After everyone had settled and taken in the sights, the butler stood on a small platform in the main hall.
He held a scroll in his hand and his voice, though not loud, carried through the room.
"Good morning, everyone," he began.
"Welcome to the Rose Home. His Highness, Prince Alaric Blake, and Her Highness, Princess Daphne Blake, have built this home to give you a fresh start. To ensure peace and order, we have a few rules and a management system in place."
He unrolled the scroll, his eyes sweeping over the quiet faces in the room.
"First, each of you will be assigned a room. Each room will accommodate four women. Your children's quarters are separate, where nannies will be available to care for them through the night."
"Second, meals will be served at specific times: breakfast at 9 a.m., lunch at 2 p.m., and dinner at 6 p.m.
