed to be pure-blooded Vampires, and Firth is merely a mixed-blood Vampire, transformed after being bitten.

This immediately blocked his path; his upward mobility was dead-ended.

What to do?

Then kill the superior and take his place!

In the period before Captain America's awakening, Firthhad been instructing his Vampire subordinates to expand blindly, biting ordinary people and transforming them into Vampires to strengthen his forces.

If bitten ordinary people didn't want to die, they could only go along with it, which is also why Firth's power continued to grow.

There was another reason unmentioned: Firth couldn't defeat Blade.

Now, with his position and life at stake, he had no choice but to rebel.

"Certainly, certainly, haha, I'll see you out."

Firth's eyes flickered as he considered whether to eliminate Norman to prevent information leakage.

"Haha, no need for such trouble, you're too kind.

I still need to go back and continue my experiments; the Military's orders are pressing.

General Slocum transferred from the Marine Corps to procurement, and he has a very strong background."

Norman was also a shrewd man and immediately saw Firth's ill intentions.

His words revealed his connection with the Military, warning the other party not to act recklessly, or the consequence of provoking the Military would be liquidation!

In those days, the Military's power was not made of paper; it truly possessed a vast fleet and Military might capable of colonizing the entire World.

Firth laughed heartily and personally saw Norman out of the Villa, "Then I wish you early success, and I hope we can cooperate again next time."

He wasn't stupid; he already had enough headaches from recently provoking the Police and S.H.I.E.L.D.

All of this was to create chaos, to give those high-and-mighty Vampire Elders a headache.

He could then take advantage of the confusion to trick the Elders into coming for the blood sacrifice!

After seeing Norman off, Firth's smile grew cold, and his eyes were very displeased.

At this moment, his subordinate Quinn walked over.

He had miraculously escaped the previous chase, albeit with broken limbs.

Fortunately, with enough blood to consume, his limbs regrew, though he couldn't fight and was still very fragile.

"Boss, Princess Nissa has appeared in New York with her people, and it seems they're up to no good.

They fought Captain America and were eventually released without incident."

Quinn's fear of Captain America was even greater than that of Blade.

Blade merely killed people, but Captain America was different; he delivered one-punch headshots, and his identity and background were stronger.

If Blade was a gang member who could only fight alone, Captain America was an official, a war hero, who could easily call for backup.

Even the Police had to obey his command, and going up against such a tough guy was not a good idea.

It was fine not to mention Captain America, but as soon as Captain America was mentioned, Firth's eyes turned red!

His girlfriend of many years was brutally headshot by Captain America right in front of him.

Such an injury would kill even a pure-blooded Vampire.

The hatred for killing his wife was irreconcilable!

One day, Firth would twist off Captain America's head to mourn his girlfriend!

"Nissa? Hmph, ignore her.

Find someone to leak information about her existence to Blade.

Isn't she very capable of fighting? Then let the professional deal with her."

Firth was using someone else's hand to kill, and his plan was very clever.

Blade specifically hunts Vampires; Nissa is a princess, but she is also a Vampire.

When a Vampire hunter encounters a Vampire, whether you're a princess or a commoner, he kills you without discussion!

"Boss, your move is truly brilliant, I'll go immediately!"

Quinn immediately gave a thumbs-up, flattering him without reservation.

"Get lost.

If you mess this up again, I'll kill you.

There's no use keeping a waste like you."

Firth would not allow his subordinates to fail again and again; failed waste had no right to live!

"Yes, Boss!"

Firth turned to look at the massive instrument, a cruel smile appearing on his pale face, his eyes growing increasingly wild and excited.

As long as he tricked the twelve pure-blood VampireElders over, extracted their blood, and added the mutant blood of Blade.

That would allow his bloodline to evolve, making him even more powerful than pure-blooded Vampires!

By then, the Council would be his one-man show, he would be the one in charge!

He wouldn't even need a dragon head cane!

"Mercury, just wait, I will find a way to resurrect you.

And Steve, your death is also coming!"

Chapter 26 What? The Daily Bugle is smearing Captain America?

Clothes were scattered all over the apartment, one eight-centimeter high heel flew to the door, and the other flew in front of the bathroom.

Hill woke up lazily, yawning as she went to make a cup of coffee. Her ten crystal-clear, unadorned, smooth jade toes were covered in deep bite marks; Heaven knew what she had been through.

"Husband, coffee's ready, time to go to work."

Steve didn't really want to go to work anymore. The main reason was that he was a workhorse in his last life, and if he had to continue being a workhorse in this life, that would be a bit much!

"Hmm, I think I'll just wander around. I don't want to sit in the office; I'm afraid I'll disturb your work."

Slacking off shouldn't be said so directly; it needs to be more subtle and indirect.

Hill happened to be Steve's superior, so she could indeed arrange a slacking-off position for him. Going out to investigate intelligence would be very suitable. As for what he found?

There were many cool girls on Queen's Street! Did that count as intelligence?

"That's true. If you mess around in the office and I can't refuse you, it won't end well."

Hill's pretty face held a hint of a smile, the curve of her lips looking very much like a vixen's.

Hiss! Hill's tea art was getting better and better. She was so considerate that it made Steve feel a bit guilty.

Hill changed into her uniform, put on low-cut military boots, and left for work.

Only then did Steve slowly get up, taking advantage of the opportunity to slack off more. In the future, there would be many monsters and demons; every villain either destroyed a city or aimed to destroy the World.

Sigh, truly exhausting!

"Ding, detecting that the host is slacking off during work hours. Please continue slacking off for three days to complete the task. Upon completion, you will receive one mission."

Steve's eyes suddenly lit up. Although the system always gave him abstract tasks, the rewards were absolutely beyond reproach—top-notch and a conscientious brand!

Change clothes, open the door, go to work, and slack off!

Queen's Street was a fashionable shopping street, with a dazzling array of shops.

Because there were many discount stores, the foot traffic here was very high. Good quality and low prices—who doesn't like such things?

He bought a few hamburgers on the street, sat on the curb, and ate while watching.

Girls in cool clothes walked by, high heels, black stockings, flesh-colored stockings. His eyes could barely keep up. Indeed, a man is a youth until he dies!

Just then, a discarded newspaper blew up with a gust of wind, and Steve caught it. The beautiful women passing by even winked at him. So handsome and strong, even if not for marriage, a fling would be well worth it!

Steve opened the newspaper, and when he saw the headline, his expression became a little strange.

This was actually news related to him, and looking at the newspaper's name, Horn Daily!

Case closed! It was indeed the good deed of that Spider-Man's number one hater!

"Can a war hero in peacetime bring peace or chaos?!"

"Captain America's pursuit of criminals causes civilian casualties. Is this justice or dereliction of duty?"

Both headlines were explosive, followed by a factual account of yesterday's situation.

There were a total of seven cars, and more than fifteen civilian casualties.

The accompanying picture showed Captain Americariding a motorcycle with his shield on his back, while behind him were the wailing and screaming victims of the attack.

Steve's heart was calm after seeing the newspaper. This was journalism; white could be written as black, and black could be depicted as white.

Downplaying the serious and emphasizing the trivial—this tactic was all too familiar.

With thirty years of experience in this kind of trick, are you afraid or not?!

The phone rang. Hill's tone was somewhat serious, "Husband, the Secretary-General wants to see you. The chaos caused by the Vampire yesterday has been taken over by the Secretary-General."

Above S.H.I.E.L.D. was the Security Council, and the Secretary-General of the Security Council was Pierce. (Captain America 2)

"It's nothing, a small problem." Steve started his motorcycle and left the street.

Around the corner, a thug suddenly rushed out, knocked down a passerby, and then snatched his female companion's handbag.

The man watched the thug run wildly, desperately shouting, "Robbery! Catch that thug, he stole my stuff!"

But the pedestrians on the road all dodged out of the way. Be a hero?

With that kind of thought, it's better to work more overtime and earn money!

Don't succeed in being a hero, only to be stabbed and sent to the hospital; that would be a huge joke!

After all, a trip to the hospital might not be reimbursed, and he might even have to pay a lot out of his own pocket.

Looking at the indifferent passersby, the man felt a bit desperate. He was badly beaten and couldn't stand steadily.

Steve glanced at him, frowning slightly. Weighing the pros and cons, he pulled out his shield and threw it forcefully!

The shield hit the wall of a shop, changed direction through a ricochet, and struck the thug fifty meters away at an incredible angle.

Bang!

"Ah!" The thug screamed and fell to the ground.

Steve leaped, jumped eight meters high to catch the shield, and then landed steadily. The move was indescribably handsome, super cool!

The women on both sides immediately shrieked, "So handsome!"

"That's so cool!"

"It looks like Captain America! I knew Captain Americawas a good person!"

Steve took the handbag and threw it to the man who had rushed over to inquire, "Be careful next time. You call the police yourself."

"Thank you, thank you!" The man was a little excited and a little ashamed, but he didn't know why.

Steve got on his motorcycle, twisted the throttle, and disappeared from view.

His female companion arrived late, looked at the disappearing Captain America, then looked at her fiancé, and angrily said, "Look at what your family has done! I really don't know why your dad wants to smear the Captain!"

The man was submissive; his father was the owner of the Horn Daily.

Today's Horn Daily newspaper was selling like crazy, using the smearing of Captain America's image as a selling point.

As a result, he was robbed, the passersby watched indifferently, and in the end, Captain America helped him. This made Dolan very ashamed; his family truly wasn't a good thing!

This was perhaps too coincidental. Was he really that lucky?

After leaving the police station.

Dolan picked up the phone and called his father, "Dad, I was just robbed and beaten! Captain America saved me and helped me get Fanny's wallet back. You're wrong to smear the Captain like this today!"

Jameson was still smoking a cigar on his end, laughing like a pig at the sales figures.

Suddenly hearing that his son was robbed and then saved by Captain America, he was a bit confused, but admitting he was wrong was impossible!

So, stubbornly, he said, "Impossible! What if he hired someone to rob you and then coincidentally saved you? Don't be fooled!"

"You! Unreasonable! How can you say that about the Captain! You must immediately publish an apology, otherwise, I'll go to the Daily Post to publicize this matter!"

To help his benefactor clear his name, Dolan was uncharacteristically firm this time. He could be submissive in front of his fiancée, but in front of his father, he could definitely punch hard!

Staging a touching scene of a father's resignation and a son's laughter!

Chapter 27 Captain America: Stop pretending, long live Hydra!

Steve didn't care at all about the Horn Daily's report; in fact, he even found it a bit amusing.

At least the boss, Jameson, was a scoundrel with a bottom line and conscience, who said one thing but meant another. As Spider-Man's number one hater, he was too easy to manipulate.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters is in Washington.

It is composed of three independent skyscrapers, forming an arc triangle. The periphery is a hundred-meter-wide artificial canal, surrounding the headquarters building.

It was agreed that he would arrive in the morning, but Steve didn't leisurely show up until five in the afternoon, almost quitting time.

Crossbones, who was in charge of the reception, was speechless. Wasn't Captain America supposed to be a moral paragon? How could he not even be on time!

Steve also wanted to come earlier, but the system wouldn't let him!

If he said he was slacking off, then it definitely meant engaging in recreational activities during work hours to pass the time.

He spent time with Pepper to rekindle their relationship and discuss using his dividends to shoot a movie.

Movies are a good thing; with enough action and his own legendary experiences, filming it would generate significant resonance and fan appeal.

All lies would collapse on their own; why would he need to prove his innocence?

I do not go to the mountain, the mountain comes to me!

Horn Daily is slandering? My fans will debate for me!

The main strategy is to fight fire with fire, with no moves being better than any moves.

Pierce, as the Secretary-General of the Security Council, held power no less than the U.S. military, and even had more freedom in his actions.

Since World War II, HYDRA had also moved from overt to covert operations.

He was single-mindedly focused on restoring HYDRA's glory, and the work of eroding S.H.I.E.L.D. was already mostly complete. His grand vision was within reach, and looking at the green trees and flowing water outside the French windows, he couldn't help but feel a sense of triumph.

He checked the time; it was almost quitting time. But why hadn't Steve arrived yet? Could something have gone wrong?

Yesterday, Captain America's pursuit of a Vampire led to a series of explosions, which had a very negative impact. A Senator's son and wife were unfortunately caught in it and died.

This greatly angered him, and early this morning, he mobilized his connections to impeach Captain Americaand S.H.I.E.L.D., demanding that Captain America must be punished!

The other party's connections were not bad, and they were also supported by a consortium family. Coupled with ulterior motives from politicians wanting a piece of the pie, they fanned the flames.

Even Pierce felt a headache, though it was only a slight one. He was actually thinking of using this opportunity to test Captain America.

Knock, knock, knock. The secretary knocked on the door, "Secretary-General, Captain America has arrived."

"Bring him in!"

Steve walked in, holding a bottle of juice in one hand and a Playboy magazine in the other, reading it.

The first impression completely bewildered Pierce, the HYDRA leader. No, is this Captain America?

Does Captain America need to read Playboy?

Hiss! Pierce realized something was wrong. Could this be a fake?

"Captain, please sit. You caused trouble yesterday. There's a Senator named Wickman whose wife and son died in that incident. He's now rallied others in the Council to impeach you."

The Council is not a small-time place like the House of Representatives.

Decisions on international affairs are made here, carrying significant weight. To use it to impeach a Level 6 Agent is truly overkill!

It also indirectly reflected one thing: this matter was very troublesome.

"Ding, triggered mission: HYDRA Captain."

"HYDRA Captain: An unmotivated Captain is a good Captain. HYDRA has many assets; it's a shame not to take them. Please infiltrate the HYDRA faction and become the HYDRA Captain. Reward: Evil Aura."

What the hell is an Evil Aura?

Can it make people evil?

Evil Aura: Increases the movement speed of yourself and teammates by 50%, and accelerates stamina recovery by 50%. (Effect doubles when active alone)

Seeing this, Steve didn't even hear Pierce's words for a moment.

This aura seems pretty good; it's perfect for slacking off!

The thought of his subordinates, like cattle and horses, having endless energy and charging forward while he, as Captain, commanded, perfectly aligned with his work attitude of slacking off!

The work is there, the tasks are there. If he doesn't do it, someone has to, right?

This aura came at just the right time!

As long as he deactivated the aura, those 'cattle and horses' would feel exhausted.

After experiencing the contrast, they would naturally be more willing to work under him. And he could then claim to be an effective commander, with increased efficiency making them feel less tired.

That's great!

What could be better for slacking off than this? The system really understands me!

Pierce finished speaking, his eyes on Captain America, seemingly expecting to see him flustered or anxious.

But Captain America showed no expression, as if he was distracted by something!

Such a serious matter, with a dozen people dead and an impeachment by Congress! How could he still be distracted?

Pierce was so angry he laughed. He tapped on the table to bring Steve back to his senses, "Captain, what do you think we should do? The evidence is right here; you acted very unscrupulously this time.

Wickman's wife's family has a huge influence. If they are determined to target you, you will have a very hard time, and you might even end up in prison because of it!"

Steve didn't speak, but put down his juice and set the Playboy magazine aside. "Red Skull isn't dead yet."

"What?!"

Pierce was first puzzled, but quickly realized who Stevewas talking about! That was the leader of the HYDRAfaction, a branch of the German Nazis during World War II!

"How is Dr. Zola doing now?" Seeing Pierce stunned, Steve continued to press.

Looking at Captain America, who was slumped on the sofa in a lazy posture, picking up the Playboy magazine again to flip through it.

Pierce's doubts deepened. He felt a glimmer of hope, yet also uncertainty, only looking at Steve with a questioning gaze.

"You bother me with these petty rumors and trivial matters? Do you really think I'm very idle? You've greatly disappointed me, Pierce!"

Steve frowned slightly, and after glancing at Pierce, he shook his head, seemingly finding the other party incapable of great responsibility.

These words made Pierce feel that his intuition was gradually surfacing. Could Captain America also be one of them?

Steve walked over and whispered in his ear, "Hail HYDRA."

At this moment, Pierce's eyes widened. Although he had some suspicions, he couldn't be certain.

I never thought! I never thought!

Steve, you, with your thick eyebrows and big eyes, have also betrayed the United States and joined HYDRA!

HYDRA's organizational structure is strict; only superiors know information about their subordinates. Unless it's public, no one knows who their superior contact is!

Chapter 28: Captain America covets Hydra's assets

It was precisely because of this that Pierce was so shocked, as it meant Steve's clearance level was still above his!

"Hail HYDRA!"

Pierce also returned the greeting. Since Captain Americahad shown his hand, he wasn't going to hide anymore!

No more pretense! Everyone is HYDRA!

At this moment, Steve walked behind the desk, unhesitatingly sat in the chair, and tapped the desktop, signaling Pierce to sit opposite him.

This move felt a bit like a cuckoo taking over a magpie's nest. Sitting in that position represented giving orders.

Pierce frowned slightly. After he sat down, as if a subordinate facing a superior, he couldn't help but ask, "Captain, how did you know?"

"Alexander Pierce, I now ask you, as the Supreme Leader of HYDRA, why do you think I would know your identity!"

Steve hadn't read the comics, only seen the movies.

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, I fought tooth and nail in the elevator battle. In Avengers: Endgame, I speedran the elevator battle!

Why fight to the death when a simple slogan can solve everything?

But now it was different. Steve had no intention of just glossing over it; on the contrary, he wanted to take over HYDRA. He couldn't let these valuable assets, so many talents, so much technological equipment, be wasted. How much better if they served him!

Pierce's eyes widened. The four words "Supreme Leader" were not a joke; they referred to the superior of all HYDRA factions. Nominally, the entire HYDRA was supposed to obey him, but this position had been vacant for a very, very long time.

Even Red Skull, with Military backing back then, couldn't ascend to that position. He couldn't be the Supreme Leader. The weight of those four words was immense! Without the strength, one couldn't do that job!

Thump, thump, thump!

Steve tapped the table in dissatisfaction. Although he was very nervous, he had to continue pretending. It wasn't just a system mission; it also concerned his future happy life.

"Alexander, answer my question!"

The stern questioning left Pierce speechless. He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but couldn't.

You ask me, how do I know how you know!

"I didn't expect that after defeating the traitor, I would fall into a deep sleep. Haha, it truly disappoints me that such a large organization has now fallen apart! Pierce, are you willing to help me unite HYDRA and return to the throne of ruling the World?"

Conquer the World?

No, no, no, he had no interest in that. Conquering the World would certainly involve a lot of things to do.

Steve didn't have such grand ideals; he only wanted a warm home with a wife and children!

As for how many wives and how many children, that was still to be considered.

The famous Captain America, a war hero promoted by the U.S. Congress and Military for seventy years, the one who brought peace to the World, was actually a HYDRAbigshot?

Even Pierce, who had experienced war and countless intrigues, rising step by step to the position of Secretary-General, felt utterly dumbfounded and didn't know what to say.

Was he too rational? Or was this World too crazy?

His head was buzzing, and rationality had not yet fully reoccupied his brain.

"Captain, before that, may I ask a few questions?" Piercedidn't answer; he needed to think.

Should he use Captain America's identity for external expansion, or become a meritorious minister supporting the new ruler?

HYDRA had many factions and many branches. They were not subordinate to each other, had no command structure, and even cooperated rarely. Sometimes they would even engage in internal strife, fighting ruthlessly.

"Your rudeness reminds me of that unpleasant fellow, Red Skull. You may ask two questions. If the third is unclear, I can send you to Red Skull to ask him directly."

Steve flashed a smile. If he were to put on HYDRA's black combat uniform now, he would be a perfect HYDRACaptain!

As a leader, one couldn't let subordinates talk too much. The more said, the greater the chance of being exposed!

An unknown, elaborate scheme of deception and usurpation was unfolding at S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters.

Hill also arrived at the Headquarters. After getting off the plane, she rushed to the office floor without stopping.

Thump, thump, thump.

Pierce was about to ask a question when a knock sounded.

"Come in," Steve said unhesitatingly.

It was the secretary asking. She saw her boss sitting in front of the desk, and Captain America sitting behind the desk. This felt like a complete reversal of roles.

Who was the boss? Who was the subordinate?

"Deputy Director Hill requests a meeting; she has something to report."

"Let her in," Steve instructed.

The secretary didn't move after hearing this but looked at Pierce.

"Whatever Captain America says, goes! Hurry up!" Piercefrowned, also calculating things in his mind.

Soon, Hill, in a tight-fitting suit that perfectly showcased her graceful and tall figure, walked in. Due to recent 'nourishment,' her 'peaks' seemed to have grown quite a bit.

"Secretary-General, I am here to request Captain America's assistance. Recently, we have detected increasingly frequent Vampire activity. These Vampires are highly infectious, and ordinary taxi soldiers are no match for them."

Hill only glanced at Captain America, then meticulously reported the results of the mission investigation.

Steve, however, walked over and put his arm around her waist, openly giving her a kiss in front of Pierce. "Secretary-General, this is my girlfriend, Hill. I love her very much, and when the time is right, I will propose to her and marry her."

Hill didn't know why her husband was doing this, showing affection in front of his superior. Was he worried she would be targeted by the superior?

Actually, there was no need to worry so much. Pierce had no such interest, or rather, no thoughts about such matters at all.

Great men are not bothered by trifles, but they also control themselves. If one can't control the 'small head,' how can one control the 'big head'?

Without rationality, how could one hope to achieve great things? Dreaming!

"Wife, you go out first, it's fine. I'll talk with the Secretary-General for a while. You go wait outside, and pick a place. We'll go to dinner together later." Steve pulled Hill to the door, telling her to wait outside, and gave her a reassuring look.

To say he wasn't moved would be impossible.

Clearly, Hill came this time to protect him. As long as he continued to carry out missions and gained credit, all doubts and opposing voices would disappear. In the face of facts, any sophistry was powerless and pale!

And Steve showing affection with Hill in front of the Secretary-General was also a display of his methods.

It was to let Pierce, that old geezer, see clearly that he wasn't a lonely man who had just woken up. With just a little time, he could naturally establish his own faction and power.

The result was also good; it did indeed surprise Pierce.

It seemed this Supreme Leader still had some credibility!

Chapter 29 Captain America: This old Biden is not easy to fool

I never thought Captain America would actually win over Hill. Is this the charm of the HYDRA leader?

Pierce felt a bit of a toothache! He had finally climbed to a quasi-high-level position, and it seemed he could go even further.

To be targeted at this time, plus a HYDRA Captain America emerging, was truly inexplicable.

"Captain, why would you fight Red Skull?" Pierce asked his first question. He had heard of Red Skull's reputation back then; the man was a genuine, ambitious individual.

They were both from the HYDRA faction, so why were they fighting so fiercely?

Steve looked at Pierce with an idiotic gaze, not only without any guilt of usurpation but also huffing righteously, "Red Skull was trying to betray us; I needed to clean house. It's that simple."

This sounded a bit strange. Red Skull, after all, had assets and an army. What was your status?

Ahem, what was your status in the U.S.?

Just a common soldier! How dare you say he betrayed us? Could it be a classic case of the subordinate overthrowing the superior?

Although the reason wasn't very convincing, Captain America's words were, for now, believable.

"Then the second question, Captain, what do you think of the current situation?"

If the first question was still about confirming identity and expressing doubt, then the second question was to see what this Captain America was capable of. How much did he weigh? How many drinks did it take to get him this drunk?

Steve stood up when he heard this, walked to the French window, one hand on the wall, the other in his pocket. This was exactly like in the movie when Pierce questioned Captain America, except now Captain America was in charge, and Pierce was being questioned.

It was truly a reversal of roles!

Looking at the twinkling lights outside the window, beyond the lush greenery was a bustling city.

"What do you think HYDRA's goal is in dominating the World?"

Hearing this question, Pierce frowned slightly. "Naturally, it's to bring the entire World under our control and establish our own order."

"What if this order is worthless in the eyes of others, and everything we painstakingly build is easily erased by them?"

Seeing Steve's mysterious smile, Pierce inexplicably shivered. A chill ran through him, making his hands and feet cold.

Steve walked over, patted Pierce's shoulder, and leaned against the office desk with his hands in his pockets, "I've seen things you haven't seen, I've seen civilizations you haven't seen.

Alien civilizations are so powerful; we are but worthless. War will come soon; we don't have many years left of peace.

Enemies don't necessarily need to be killed. In times of global crisis, they are excellent workhorses. And we need a retreat, not to become public enemies of the World."

Next, Steve also mentioned the Pegasus Engine project and told Pierce to investigate if an Air Force soldier named Carol Danvers had gone missing.

Even HYDRA didn't know about this, nor was it recorded.

Upon learning of the existence of aliens, Pierce broke out in a cold sweat. He thought he had done well, but Fury, this 'black guy' he had personally promoted, was still hiding things from him!

"Leader!" Pierce stood up and bowed to him sincerely.

"Just call me Captain from now on. It's late today; we'll talk tomorrow. Let's go to your place." Steve checked the time; it had been about an hour, time to leave.

Suddenly, this also counted as work time!

As a Captain America of the new era, how could he lead the way in working overtime and engaging in internal competition?

No! He must lie flat and slack off. Why work so hard?

Leaving the office, Steve saw Hill still waiting outside. What could make a person feel more warmth than a cold and beautiful woman waiting for him?

Steve swore he would treat Hill well. As for being exclusive, that didn't seem very important!

--

Saint Peter's Restaurant.

Elegant melodic music played in the hall. People came and went; the prices were affordable, and many people were dining.

Steve was too lazy to have Hill cook, so they just went out for a quick bite.

Hill didn't ask about the results; she just smiled as she watched the man gobble down his food. She didn't know why she had flown all the way from New York to Washington to vouch for him.

It was supposed to be a mission, but now she seemed to be falling deeper and deeper! She realized it, but she just couldn't help but succumb.

Did Steve have any charm? Initially, he had no money, no assets, just a relic from the last century.

Even after waking up from seventy years of slumber, he was only considered a legendary figure with a legendary story.

But most women nowadays are materialistic. Rich men change women every day for fun, while poor men fawn over women for three years with nothing to show for it. This is the reality.

But why did she like Steve? Hill couldn't understand. She just felt that if she didn't see him for a day, she had no energy for anything. Her previous efficiency had disappeared; only when she saw Steve would she return to her normal state.

And they had only known each other for a short time, yet they were already living together. They didn't even use Durex, how bold!

Wasn't this a privilege only husbands had? Wasn't this something only allowed when heading towards marriage?

"Don't stare at me; eat. There's a lot of exercise tonight!" Steve winked. Since she was practically offering herself, he'd be letting himself down if he didn't take advantage.

Relationships also need communication to grow. Verbal communication is communication, but physical communication is the real deal.

Seeing her boyfriend's teasing, Hill blushed. She didn't know how to respond.

It was hard to imagine that a Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., an Agent leader, would actually blush?

In fact, Hill had never really experienced romance. Because of her childhood experiences, she had always maintained a cold demeanor.

Plus, she excelled in her studies and always received scholarships to Ivy League universities. And she was in a military officer program, which was not like those corrupt garbage places like West Point.

The upper echelons were not foolish; they needed talent. Only with a continuous influx of elite talent working as 'oxen and horses' could the consortium families prosper. One might not need professional knowledge, as long as they knew how to manage people, everything would resolve itself!

"You've finished eating! I haven't even started!" Hillpouted, her charming, girlish demeanor no different from a girl in love!

If S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents saw this, they would probably be so surprised their jaws would drop.

Impossible! Absolutely impossible!

This was the Ice Queen!

Hill! You are a woman famous for your coldness and beauty, how can you act coquettishly!

"Haha, I'll go buy you some. You like fried egg sandwiches, right?" Steve remembered what Hill liked to eat; it was just a simple sandwich.

"Mm, thank you, husband." Hill was touched. Stevealways knew what she liked to eat; this was love for her!

Chapter 30: Good news: Success! Bad news: No money!

Steve went to the counter to order and bumped into someone.

"Sorry, my bad." The man's glasses were knocked off, and he quickly bent down to pick them up, apologizing profusely.

Looking at the other person, a face strikingly similar to Maguire's appeared.

Hiss! Isn't this the original Spider-Man?

"It's alright, buddy, how are you?" Steve helped the other person up; he seemed very thin and not strong.

Out of curiosity, he still asked, "Buddy, what's your name?"

"Peter Parker." The man with glasses smiled shyly, seemingly not good at greeting people.

Hiss! It really is the original Spider-Man. I knew it, there's no such thing as that much coincidence.

"My name is Steve Rogers. We have a lot of fate today; let's have tea together another day." Steve smiled. Spider-Man has arrived too, though he probably hasn't become Spider-Man yet.

Whether Spider-Man is awesome or not is unknown, but for Captain America to beat him up, that would be an easy task.

After ordering, he returned to Hill, watching her finish her sandwich.

Steve was quite eager to pull her back to the dormitory. Hill was so good to him, so he also needed to reassure her and put something else in her stomach.

The next day.

Steve woke up early. Today, he still had to go negotiate with Pierce, that old bastard.

If he could trick Pierce into joining, that would be the best thing. With that money, he could buy a Villa.

How can I, the dignified Captain America, always live in my girlfriend's dormitory?

After giving Hill a kiss and picking up the clothes scattered on the floor, Steve changed and left.

Only after Captain America left did Hill open her eyes, looking at a box of Durex on the table. They were supposed to use them last night, but Steve said the size wasn't suitable, so they didn't use them.

She wasn't saying she absolutely needed to, but isn't it still not suitable to have a child right now?

What Steve didn't consider, Hill had to, because she was the one who would get pregnant, not Steve.

Marriage, it doesn't seem suitable.

But not getting married, that feeling is also a bit strange.

As a Level Nine Agent and Deputy Director, how could Hill not know about Pepper and Sharon?

Is Captain two-timing? This is already three-timing!

Hill didn't say anything, and neither did Sharon.

As Peggy's niece, Sharon's Agent spy awareness was also very strong. How could she not know? She also said nothing, maintaining her composure, even greeting him casually at work.

Forget it, I'm not thinking about it anymore, my head hurts. U.S. laws are strange; in some places, you can even marry several wives, so there's nothing to fret about.

Along the way, Steve also went to the cafeteria to grab some breakfast, packing a portion to take back to Hill, who was just in the bathroom at the time.

Hey, isn't this convenient! Just in time while it's hot!

--

Secretary-General's office.

Pierce checked his watch. Today, to meet Steve, he had canceled many meetings and postponed a lot of work.

Someone saw Captain America in the cafeteria at eight o'clock, but now it's ten-thirty, and he's still not here?

An hour for eating, an hour for exercising, half an hour for intimacy, that should be enough!

Just as Pierce was getting irate from waiting, Stevehummed a tune as he entered, even instructing the secretary not to disturb them unless necessary.

He made himself at home, sitting in the Secretary-General's chair, "Do you know why I'm only just arriving now?"

"No, please enlighten me!" Pierce, that old bastard, was genuinely a bit exasperated, almost laughing. Getting used to taking over, are we?

"Because I am the leader, and you are not, understand?" Steve had to solidify his position, even if people at Pierce's level didn't want to submit.

He also had to get a firm footing and then slowly erode HYDRA's assets and personnel.

What makes money faster than starting a business with zero capital?

"Captain, I can represent the S.H.I.E.L.D. faction in returning to your guidance, but we can't control other factions." Pierce also conceded. Anger is anger, but life still has to go on!

Captain was late, what else could they do?

Of course, they choose to forgive him!

"I know, Baron Strucker and the others will be dealt with by me sooner or later. A unified HYDRA has combat power."

"That Wickman you mentioned yesterday, find someone to kill him, and kill anyone who objects. If you have suitable people, promote them to fill their positions. Do it cleanly; I don't need to teach you this, right? If not, let Bucky do it!"

Steve unceremoniously put his feet on the desk, leaning back, a classic display of defiance.

This posture showed no cynicism, only a reassuring sense of strategy. And only Steve could do this; Captain America's title was simply too resounding!

After seventy years of continuous U.S. propaganda, the original intention was to profit from a dead man.

But this dead man suddenly came back to life. It was a surprise, but more than that, it was a warning.

Pierce was silent for a moment. His heart rate had been accelerating, especially when Captain mentioned Bucky, his Winter Soldier. His heart felt like it was going to burst!

If this couldn't explain that Captain was the leader, even after seventy years, people still pledged allegiance to him. Then Pierce was too much of a failure. He completely believed it, he just needed a little time to accept the facts.

"I will do it. What about the Horn Daily?"

"No need to deal with it. Do you think we're a criminal organization?! Don't always think about fighting and killing; use your brain to solve problems." Steve said grumpily. What a joke, he was a moral paragon!

Pierce almost spat out a mouthful of old blood. Me, fighting and killing? You're the one giving the orders!

"Alright, prepare a larger Villa for me. I need a new uniform, here's the design. We are all S.H.I.E.L.D. now; continue to infiltrate and corrupt. The council also needs to be infiltrated and corrupted. What difficulties do we have now? Let's talk about them together." Steve took the opportunity to add the uniform he had envisioned yesterday.

He would wear the Captain America Two uniform for official business and the HYDRA Captain uniform for nefarious deeds.

Cool!

And wouldn't you know it, there really was something!

Pierce seized the opportunity to vent his grievances, "Captain, we only control S.H.I.E.L.D. Assets outside of that belong to others. Currently, Gorgon controls the U.S. branch. He holds a large number of senators, assets, and businesses. Our faction can only rely on taking orders from the dark web to maintain operations!"

"Ding, mission HYDRA Captain completed."

"Ding, reward Evil Aura has been issued."

"Ding, HYDRA Asset List activated."

Three consecutive system prompts sounded.

Steve quickly felt the aura's effect. After exercising with Hill this morning, he needed three hours to exit saint mode.

With the aura's boost, he was now gradually ceasing to be a saint!

Hiss, the aura seems to be very beneficial for kidney replenishment!
