Elena leans on Pierre as he tries to provide her support because she feels weak; meanwhile, Alex still cannot believe what just happened. He's not used to his best friend going full warrior mode, but she did, and it's just as scary yet amazing as the last time she did it.
They're also both watching the bodies of the burnt witches on the floor. Yep, Elena did that, and that is to prove she is the most powerful fairy in the whole world. And that, yes, there are in fact creatures of darkness, especially witches looking for her to end her.
The doors open, and Elena flinches. Pierre and Alex, on the other hand, are ready to fight anyone who dares to come close to Elena, but it's not witches, but fairies, specifically the ones who run this train and following them are elves, knights who protect the nation from danger.
"Welcome, Prin-" The fairy man with the green hair gasps at the sight of both Elena and the burnt witches. It happened so fast, his eyes went wide in surprise when he saw Elena's face, and it turned into one of aghast when he saw the witches roasted alive.
He runs out of the train to throw up, and his assistant follows him out of the train to support him, but before leaving, he looks at Elena in awe, is it at the fact that she's beautiful or the fact that the princess is back? Probably both.
A tall silver silver-haired old man wearing all black gestures to other silver-haired people to go and pack up the burnt-up bodies behind Elena, Alex and Pierre. The tall man walks over to them, and Pierre lets go of Elena, and she stands on her own. She's okay now.
She sees that Alex and Pierre are standing in a salute, their legs are jammed together, and their right hand are on their chest.
"Sir!" they both say.
"Walker, Badeaux, well done, you did well bringing the princess back," he says in an accent. His blue eyes shoot at Elena, and Elena has been looking at him since he spoke, and she doesn't seem to be looking away.
He's old but doesn't necessarily look old; he has wrinkles, but he's tall and buff. He works out a lot, even though he's physically strong. Alex explained to her that elves work out to have stamina when it comes to fighting monsters.
This man is so hot.
"Princess Elena," he bows, and Elena's eyes move sideways. The knights behind him do the same thing.
She is most definitely not going to get used to this.
"Uh, hello, nice to meet you," she says awkwardly. She doesn't like the feeling or the word awkward.
But she feels that way right now. Never has she ever had people bow down to her, but she's a princess, and they're meant to do it.
"Nice to meet you, too, princess," the tall, buff knight says to her. "I am Gustavo Rodriguez, and I am the knight commander at the Sun City Knight Department. I am sorry for the…" he looks at the other knights who are carrying the burnt witches. "Inconvenience," he says with disgust. They all have a disgusted look on their faces. Fairies and elves really hate witches.
And rightfully so.
"It's- it's fine."
"No, it's not fine, we don't know how they got in here, again, we apologise for the inconvenience." he looks really sorry, and Alex and Pierre are still standing in salute.
"Please, you can release yourselves," Gustavo says to both of them. And they put their hands down. "The limo is outside, we're going to shield the princess into the limo. There are a lot of people outside waiting to see the princess after King Conrad announced last night that the princess would be coming back."
"Yes, sir!" they both say in unison. Elena thinks it's pretty hot that Pierre says "yes, sir" She tries her best not to blush.
"Okay, princess, welcome to Engardia." He winks at her and then turns around, ordering the other knights to move forward.
Are elves naturally hot?
They all walk out of the train.
"You are going to love it," Alex whispers to Elena, and Elena looks up at him, smiling. Then the three of them follow the knights out of the train. Elena looks back at the stain left by the witches. There are chills in her body.
She's proud of herself for defending herself and not being a damsel in distress, but the thing is, she doesn't know how she did it.
As soon as she walks out, she hears a lot of people screaming and yelling, calling her name. There are so many fairies with blond hair, light fairies.
They're in the continent Euroix, the continent ruled by fairies, and they're in Sun City, which is in Engardia. Sun City is the London of Engardia. And the people who live in Engardia are light fairies.
But Sun City is a diverse city where different fairies come together to live in harmony. There are different fairies in the crowd, fire fairies with red hair, and snow fairies with pure white hair, but there are more light fairies amongst them.
A little girl with blonde pigtails has her beautiful star-stunned wings out, and she's in the air showing a sign.
"WELCOM BACK HOME, PRINCESS ELENA!"
"Awww." Elena puckers her lips, and then she blows her a kiss. Elena then starts to wave at the people.
"Hi guys! You all look amazing, so beautiful," and she really means it because they are extremely beautiful. "YEAH!" She yells in a raspy voice, showing them the rock and roll sign with her fingers.
They all clap for her. Elena's rock and roll hands are in the air until she reaches the limo. Pierre goes in, and Elena is supposed to be next, so she sits in the middle. She stares at the seat first before she looks at Gustavo.
"Uh, can I sit at the edge. I want to see Sun City," she wants her head out the window so she can be able to see the world that Alex has been talking about. Yes, sitting next to Pierre would be great, but sitting next to the window looking at this beautiful world would be even greater.
"But you have to stay in the middle, for your safety."
"Please, please, please," she says, pouting her lips and giving him puppy dog eyes.
Gustavo sighs, trying to figure out what to do.
"She's not going to give up, sir; she's very stubborn," Alex says to Gustavo.
"I am," she says, nodding her head slowly.
"Okay, fine," he finally agrees.
"YES!" Elena rejoices with her hands up in the air. "Thank you, Gustavo," she says. Then Alex goes into the limo, and Elena is about to get in, but she waves at her fans one last time before getting into the pixie dust-powered limo.
She giggles. "Wow, those fairies are so fucking fun."
"Some fairies aren't so fun," Alex mutters, and Elena has a feeling he's talking about Pierre's ex.
Poor guy. Elena thinks to herself.
The limo moves, and she can still hear people screaming. And she brings herself out of the window, waving at the people.
"I LOVE YOU ALL!"
"Elena, get back in!"
"Oops, sorry, babes," she puts her head into the limo, and she looks out the window, and she doesn't really feel like averting her eyes from the outside world.
First off, the sky here is very blue, and there are several different rainbows in the sky. The sun that gives her energy is so golden, even more golden than the sun on Earth. The clouds are pink and they look like cotton candy.
Different fairies are flying in the air, going about their day, and it looks so beautiful. The streets are so clean, and the buildings are whimsical.
Elena spots a large clock tower that's magical; it floats in the air, and there are magical billboards that show different adverts. There's one ad that Elena doesn't look away from, and it's an ad of a pretty popstar with long red hair called Lucretia. She looks so fucking hot.
She cannot wait to listen to her music.
Everyone here is so beautiful, and it all feels surreal that she's finally here. Fairies flying in the air, some walking with their shopping bags and people either use carriages or cars as a mode of transportation. Her mouth drops when she sees a unicorn, her mane has different colours, and her body is white.
Beautiful. Just beautiful. She's getting emotional.
There's a golden statue in the middle of the road, a statue of a fairy holding a sword and shield. She looks so majestic and brave.
They've reached a part where the buildings are replaced by trees. Many beautiful trees painted in browns, yellows and reds. It is the fall season after all. There are pretty pixies fluttering around the trees.
They're on their way to Luminance Palace, and she can see it in the distance. And Elena feels nervous all of a sudden, she's going to meet her family.
