Arc 1 (Ch.1–20): Childhood in Coldwater Village; martial spirit awakening (a faint ice crystal), mocked as useless. He slowly trains with perseverance.
Arc 2 (Ch.21–40): First encounters with spirit beasts; harsh hunts in frozen forests. With cleverness, he kills his first spirit beast and gains his first ring.
Arc 3 (Ch.41–70): Finding love in the village; forming bonds; creating techniques specializing in survival more than dominance.
Arc 4 (Ch.71–100): Founds the Leng Clan by marrying and passing on his survival-style cultivation techniques. Ends life as a respected elder, watching his young children awaken their martial spirits slightly stronger than him.
Ending: Dies fulfilled but weak in power. Leaves behind 2 descendants. His reincarnation is triggered.
