Chapter 6 - Weeping of Argahan Chapter 5

The first rays of the morning sun filtered into the inn's room. Aelir opened his eyes with a mix of excitement and slight tension. Today was the long-awaited first day of training that Old Gurkant had spoken of. His heart raced with a combination of curiosity and a touch of anxiety.

At the door, Gurkant was waiting.

— "Are you ready, Aelir?" the old man asked calmly.

— "Yes… I think so," Aelir replied, swallowing nervously.

Gurkant smiled faintly and led Aelir to the training area at the back of the inn. The garden was simple but well-prepared for practice: target boards, various wooden weapons, and an open space where Aelir could sense and work with aura. The gentle breeze rustled the leaves, and the first light of day shimmered across the grass.

— "First and foremost, your body must be ready," Gurkant said, watching Aelir's movements. "Mind and body must work together."

As Aelir performed his warm-up exercises, he whispered to himself, Today might change everything… maybe I'll finally start to feel strong.

After a while, Gurkant began explaining the concept of aura:

— "Aura is the outward expression of the energy and power within you. Every person has the capacity to sense aura, but for a normal human, the upper limit is the color purple. White, green, blue, and purple layers indicate a person's potential and level of experience."

Aelir listened intently, his eyes fixed on Gurkant.

— "But there are exceptions," Gurkant added with a serious expression. "Those with noble blood or extraordinary power can possess yellow or golden auras. These levels represent strength and determination far beyond the reach of ordinary people. If you encounter someone with a yellow or golden aura, remember that this person is powerful not only physically but also spiritually."

Then Aelir tried to sense and manifest his own aura. At first, faint white and green hues appeared, but the intensity of the child's curiosity and will made the colors shine brighter. Gurkant watched silently, his eyes betraying both focus and admiration.

— "Sensing aura is not just a measure of strength," Gurkant said as he approached Aelir, "it's a reflection of your personality and soul. The more balanced your concentration and emotions, the stronger you can wield your aura."

Aelir took a deep breath. For the first time, he could see his inner power and potential. A mix of courage and a sense of new responsibility welled up inside him. With his small hands, he lightly extended his energy into the surroundings, watching white and green hues dance before his eyes. Gurkant noticed this, though he had yet to grasp the significance of the subtle tones emerging in Aelir's aura.

— "Well done, Aelir. But this is only the beginning," Gurkant said, thinking to himself, In the future… there will be more than I expected.

Aelir was thrilled to feel the aura for the first time. Afterward, he observed his surroundings carefully, noticing faint, colorful wisps of energy above people. Each hue and intensity differed. Curious, he turned to Gurkant and studied him. Around the sturdy, reassuring figure, a purple aura shimmered. Seeing this, Aelir thought to himself in awe: So this is why Gurkant Desir saved Cedric Espera's life… having a purple aura… it's truly rare.

By the time Aelir completed his first day of training, he lifted his head toward the sky, energized by the experience of sensing aura. Inside, he felt both excitement and pride. Perhaps, a new path had opened for him.

And in that moment, Aelir's first experience with sensing aura became a harbinger of the great trials and secrets he would face in the future.
