Ch:101
Odin couldn't help but think of his two missing sons, and his worry grew day by day.
He flashed, instantly disappearing from the Bifrost Bridge.
He arrived on Earth, appearing outside the mysterious Kamar-Taj.
The Sorcerer Ancient One guarded the safety of Earthhere.
Buzz, buzz, buzz!
Sensing Odin's arrival, the Sorcerer Ancient One stepped out of a portal.
She also realized the seriousness of the situation.
"Venerable One, is there any news of Thor and Loki?"
Odin asked anxiously, his tone filled with an immense sense of urgency.
The Sorcerer Ancient One shook her head, her face etched with sorrow:
"Thor's disappearance is not on the timeline; I cannot predict it, nor can I find his current whereabouts."
"What? How can this be?!"
Odin took a deep breath, suppressing the unease in his heart.
"I can only hope he is safe and sound."
He couldn't help but pray.
"The danger is far from over!"
The Sorcerer Ancient One reminded him earnestly:
"All-Father, a dark hour is threatening Earth and Asgard; we must be even more careful. The Nine-Star Alignmentanomaly is related to the recent unrest; we cannot take it lightly."
"Hmm, I understand!"
Odin nodded, the gravity in his heart deepening.
He knew this concerned not only his own safety but also the fate of all Asgard.
Danger was coming; they had to prepare early!
...Meanwhile, Lin Feng was outside the Base.
He used the green lantern ring to sense the sealed location of the Aether Particle.
Buzz, buzz, buzz!!
The green lantern ring emitted green light, interfering with rules and peering into fate.
Lin Feng continuously sensed the existence of the Aether Particle.
Suddenly, Lin Feng detected a dangerous aura, dark and foul, sending shivers down his spine.
Lin Feng's heart stirred, and he traversed through the void following that sensation!
Before long, he appeared in an alternate dimension.
Lin Feng's figure emerged in a void.
This was the sealed location of the Aether Particle.
The surrounding dense dark aura solidified into mist, swirling and filled with power that could corrupt souls.
Lin Feng unleashed his Demon Bloodline talent, devouring the surrounding black mist.
He walked leisurely through the endless black mist.
In the blink of an eye, Lin Feng reached the end of the black mist, seeing a dilapidated death altar.
The surrounding ruined buildings were like a wasteland, with massive stone pillars standing tall.
And on the altar, a stream of red particles pulsed.
Like a living being, it slowly squirmed.
The liquid surface was covered with profound runes, shimmering with a faint golden light—that was the seal set by Odin.
"[Aether Particle (Sealed): Reality Stone, containing powerful Reality Force...]"
The system prompt sounded in Lin Feng's mind.
The corners of Lin Feng's mouth curled slightly upward.
"Reality Stone, I'm here."
He slowly stepped forward, extended his hand, and reached for the dark red liquid.
Just as Lin Feng's hand was about to touch the liquid.
An anomaly suddenly occurred!
The dark red liquid suddenly boiled, as if sensing life, instantly transforming into countless tentacles that swept toward Lin Feng.
The tentacles were crimson like blood, emitting a nauseating stench and a terrifying aura that sought to devour everything.
This was the Aether Particle's instinctive counterattack!
It sensed Lin Feng's life force and wanted to devour him, breaking through the seal!
Lin Feng's gaze slightly narrowed.
He had anticipated that the Aether Particle would not be so easily obtained by him.
After all, this was one of the Infinity Stones, containing immense power.
Moreover, there was also the seal set by Odin.
However, Lin Feng did not back down.
A hint of excitement flashed in his eyes.
"Good timing!"
Lin Feng let out a low roar, and demonic energy surged out from within him, instantly covering his entire body.
His skin turned as black as ink, and hideous demonic patterns emerged.
Behind him, a pair of massive black wings suddenly unfurled, obscuring the sky.
Lin Feng's aura instantly skyrocketed, like a demon god emerging from hell, terrifying beyond compare.
This was Lin Feng's Demon Form!
In Demon Form, Lin Feng's strength, defense, and speed were greatly enhanced.
More importantly, the Demon Bloodline possessed powerful devouring ability, which could counteract the Aether Particle's devouring characteristic.
"Break for me!"
Lin Feng roared, swinging his demonic claws fiercely at the blood-colored tentacles.
Pfft! Pfft!
The demonic claws and blood-colored tentacles collided violently.
A piercing tearing sound erupted.
Although the blood-colored tentacles contained powerful force, they were as fragile as tofu under Lin Feng's demonic claws, breaking one after another.
Dark red liquid splattered everywhere, emitting an even stronger, nauseating stench.
"Roar!"
The Aether Particle seemed to let out a painful roar.
It twisted and struggled frantically, trying to escape Lin Feng's attack.
But Lin Feng's demonic claws, like maggots on bone, gripped it tightly, continuously tearing at it.
Demonic energy surged madly into the Aether Particle, devouring its power.
"Condense for me!"
Lin Feng roared again, and the demonic energy became even more turbulent.
The Aether Particle, under the erosion of the demonic energy, began to gradually shrink.
Finally, it transformed into a blood-colored crystal, quietly lying in Lin Feng's palm.
Inside the crystal, countless tiny blood-colored tentacles were still constantly wriggling, seemingly wanting to break free.
But they had already been completely suppressed by Lin Feng's demonic energy.
"[Aether Particle (Sealed): Originally the Reality Stone! A sacred relic of the Dark Elves, possessing the characteristic of reversing rules! ]"
The system prompt sounded again.
Lin Feng looked at the blood-colored crystal in his hand, feeling the powerful energy it contained, and a hint of satisfaction flashed in his eyes.
"Finally got it."
He murmured softly.
Although the process was a bit thrilling, the outcome was good.
With the Aether Particle in hand, his strength would once again receive a significant boost.
Lin Feng took a deep breath and put away the blood-colored crystal.
He knew that now was not the time to study this gem.
The urgent task was to leave this place as soon as possible.
After all, he had just snatched this treasure right under Odin's nose.
If Odin were to find out, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Lin Feng's figure flashed, disappearing into the void.
Only a faint smell of blood and a trace of lingering demonic energy remained in the air... Meanwhile, on the other side.
Outside Kamar-Taj.
"What? Who touched the seal?!"
Odin, who was conversing with the Sorcerer Ancient One, suddenly changed his expression drastically.
His originally cloudy single eye instantly burst forth with dazzling golden light, divine power surged around him, and the king's oppressive aura swept out like a tsunami... 85: Incompetent Husband, Disappointed Wife!
The originally clear sky instantly became covered with dark clouds, with lightning and thunder.
It was as if the All-Father's wrath had changed the heavens and Earth.
The Sorcerer Ancient One sat there calmly, her plain white robe fluttering without wind, a faint golden halo radiating around her, completely blocking Odin's violent aura.
She took a small sip of tea, her tone still calm.
"The Aether Particle has been taken."
Odin's voice was deep and hoarse, every word seemingly containing endless fury.
He couldn't believe that the seal he had set could be broken so easily.
One must know, that was a seal he had personally set with the power of the All-Father, combined with the secret arts of Asgard!
Even a Skyfather-level expert would find it extremely difficult to break.
Moreover, the location of the Aether Particle was extremely secretive; besides him, almost no one knew.
The Sorcerer Ancient One put down her teacup and looked up at Odin, a hint of solemnity in her eyes.
"This matter is no small thing."
She spoke slowly, her voice gentle yet carrying an undeniable authority.
Ch:102
The Aether Particle is one of the Infinity Stones, containing immense reality-bending power. If it falls into the wrong hands, the consequences would be unimaginable."
Odin took a deep breath, suppressing the anger in his heart, and tried to calm himself down.
He knew that getting angry now was pointless; the immediate priority was to find out who had taken the Aether Particle.
"Sorcerer Supreme, do you know who is responsible?"
Odin asked in a deep voice, a hint of urgency in his tone.
The Sorcerer Ancient One shook her head slightly, a complex expression flashing in her eyes.
"I can only vaguely sense that…that person is not within the timeline."
"Not within the timeline?"
Odin's pupils suddenly constricted, an expression of disbelief on his face.
As the God King of Asgard, he had wielded the Time Stone for many years, and his understanding of the laws of time had already reached an extremely high realm.
Yet, even so, he had never heard of anyone being able to transcend the timeline.
This was simply inconceivable!
"Sorcerer Supreme, are you saying…"
Odin's voice trembled slightly; he vaguely guessed a possibility but dared not believe it.
The Sorcerer Ancient One did not answer directly, only letting out a soft sigh.
"Some existences, even we cannot comprehend."
She looked up at the endless void, her eyes deep and distant.
"This Universe is far vaster and more mysterious than we imagine."
Odin fell silent.
He knew that the Sorcerer Ancient One spoke the truth.
As a God King, he knew better than anyone that this Universe contained too many unknown powers and powerful existences.
Even he was but a drop in the ocean.
After a long while, Odin spoke slowly, a hint of resolve in his voice.
"No matter who he is, I will find him!"
His eyes burned with intense fighting spirit.
The Aether Particle must not fall into other hands!
...Outside a small town in New Mexico.
On a desolate Gobi desert, the wind whipped up sand and howled.
The portal opened by the Sorcerer Ancient One sparked with golden fire, like sharp claws tearing through space.
She walked out with Odin, their gaze falling on the figure standing quietly not far away.
Lin Feng.
He still maintained his calm and composed demeanor, as if everything around him had nothing to do with him.
But both Ancient One and Odin knew that this young man was far from simple.
He had stirred the timeline, and even snatched the Aether Particle right under Odin's nose. Such methods were beyond their comprehension.
"Mr. Lin, we finally meet."
The Sorcerer Ancient One spoke first, her tone calm, with a faint smile.
She took the initiative to show goodwill, wanting to ascertain Lin Feng's origin and purpose.
Odin remained silent, complex light flickering in his single eye.
He was very curious as to who this young man truly was, to possess such immense power.
Lin Feng smiled slightly, his gaze sweeping over the two, his tone calm:
"I didn't expect the Sorcerer Ancient One and God King Odin to come together. May I ask what brings you two here?"
He had already guessed that their arrival was definitely related to the Aether Particle.
But Lin Feng naturally wouldn't easily hand over something he had obtained.
Moreover, he had more important things to do.
Odin's gaze fell on the blood-colored crystal in Lin Feng's hand.
He could feel the powerful and dangerous energy contained within it.
"Young man, this item is very dangerous. It could trigger a dark upheaval. I hope you will handle it with caution."
Odin said in a deep voice, with a hint of warning in his tone.
He wasn't afraid of Lin Feng, but rather worried that the Aether Particle falling into evil hands would bring disaster to the Nine Realms.
"Isn't it just the Dark Elves?"
Lin Feng said dismissively,
"Just a bunch of stray dogs."
Odin's expression froze; he was speechless.
He didn't expect Lin Feng to be so arrogant, not even putting the Dark Elves in his eyes.
Seeing this, the Sorcerer Ancient One quickly changed the subject.
She looked into the distance, where the stars in the sky seemed to be undergoing some strange change.
"Mr. Lin, what are your thoughts on the Nine-Star Alignment?"
She asked, with a hint of probing in her tone.
Lin Feng's gaze also turned to the starry sky.
The corners of his mouth curved slightly, revealing a meaningful smile.
"A celestial anomaly presages great chaos! Nothing more than Dark Elves coveting, and Ragnarok."
The Sorcerer Ancient One and Odin both trembled upon hearing this.
They exchanged glances, both seeing shock in each other's eyes.
The Sorcerer Ancient One thought of Dormammu, the Lord of the Dark Dimension, who had always coveted Earth.
Wasn't that the Dark Elves coveting?
Odin, on the other hand, thought of the prophecy of Ragnarok, which had long been passed down in Asgard.
Lin Feng knew about it too?
What was the origin of this young man?
Why did he know so much about these hidden matters?
The Sorcerer Ancient One and Odin realized that Lin Feng was not only mysterious but also powerful.
Perhaps he truly had the ability to deal with the impending crisis.
"Mr. Lin, Kamar-Taj welcomes you to visit anytime."
The Sorcerer Ancient One again showed goodwill, her tone sincere.
She hoped to establish a good relationship with Lin Fengto jointly protect Earth.
"Asgard also welcomes Mr. Lin."
Odin also spoke, a hint of respect in his tone.
He had already regarded Lin Feng as an existence on par with himself.
"I will surely trouble you someday. Thank you for your invitations."
Lin Feng said with a smile.
He did not refuse their goodwill, but he also didn't immediately agree.
He still had his own plans that required time to complete.
The Sorcerer Ancient One and Odin nodded, saying nothing more.
They knew that a person like Lin Feng would not be easily bound.
The two turned and prepared to leave.
The golden sparks of the portal shimmered again.
They did not mention the Aether Particle again, as if nothing had happened.
Lin Feng watched their disappearing figures, the corners of his mouth curving slightly.
"System, can I check in now?"
He thought silently.
"Ding, the host has successfully checked in at the famous scene: Incapable God King, Disappointed Sorcerer!"
"Ding, congratulations to the host for receiving the reward: Heart of the Universe!"
The system's prompt sounded in Lin Feng's mind.
Heart of the Universe!
This was a divine artifact from the DC Universe, possessing power comparable to the Infinity Stones.
Lin Feng was overjoyed and very satisfied with this reward.
He took a deep breath, suppressing the excitement in his heart.
Now was not the time to study the Heart of the Universe.
He needed to leave here as soon as possible and return to his research Base.
Lin Feng's figure flashed, disappearing into the wilderness.
Only the howling wind remained, as if recounting everything that had just happened... The dark and deep cosmic space, like a boundless black curtain, dotted with sparse starlight.
Planets, like silent stones, floated in this cold void.
Suddenly, a dazzling light tore through the darkness, like a sleeping giant beast opening its eyes.
A colossal warship, like a mountain floating in space, slowly revealed its menacing outline.
The warship's surface was covered with strange patterns, glowing with a faint red light, like ancient and evil runes.
Inside the warship, on a massive throne, a figure slowly opened his eyes.
Malekith, King of the Dark Elves, awoke from his long slumber.
His skin was as pale as paper, but his eyes burned with crimson flames, like two flickering embers.
He slowly rose, feeling the power surging within him, and the call from a distant galaxy.
"Aether Particle..."
Malekith's voice was low and hoarse, like a whisper from hell.
He stretched out his hand, and a ball of dark energy condensed in his palm, making a sizzling sound in the air.
"The sacred relic of my race has finally reappeared."
A cruel smile appeared on his lips, and a fanatic gleam flashed in his eyes.
Malekith could clearly feel that familiar yet powerful force resurfacing in a corner of the Nine Realms.
It was the long-lost sacred relic of the Dark Elves, containing dark energy capable of destroying everything.
"This is the moment for the Dark Elves to rise."
Malekith's voice echoed in the empty hall, every word filled with power.
Ch:103
He suddenly waved his hand, and dark energy surged like a tide, awakening his slumbering kin.
In every corner of the grand hall, Dark Elves awoke from their sleep, their eyes similarly glinting with crimson light.
They slowly rose, knelt on one knee, and paid homage to Malekith on the throne.
One particularly tall Dark Elf, with bulging muscles, slowly stepped forward.
Algrim, the strongest warrior of the Dark Elves, Malekith's most loyal subordinate.
He lowered his head and bowed respectfully.
"My King, you have finally awakened."
Algrim's voice was deep and powerful, filled with reverence for Malekith.
"Algrim."
Malekith slowly spoke, with a hint of appreciation in his voice.
"The Aether Particle has revived; our opportunity has come."
He paused, his gaze sweeping over every Dark Elf present.
"The Nine Realms were once our home. Now, it is time to reclaim them."
Malekith's voice suddenly rose, filled with endless fury.
"Gather all our kin, activate the warship, target — the Nine Realms!"
0 --- Request for fresh flowers --- "Yes, My King!"
Algrim pounded his chest, his voice as loud as a bell.
He turned and strode out of the hall to carry out Malekith's command.
The massive warship began to vibrate, its engines emitting a deep roar, like a giant beast about to awaken.
The runes on the warship's surface shimmered even more brightly, and dark energy surged around the hull, forming a huge vortex.
The warship slowly launched, cutting through the silent starry sky towards the Nine Realms... Meanwhile, on Earth.
Inside the temporary Base.
Jane Foster was intently staring at the screen, her fingers rapidly typing on the keyboard.
Rows of data flowed like a waterfall.
Daisy stood beside her, holding a clipboard.
She occasionally looked down to write something, her brow slightly furrowed, as if contemplating a difficult problem.
"Jane, look here! During the Nine-Star Alignment, the spatial interference index reached its peak. This perfectly matches our previous prediction model!"
Daisy's voice held a hint of excitement.
Jane Foster leaned closer to the screen, carefully observing the fluctuating data.
A relieved smile appeared on her face.
"Yes, Daisy, our efforts were not in vain. This data is crucial for us to understand the mysteries of the Universe."
The two exchanged smiles and high-fived in celebration.
Just then, the door to the Base slowly opened, and Lin Feng's figure appeared at the entrance.
Jane Foster and Daisy immediately stopped celebrating, bright smiles blossoming on their faces as they hurried to meet him.
"Lin Feng, you're back!"
Jane Foster's voice was filled with joy.
"We were just about to tell you some good news!"
... Daisy added, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Lin Feng looked at the two, smiling and nodding.
"I know, your research has made great progress. Congratulations to you both."
Lin Feng's words made Jane Foster and Daisy even more excited.
They pulled Lin Feng to the experimental bench, pointed at the data on the screen, and excitedly recounted their discoveries.
"Look, this data shows that the Nine-Star Alignment's impact on space is far greater than we imagined. This could overturn existing cosmic theories!"
Jane Foster said excitedly.
Daisy also added:
"We also discovered some strange energy fluctuations. These fluctuations seem to be related to the Nine-Star Alignment, but we can't yet determine what they are."
Lin Feng listened attentively, nodding in agreement from time to time.
A hint of admiration flashed in his eyes.
Although Jane Foster and her two colleagues were ordinary, unlike Iron Man and Bruce Banner.
Yet they were able to research the interference of celestial phenomena on space.
And the spatial device they later developed even greatly helped Thor, allowing him to slay the powerful King of the Dark Elves!
It must be said, both women were extremely outstanding!
"Your research is very valuable. Keep up the hard work, I believe you will surely be able to unravel the mysteries of the Universe."
Lin Feng's encouragement greatly uplifted Jane Fosterand Daisy.
They exchanged glances, their eyes filled with determination.
Just then, Professor Selvig looked up from his desk piled with documents.
He rubbed his tired eyes.
But upon seeing Mr. Lin, a trace of reverence appeared on his face.
"Mr. Lin, you're back."
Professor Selvig walked closer.
Looking at the data organized by Jane Foster and Daisy, a relieved smile appeared on his face.
"Very good, very good!"
"Jane, Daisy, you've done an excellent job. It seems this old man can retire in peace."
Professor Selvig's words carried a hint of jest.
But his eyes were filled with approval and expectation for Jane Foster and Daisy.
These were two students he was very satisfied with!
He paused, then looked at Mr. Lin, realizing he had become a third wheel.
Noticing the late hour, he said earnestly:
"Mr. Lin, this old man is a bit tired and wants to go back and rest. You young people can continue chatting."
With that, Professor Selvig turned and left the laboratory.
Only Lin Feng, Jane Foster, and Daisy remained in the research lab.
After Professor Selvig left, Jane Foster and Daisy's faces flushed slightly.
They seemed to realize.
Professor Selvig's words just now seemed to have a deeper meaning.
"Heh heh."
Lin Feng looked at the two, the corners of his mouth slightly upturned, revealing a playful smile.
He walked to Jane Foster and Daisy's side.
He gently put his arms around their waists.
"Since Professor Selvig said so, then we..."
Lin Feng's voice was deep and magnetic, causing Jane Foster and Daisy's heartbeats to involuntarily quicken.
Their cheeks became even redder, and a hint of shyness flashed in their eyes.
But they showed no resistance; instead, they were very expectant.
After all, it wasn't the first time.
Lin Feng said nothing more; a spring night is worth a thousand gold, and he directly led the two towards the bedroom.
They were about to spend a wonderful night.
The bedroom door slowly closed, shutting out all noise, with no sound escaping.
But the night for the three had just begun... Ten thousand.
86: The tesseract Stolen!
A few hours later, Jane Foster and Daisy fell into a satisfied sleep.
Lin Feng's figure merged into the Shadow, arriving in the World of Shadows.
He mentally summoned the Aether Particle.
Buzz, buzz, buzz!
Feeling the extraordinary power within it, Lin Feng's Demon Bloodline surged, and his talent for devouring all things was unleashed.
Purple-black airflow spun wildly, forming a huge vortex.
It tightly enveloped Lin Feng at its center.
[Devour!]
In the depths of Lin Feng's consciousness, an ancient and domineering voice echoed; it was the instinct of the Demon Bloodline.
The red energy released by the Aether Particle surged into Lin Feng's body like a tide, yet it was instantly devoured by the Demon Bloodline, without causing a single ripple.
Lin Feng's body was like a bottomless black hole, greedily absorbing all energy.
On the surface of his skin, the purple-black Texturebecame clearer, like mysterious runes, shimmering with an eerie light.
Muscles bulged, veins popped, every inch filled with explosive power.
[Stronger!]
Only this one thought remained in Lin Feng's mind.
He could feel his power growing at an unimaginable rate, as if endlessly.
This feeling made his blood boil, almost driving him mad.
He tightly closed his eyes, clenching his jaw, enduring the excruciating pain brought by the energy impact.
But this pain only made him more excited.
He craved greater power, craved control over everything.
[Not enough... Far from enough!]
Lin Feng roared in his heart.
He wanted to become stronger, strong enough to break all shackles, strong enough to make those who once looked down on him tremble at his feet.
The energy of the Aether Particle, under the devour of the Demon Bloodline, gradually transformed into Lin Feng's own power.
His body was undergoing a qualitative change.
Not just an increase in strength, but also a leap in life level.
Ch:104
He could feel his five senses becoming sharper, his perception of his surroundings clearer, even vaguely detecting the flow of energy in the air.
"Is this… the feeling of evolution?"
A sudden realization dawned on Lin Feng.
He knew he was embarking on an unprecedented path, a path leading to ultimate power.
This path was full of challenges and dangers.
But he was fearless.
Because he possessed the Demon bloodline, with the potential for infinite consumption and infinite evolution.
He would fully unleash this potential and crush all enemies that stood in his way!
As time passed, the purplish-black aura around Lin Feng grew denser, almost solidifying.
His body was gradually enveloped by a purplish-black glow, emitting a terrifying aura.
The air in the room seemed to freeze.
Only the furiously spinning energy vortex still indicated that this astonishing transformation was ongoing.
Meanwhile, at a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. base.
Under dim lighting, the metallic walls of the experimental zone reflected a cold sheen.
The Tesseract floated in mid-air, its faint blue light now like a restless beast, its halo twisting, flickering erratically.
Professor Erik stared intently at the wildly fluctuating readings on the instruments, fine beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
He had never seen the Tesseract so out of control.
"Energy fluctuations are abnormal… exceeding the threshold… and still rising!"
He muttered to himself, his fingers flying across the keyboard, trying to stabilize this rampant power.
Hawkeye stood by, his hand already on the grip of his pistol at his waist, his sharp gaze sweeping the surroundings, muscles taut, ready to respond to any sudden situation.
"Professor, what's happening?"
His voice was low, with a hint of wariness.
"The Tesseract… it… it seems to be out of control!"
Professor Erik's voice trembled slightly; he knew how terrifying the energy contained within this cosmic treasure was.
"Should we contact the Director and the others?"
Hawkeye pressed, knowing that an anomaly of this level was beyond their handling.
Earlier in the day, the Director and Dr. Banner had been invited to S.H.I.E.L.D. by Nick Fury.
Originally, these two were in charge of the research.
But now, with the Director and Dr. Banner absent, the situation was already trending towards being out of control.
"Yes! Quickly contact…"
Just as Professor Erik was about to nod, the Tesseract suddenly erupted with blinding light, and the entire experimental zone shook violently.
"Buzz—"
Amidst a piercing hum that stung the eardrums, the blue light at the center of the Tesseract suddenly collapsed inward, forming a pitch-black vortex… The vortex spun rapidly, growing larger and larger, as if connected to another unknown world.
"Watch out!"
Hawkeye roared, instinctively tackling Professor Erik to the ground.
The next second, a figure slowly emerged from the vortex.
He wore dark green and gold armor, a horned helmet, and held a scepter that glowed with a faint blue light.
The armor's patterns were intricate and ancient, seemingly containing some mysterious power.
The gem at the top of the scepter, like a beating heart, emitted a terrifying pulsation.
The newcomer was Loki.
He looked around, a playful smile on his lips, his gaze finally falling on Professor Erik, who was protected by Hawkeye.
Professor Erik and Hawkeye were stunned.
They had never seen such a sight; it completely exceeded their understanding.
"You… who are you?"
Professor Erik struggled to get up, his voice distorted by fear.
Loki did not answer, merely slowly raised the scepter in his hand.
The gem at the top of the scepter suddenly lit up, and a faint blue light instantly enveloped Professor Erik and Hawkeye.
"Ugh…"
Both let out a groan simultaneously, their eyes becoming vacant, as if they had lost their souls.
Loki's lips curved into a satisfied arc.
"Master."
Professor Erik and Hawkeye's voices rang out simultaneously, mechanical and cold, like puppets on a string.
Loki stepped towards the Tesseract; he could feel the immense energy contained within it.
This energy made the blood in his veins boil.
"Is this the treasure Thanos desires?"
He murmured, his eyes filled with greed and excitement.
"With this, I can open a portal and bring the Chitauri army to Earth…"
His voice gradually grew higher, with a hint of madness.
"To complete my… ascension to godhood!"
He abruptly pointed the scepter at the Tesseract, the gem on the scepter and the Tesseract reflecting each other.
The entire experimental zone was enveloped in a faint blue light… 87: Nick Fury's mentality collapsed!
Meanwhile, on the other side.
Lin Feng sat cross-legged, surrounded by a purplish-black aura—the power of the Demon bloodline.
His body was like a bottomless pit, furiously devouring the red energy released by the Aether.
The Aether's energy was violent and powerful, but the Demon bloodline was even more overbearing.
It was like a greedy glutton, constantly converting this energy into its own nourishment.
Lin Feng's body was undergoing astonishing changes.
His muscles became more knotted, and purplish-black patterns faintly appeared on his skin.
His eyes also turned crimson, filled with a wild and violent aura.
"Devour… evolve… stronger…"
In Lin Feng's mind, only this thought remained.
He could feel his power growing at an incredible speed.
This feeling intoxicated him, making him unable to extricate himself.
He wanted to become stronger, strong enough to control his own destiny, strong enough to… destroy everything!
Buzz buzz buzz!
The violent energy within the Aether was frantically devoured and refined by him.
Lin Feng's breathing gradually became heavy.
Each breath was accompanied by the expulsion and intake of energy, like a primeval beast accumulating power to destroy everything.
His eyes had completely turned crimson, filled with wildness and ferocity.
Like an enraged beast, ready to pounce and devour at any moment.
"Just a little more… just a little more!"
Lin Feng's consciousness was nearing a blur.
But he still gritted his teeth and persevered.
He knew this was the most crucial moment; once he gave up, all his efforts would be in vain.
He would never allow himself to fail.
He wanted to succeed, he wanted to become stronger!
Finally, at one moment, Lin Feng's body suddenly shook.
He felt as if something within him had shattered with a bang.
An unprecedented surge of powerful energy instantly filled his limbs and bones.
He broke through!
Lin Feng's heart swelled with ecstasy.
He knew he had succeeded.
He had successfully devoured and refined the Aether's energy, greatly enhancing his strength.
He slowly opened his eyes, and in his crimson pupils, a terrifying light flickered.
He stood up, feeling the surging power within him, a cold smile curling on his lips.
"Now I… am stronger…"
Lin Feng slowly reined in his aura, and the purplish-black light gradually receded into his body.
He clenched his fists, feeling the power surging within him, like a volcano ready to erupt at any moment.
"This feeling…"
Lin Feng murmured, a hint of uncontrollable excitement in his voice.
He could clearly feel that his physical strength, reaction speed, and even sensory abilities had reached an unprecedented height.
"My strength is now on par with a Skyfather!"
A surge of pride welled up in Lin Feng's heart; this power was enough to make him stand above all others.
Just then, a faint buzzing sound suddenly rang in his ears.
This sound did not come from the outside but directly from his mind, like some mysterious summons.
Buzz buzz buzz!
Lin Feng's mind stirred, and his consciousness instantly connected with the Shadow Legion far away at the S.H.I.E.L.D. secret base.
The next moment, a bizarre scene appeared in his mind.
Inside the S.H.I.E.L.D. base.
Loki had a sinister smile on his lips, his eyes filled with mockery and playfulness.
Professor Erik and Hawkeye, controlled by his scepter, had vacant eyes, like walking corpses, mechanically obeying Loki's commands.
Buzz buzz buzz!
Loki abruptly pointed the scepter at the Tesseract, the gem on the scepter and the Tesseract reflecting each other.
The entire experimental zone was enveloped in a faint blue light.
Then, Loki, with the Tesseract and the two controlled individuals, vanished into the darkness.
Ch:105
Only the destroyed Base remained, a scene of utter devastation and desolation.
Lin Feng's consciousness withdrew from the Shadow Legion's perspective, his brow furrowing slightly.
"The Battle of New York… is it about to begin?"
He murmured to himself, a glint flashing in his eyes.
He knew this battle would be a crucial turning point for the Marvel Universe, and an excellent opportunity for him to gain more power.
But he wasn't in a hurry to act; instead, he waited quietly.
He was waiting for the right moment, a moment that would allow him to gain the maximum benefit.
"This is a classic scene!"
Lin Feng thought to himself, a flicker of anticipation in his eyes.
He believed that as long as he seized the opportunity, he would undoubtedly achieve unimaginable gains in this great battle.
He intended to use this chaos to push his power to a higher peak.
Lin Feng took a deep breath, calmed his surging emotions, and began to silently accumulate power.
He knew the real challenge had just begun.
And he was ready.
S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, Director's Office.
Nick Fury's face was grim, a cold light flickering in his deep, solitary eye.
He had just received news that made his heart pound:
S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secret Base, used for researching the tesseract, had been attacked.
"All personnel involved in the research and guard… have been sacrificed."
Through the communicator, Coulson's voice was low and heavy.
Every word was like a boulder, heavily striking Nick Fury's heart.
He clenched his fists suddenly, his knuckles turning white from the force.
"What about Professor Erik and Hawkeye?"
Nick Fury's voice was hoarse, with a subtle tremor.
He forced himself to calm down; now was not the time to panic.
"They… are missing. The tesseract… has also been stolen."
Coulson's voice was filled with self-reproach and helplessness.
Nick Fury's pupils contracted sharply, as if pricked by a needle.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm the turbulent waves within him.
"Retrieve the on-site surveillance footage. I want to know… exactly what happened."
His voice was low and authoritative, every word squeezed out through gritted teeth.
"Yes, Officer."
Coulson responded immediately.
Soon, the surveillance footage was retrieved and projected onto the large screen in the office.
In the footage, the secret Base's experimental area was a mess, various instruments and equipment completely destroyed, and the bodies of researchers and guards lay scattered on the ground.
Blood stained the floor, and the air was thick with the smell of blood.
"This… this is a Carnage…"
A flicker of pain crossed Nick Fury's eyes; these were S.H.I.E.L.D.'s elites, all dead overnight.
He suppressed his grief and continued to watch the surveillance footage.
Suddenly, a strange figure appeared in the frame.
He wore dark green and gold armor, a horned helmet, and held a scepter glowing with a faint blue light… 88: tesseract! Portal!
"It's him…!"
A shock flashed in Nick Fury's eyes; he recognized the person—Loki.
The Loki from Asgard.
In the footage, Loki used the scepter to control Professor Erik and Hawkeye.
He even made them destroy the entire Base with their own hands.
Finally, he took the tesseract.
"Bastard…!"
Nick Fury slammed his fist onto the desk, the hard surface instantly denting.
He never expected Loki to appear on Earth, and to steal the tesseract.
The energy contained in this cosmic treasure was terrifying; if it fell into evil hands, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Coulson, immediately contact Big Boss and Dr. Green, tell them… the situation is urgent, we need their help."
Nick Fury's voice was filled with anxiety and urgency.
He knew that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s current power was no match for Loki.
They had to rely on the wisdom and strength of Big Bossand Dr. Green to possibly recover the tesseract.
"Understood, Officer."
Coulson responded immediately.
A few minutes later, Big Boss and Dr. Green rushed into the Director's Office.
Nick Fury showed them the surveillance footage and explained the situation in detail.
"The tesseract… has fallen into Loki's hands?"
Big Boss looked at the surveillance footage, his brows tightly furrowed, his expression grave.
"This… is big trouble…"
Dr. Green's voice was low, with a hint of worry.
He knew the power of the tesseract; if Loki used it, it would bring catastrophic disaster to Earth.
"Gentlemen, now is not the time to dwell on that."
Nick Fury's voice was filled with determination and resolve.
"We must find Loki as soon as possible and retrieve the tesseract."
"Director Fury, I can develop a special device that can detect the gamma fluctuations emitted by the tesseract to pinpoint its location."
Big Boss pondered for a moment and offered his suggestion.
"I… I can help manyˇ…"
Dr. Green's voice was hesitant, but he still nodded firmly.
He knew that the Hulk within him possessed immense power, which might be able to fight Loki.
"Very good, gentlemen, I'm counting on you."
A glimmer of hope flashed in Nick Fury's eyes.
"S.H.I.E.L.D. will provide all necessary resources and assistance. Please… you must… retrieve the tesseract."
His voice was filled with gratitude and trust.
"I'll do my best!"
Big Boss's expression was calm, a meaningful cunning glinting in his eyes.
He knew very well that everything was under his Master's control!
Meanwhile, on the other side.
Loki, along with Professor Erik and Hawkeye, had gone into hiding.
Inside the dilapidated Base, dust swirled, and the air was thick with a musty smell.
Loki casually tossed the Tesseract in his hand onto a cobweb-covered table, making a dull thud.
"So, you mean, this little blue cube isn't enough for my army to descend?"
Loki raised an eyebrow, a mocking smirk playing on his lips.
Professor Erik wiped the sweat from his forehead; he knew this self-proclaimed god was capricious and quickly explained:
"Theoretically, the Tesseract contains enough energy to open a portal, but… we need a stable 'framework' to guide the energy, otherwise the spatial channel will instantly collapse, and we also need… a massive amount of energy."
"Useless, a bunch of useless people!"
Loki violently waved his hand, sweeping the instruments on the table to the ground, where they shattered.
"I gave you power, not for you to tell me 'no'!"
Hawkeye had been standing silently by, and he accurately caught the hint of impatience in Loki's words, speaking at the opportune moment:
"I know S.H.I.E.L.D. has several secret Bases, where we might find the materials we need, such as iridium. As for energy…"
He paused, his gaze shifting elsewhere.
"Stark Industries' arc reactor is currently the strongest known energy source."
Professor Erik nodded in agreement, adding:
"However, there's a rare metal used to stabilize spatial structures, and currently, only a Collector in Germany has it. Getting our hands on it might not be easy."
Loki snorted, disdainfully saying:
"Mere mortals, what can they do to me? You just prepare the portal; the rest, leave it to me."
With that, Loki's figure instantly vanished into the air, leaving only faint magic fluctuations… Night fell, and on the outskirts of Stuttgart, Germany, a Gothic mansion stood silently.
Outside the mansion, ancient trees reached to the sky, their branches intertwined, like countless ghostly hands reaching upwards, a dense, oppressive mass, exuding an eerie chill.
"Whoosh…"
A gust of wind swept through, rustling the fallen leaves, adding to the strangeness.
Loki's figure appeared silently outside the mansion.
He looked up, a green glint flashing in his pupils.
Inside the mansion, lights were bright, and shadowy figures were vaguely visible.
But none of this could obstruct Loki's sight.
He "saw" that deep within the mansion, in a sealed Underground Room, lay what he wanted.
"Hmph, mortals."
Loki's lips curved into a disdainful sneer.
In his eyes, these so-called defenses were nothing but a facade.
He slowly walked towards the mansion, each step like a beat on a human heart, steady and powerful.
The mansion's iron gate was tightly closed, adorned with intricate patterns and an ancient family crest.
Loki reached the gate and flicked his finger lightly.
Ch:106
Crack..."
The seemingly solid iron door instantly turned into dust, scattering everywhere.
Alarms blared suddenly, their shrill sound piercing the night sky.
Inside the manor, chaos erupted instantly.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
"Quick! Protect the target!"
A group of security guards in black uniforms, armed with firearms, swarmed in from all directions.
Their expressions were tense, as if facing a formidable enemy.
(Zhao Hao)
"Bang bang bang!"
Gunshots rang out, and bullets rained down on Loki.
However, Loki merely waved his hand gently.
An invisible barrier appeared before him.
Bullets struck the barrier, bouncing off and falling to the ground with a crisp "clink" sound.
"A bunch of ants."
A hint of disdain flashed in Loki's eyes.
He didn't even bother to lift a finger, simply walking forward at a leisurely pace.
With each step, the aura around him grew stronger.
That invisible pressure, like a towering mountain, bore down on the security guards.
"Thud... thud..."
The security guards' faces turned pale, their legs went weak, and they successively knelt to the ground.
The firearms in their hands also clattered to the ground.
"Ah..."
Someone let out a terrified scream, attempting to flee.
But their bodies seemed to be frozen, unable to move... 89: Battle of New York?! Loki Ascends!
Loki proceeded unimpeded, arriving at the main building of the manor.
This was a typical Gothic building, with towering spires and huge stained-glass windows, appearing particularly eerie in the night.
"Thump thump thump..."
Heavy footsteps echoed through the empty corridor.
Loki entered the main building, passed through several corridors, and arrived before a heavy oak door.
He knew that behind this door was the entrance to the Underground Room.
"Boom!"
Loki threw a punch.
The oak door instantly shattered into pieces.
A deep entrance appeared before Loki.
At the entrance, a spiral staircase descended, as if leading to the abyss of hell.
Loki walked in without hesitation.
The staircase was long, and it took a while to reach the bottom.
Before him was a narrow passage.
Along both sides of the passage, dim wall lamps were embedded, emitting a faint glow.
At the end of the passage was a massive metal door.
The metal door was covered with complex runes, shimmering with a faint light.
"Interesting."
Loki's lips curved slightly upward.
These runes were a type of ancient defensive magic.
But in Loki's eyes, they were still insignificant.
He reached out and pressed his hand against the metal door.
A powerful energy surged from his palm, injecting into the runes.
"Om..."
The runes began to twist and deform, eventually dissipating into nothingness.
"Click..."
The metal door slowly opened, revealing a vast space.
Inside the space, lights were blazing.
In the center, a huge glass container was placed.
Inside the container, a strange substance was held.
This substance displayed a deep blue color, sparkling like the starry sky.
It constantly flowed and transformed, emitting powerful energy fluctuations.
"Iridium..."
A hint of excitement flashed in Loki's eyes.
This was what he was looking for, an extremely rare metal, an excellent material for constructing spatial portals.
He walked to the glass container and carefully examined the Iridium inside.
"Such pure energy... truly rare."
Loki muttered to himself.
He reached out, wanting to touch the glass container.
Just then, a voice suddenly rang out.
"Don't move!"
A burly middle-aged man appeared behind Loki.
He held a uniquely shaped firearm, its muzzle pointed at the back of Loki's head.
"Who are you?!"
The middle-aged man shouted sternly.
His expression was tense, and fine beads of sweat seeped from his forehead.
Loki slowly turned around and looked at the middle-aged man.
"I am... your Master."
Loki's voice was low and magnetic, carrying an undeniable authority.
His eyes were as deep as an abyss, as if capable of devouring everything.
The middle-aged man met Loki's gaze and felt a chill shoot from his feet to the top of his head.
He trembled all over, the firearm in his hand almost slipping from his grasp.
"You... you..."
The middle-aged man stammered, unable to form a complete sentence.
Loki walked step by step towards the middle-aged man.
"Lay down your weapon and submit to me."
Loki's voice, like a spell, echoed in the middle-aged man's ears.
"Clang!"
The firearm in the middle-aged man's hand dropped to the ground.
His knees buckled, and he knelt before Loki.
"Master..."
The middle-aged man lowered his head, his eyes filled with blankness.
He had been completely controlled by Loki.
Loki nodded in satisfaction.
"Very good."
He walked to the glass container and gently waved his hand.
The glass container instantly shattered, and the Iridium inside slowly floated up, suspended before Loki.
Loki reached out and took the Iridium into his hand.
"Hahaha..."
Loki threw his head back and laughed, his voice full of triumph and arrogance.
"All is ready. When the Chitauri army descends, Earth... tremble!"
.
Half a day later, at a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. Base.
It was heavily guarded, and the atmosphere was solemn.
(agdg)
As one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s important secret Bases, it not only stored vital military supplies.
It also conducted cutting-edge technological research, making it a strategic location for S.H.I.E.L.D.
Hawkeye, an elite Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., now led a group of people, swaggering into the Base.
The guards, of course, trusted Hawkeye implicitly, without any suspicion.
"Officer, everything is ready."
A subordinate whispered to Hawkeye.
"Very good."
Hawkeye nodded, a barely perceptible cold smile playing on his lips.
Just as the guards were conducting their routine inspection, Hawkeye suddenly struck!
"Whoosh!"
A cold light flashed, and a guard's throat was instantly slit, blood gushing out.
"Enemy attack!"
The remaining guards hadn't even reacted before they were quickly subdued by Hawkeye and the men he brought.
"You... you..."
A guard clutched his neck, looking at Hawkeye in disbelief.
He seemed not to understand why this was happening.
"Sorry, brothers, I'm just following orders."
Ch:107
Hawkeye said expressionlessly.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Inside the Base, gunshots rang out, and sparks flew.
Hawkeye led his subordinates, sweeping through as if entering an unmanned territory.
"Quick! Move all those things away!"
Hawkeye pointed to a huge metal box and said.
"Yes, Officer!"
His subordinates immediately took action.
"Wait, take that thing too!"
Hawkeye pointed to a device flickering with blue light and said.
"Officer, what... what is this thing?"
A subordinate asked curiously.
"Stop talking nonsense, just take it when I tell you to!"
Hawkeye said impatiently.
"Yes... yes..."
The subordinate was scared and quickly shut his mouth.
Soon, all the important equipment and resources in the Base were looted by Hawkeye and his team.
"Retreat!"
With Hawkeye's command, everyone quickly evacuated.
Only a messy S.H.I.E.L.D. secret Base and a huge question mark were left behind.
Loki's plan had advanced another step.
And Earth was facing an unprecedented crisis, a huge threat from an alien race... At the same time, S.H.I.E.L.D.Headquarters.
"Bang!"
Nick Fury slammed his hand on the table, the loud sound echoing in the empty office.
"Damn it! I knew it, that Loki had ill intentions!"
He stared intently at the red alert flashing on the screen, which was the signal that a S.H.I.E.L.D. secret Base had been attacked.
Hawkeye, one of his most trusted Agents, had actually betrayed him.
"Officer, K-32 Base has confirmed loss of contact, all personnel... no one survived."
Agent Hill's voice in the communicator was low and suppressed.
Fury took a deep breath, suppressing the anger in his heart.
"Losses?"
"A large amount of experimental equipment and rare materials were stolen, including..."
Agent Hill paused.
"All research data for 'Project W.'"
Fury's pupils suddenly contracted... 90: Pepper in danger? Tony is numb!
"Project W" was S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secret research project on the energy application of the Tesseract.
"Loki... what exactly does he want to do?"
Fury paced back and forth, his mind racing.
He had to find Loki as soon as possible and stop his conspiracy.
"Big Boss! Dr. Green!"
Fury suddenly turned and rushed to the laboratory.
"How is your research going?"
He pushed open the laboratory door and quickly walked to the two men.
Big Boss and Dr. Green were gathered around a huge instrument, operating it nervously.
On the instrument, various indicator lights flickered non-stop, emitting a "humming" sound.
"Officer, we are trying to locate the Tesseract."
Big Boss replied without looking up, his hands rapidly typing on the keyboard.
"Any progress?"
Fury's voice was a bit urgent.
"Just a little more..."
Big Boss stared intently at the data flickering on the screen.
"We have developed a special detection device that can track the energy fluctuations emitted by the Tesseract."
Dr. Green explained.
"However, the Tesseract's energy is too powerful, the interference is severe, and we need time to calibrate."
"There's no time!"
Fury said decisively.
"Loki could launch an attack at any time, we must get ahead of him!"
"Officer, we..."
Big Boss wanted to say something else, but was interrupted by Fury.
"Activate the detection device now! I need to know Loki's location!"
Fury's tone was unquestionable.
Big Boss and Dr. Green exchanged glances and nodded.
"Alright, Officer, we'll do our best."
Big Boss took a deep breath and pressed a red button.
"Boom—"
The instrument emitted a huge roar, and the entire laboratory began to vibrate.
On the screen, a light spot began to flicker, constantly jumping.
"Searching for target..."
"Analyzing energy fluctuations..."
"Performing triangulation..."
The instrument's prompt sounds kept ringing.
Fury stared intently at the screen, holding his breath.
His palms began to sweat.
Success or failure, it all came down to this.
"Found it!"
Big Boss suddenly shouted.
"Target location locked!"
On the screen, the light spot stopped jumping and was fixed at one location.
Fury immediately looked at that location.
"New York... Stark Tower?"
He frowned.
Loki actually went there?
What did he want to do?
A strong sense of unease surged in Fury's heart.
Stark Tower is Tony Stark's property and a landmark building in New York.
There is a huge flow of people there; once an accident occurs, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Quickly gather all special operations teams, act immediately!"
Fury decisively ordered.
"Target: Stark Tower!"
.
As soon as Fury's order was given, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents quickly took action.
Helicopter engines roared, armored vehicles sped out of the Base, rushing towards downtown New York City... At the same time, Lin Feng was in the Shadow World.
He silently watched everything outside.
Through the Ghost Shadow Ninjas' perspective, any situation happening in New York was fully visible to him.
Even including S.H.I.E.L.D., and Loki's current movements!
Loki had made all preparations.
Once the portal opened, the Chitauri army could descend upon Earth, triggering the Battle of New York!
And at this time, S.H.I.E.L.D. had no one noteworthy to offer.
Lin Feng didn't care about the lives of others.
But the birth of a famous scene was related to whether he could obtain rewards, so he had to take it seriously!
"Shadow Legion, be ready to strike at any time!"
Lin Feng's heart stirred, and he decided to transform into the Dark Night Monarch to save the World.
He believed that his leading role in a famous scene would definitely be very interesting.
But before that, he still needed to wait for a suitable opportunity!
When everyone was plunged into despair.
That's when the protagonist should appear!
Lin Feng looked at everything outside, thinking to himself:
"Big Boss, S.H.I.E.L.D. is too weak, so you help them out! The superhero side also needs to increase its strength!"
"Yes, Master!"
...Meanwhile, Stark Tower.
Loki stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking the city below.
A cold smile curled at the corner of his mouth, and the Mind Stone in his hand flickered with an eerie blue light.
Ch:108
Behind him, Hawkeye and several controlled Agents stood guard, weapons in hand, their expressions cold.
"Such insignificant creatures."
Loki said softly:
"Soon, they will understand what a true ruler is."
0 --- Requesting flowers --- The elevator doors suddenly opened, and Pepper Potts, Tony Stark's assistant, walked in, holding a stack of files.
Seeing strangers occupying the top floor, she stopped in surprise.
"Who are you? This is a private area, you're not allowed—"
Before she could finish her sentence, Loki had already raised the Mind Stone.
A blue energy beam struck Pepper's chest, her eyes instantly turned an eerie blue, and her expression became blank.
"Take me to your chief scientist."
Loki commanded:
"Immediately."
Pepper nodded mechanically, then turned and led the way.
Loki followed her into the elevator, with Hawkeye and the other Agents close behind.
Minutes later, they arrived at Stark Industries' core research laboratory... Dr. Tom, an elderly, white-haired scientist, was intently studying a set of data.
Hearing footsteps, he looked up and saw Pepper entering with a group of strangers.
"Ms. Potts? Who are these people? They don't have authorization to enter this area."
Dr. Tom frowned.
Loki did not answer, merely raising the Mind Stone.
A blue light flashed, and Dr. Tom's eyes also turned the same blue.
"I need you to build a portal for me, using the arc reactorbeneath your building."
Loki said, his voice full of authority.
"A portal capable of connecting to the other end of the Universe."
"I need powerful energy!"
Dr. Tom replied mechanically, his voice deep:
"And a special stabilization device."
Loki smiled and took the Tesseract from within his robe; the blue cube glowed brilliantly in his hand.
"Use this," he said.
"As for the energy system and stabilization device, I believe Stark Industries' arc reactor will be the perfect choice."
Dr. Tom nodded and immediately began to work.
Under Loki's command, the controlled Stark Industriesemployees joined in, assisting Dr. Tom in constructing the portal device.
Professor Erik from S.H.I.E.L.D. was also among them.
Everyone was constantly busy.
Hawkeye walked to Loki's side and reported in a low voice:
"I have taken control of the building's security system and cut off all external communications. S.H.I.E.L.D. won't know we're here."
...Ten thousand.
91: Hulk Attacks! Loki's Famous Scene?!
Loki nodded in satisfaction:.
"Very good. Continue to monitor the surroundings, and immediately control anyone who approaches."
Before long, the portal device had taken initial shape.
Professor Erik and Dr. Tom installed the Tesseract in the center of the device, surrounded by complex energy converters and stabilizers.
The energy from the arc reactor was continuously fed into the device through specialized conduits.
"Ready, My Lord."
Professor Erik reported:
"Only your command is needed, and the portal can be activated."
Loki walked to the device, his eyes gleaming with ambition: "
Begin."
Professor Erik pressed the activation button.
The Tesseract began to vibrate violently, and the blue light grew increasingly intense, almost blinding.
A beam of energy shot out from the device, soaring straight into the sky.
At the top of Stark Tower, the energy beam tore through the sky, forming a massive spatial rift.
Through the rift, the scene of another World was faintly visible—
Huge warships, and countless restless figures.
New York City citizens looked up at the sky in horror, watching the eerie blue light and the enormous rift in the sky.
Some screamed, some took photos, and many more began to run around in panic.
At the same time, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s helicopter finally arrived near Stark Tower.
Director Fury stood at the helicopter cabin door, observing the anomaly in the sky through binoculars.
"Damn it!" he cursed, "We're too late!"
Just then, the first wave of Chitauri warriors, riding flying hoverboards, surged out of the sky rift.
They wore metallic armor, wielded energy weapons, and let out piercing howls as they swooped down towards the streets of New York.
"All units, attention!"
Director Fury ordered through the communicator.
"We are facing an alien invasion! Repeat, alien invasion! Immediately deploy defenses and protect civilians!"
S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents quickly deployed on the streets, engaging in fierce firefights with the Chitauri warriors.
Beams of energy weapons and bullets crisscrossed in the air, with explosions resounding one after another.
However, as more and more Chitauri warriors poured out of the portal, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s defenses began to crumble.
On the top floor of Stark Tower, Loki watched his masterpiece with satisfaction.
The Chitauri army poured into Earth like a tide, destroying human cities.
He was finally going to realize his ambition and become the ruler of Earth.
"Look at these ants,"
he said to Hawkeye:
"How powerless, how terrified they are. Soon, they will kneel at my feet and acknowledge me as their king."
However, Loki's triumph did not last long.
A deafening roar came from a distance, drawing his attention.
On the street, Dr. Green had transformed into the invincible Hulk.
His massive green body leaped between buildings, each punch sending Chitauri warriors flying dozens of meters.
He grabbed an abandoned car and hurled it like a javelin at a group of Chitauri warriors, triggering a series of explosions.
"Damn aliens! You shouldn't have come to Earth! This isn't your playground!"
He roared, continuing his path of destruction.
At the same time, Big Boss stood atop a building, his hands outstretched, his eyes gleaming with a strange light.
Under the control of his psychokinesis, dozens of Chitauri warriors were seized by an invisible force.
They struggled in mid-air, then were violently slammed against walls or the ground.
"Director Fury."
Big Boss said in a deep voice through the communicator:
"There are too many enemies, we need more support! You don't want New York to be destroyed by aliens, do you?"
"Mr. Lan, what do you suggest? I've already requested support!"
Director Fury's helicopter hovered near Stark Tower.
He watched the endless stream of Chitauri forces pouring out of the portal, his expression grim.
"I've already contacted the Military."
"The Air Force and Army are on their way. But we must find a way to close the portal, otherwise this battle will never end."
Just then, a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent rushed into the helicopter cockpit:
"Officer! We've intercepted communications from inside Stark Tower! The portal is powered by both the Tesseractand the arc reactor! If we can shut down the energy, or directly destroy the control device, the portal will close!"
Director Fury immediately made a decision:
"All special operations personnel, listen up! Target the top-floor laboratory of Stark Tower! We must destroy that portal device!"
However, entering Stark Tower was not easy 0... Loki had deployed mind-controlled guards throughout the building, including Stark Industries security personnel and some S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents.
Every entrance was heavily guarded.
On the streets, the situation was getting worse.
Chitauri warriors continuously poured in. They destroyed buildings and attacked civilians, plunging all of New Yorkinto unprecedented chaos.
Despite Hulk and Big Boss fighting valiantly.
They were only two people, unable to stop an entire alien army.
"We need a plan."
Director Fury said into the communicator.
"We must find a way to get close to that portal device."
Big Boss's voice came through the communicator:
"Director Fury, I have an idea. If I can get close to Loki, maybe I can use psychokinesis to interfere with his Mind Stone. Then he won't be able to control those brainwashed people."
"That's too dangerous."
Director Fury objected: "Loki is no ordinary enemy; he is Loki from mythology."
"But we have no choice."
Big Boss insisted:
"Dr. Green can create a diversion, attracting Loki's attention, while I can seize the opportunity to get close."
Director Fury was silent for a moment, then finally nodded in agreement:
"Alright, execute your plan. But be careful; if things go wrong, retreat immediately."
Big Boss and Dr. Green began to move towards Stark Tower.
Dr. Green was responsible for attracting fire head-on.
3.6 He roared as he charged towards the building, drawing the attack of a large number of Chitauri warriors.
