Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 - Approaching the Second Scenario.

Hyunwoo walked along the ruined city streets, the tip of his shoe kicking a loose pebble. Each step echoed between the empty buildings, adding to the oppressive silence.

"Emm... since the first scenario is over, I have to wait for the second one to start," he muttered. His face showed happiness, but there was a hint of worry in his eyes. He sighed, trying to calm himself, but his heart was beating a little faster than usual.

Kim Hyunwoo looked around, taking in the destroyed houses. Skyscrapers had lost parts of their facades, revealing empty and dark interiors. Dust swirled in the air, making his eyes sting slightly.

"Wow, crazy. This place used to be so lively. Now it's like a ghost town," he mumbled, shaking his head. He couldn't imagine how this place could have changed so drastically in such a short time. Once, these streets were full of people and cars. Now, there were only ruins and silence.

He realized that someone was following him from behind, but he didn't care at all. This had happened too often. He was used to being the center of attention, even though he didn't want to be.

'Who exactly is following me?' Curiosity filled his mind, but he chose to ignore it. Maybe it was just one of the constellations curious about him.

Kim Hyunwoo stopped walking and disappeared from view. He used his ability to hide, leaving his follower in confusion.

"Where did Kim Hyunwoo go? I felt him right in front of me," Soomin muttered, her face puzzled. She looked around, searching for the figure that had suddenly vanished. There was a hint of frustration in her voice.

On Top of a Building.

Kim Hyunwoo, who had suddenly disappeared from Soomin's sight, now stood on top of a building that was still intact. The wind blew strongly, whipping his hair and carrying the smell of dust and smoke. From this height, he could clearly see who was following him.

"Turns out it's you, Han Soomin. But why is Han Soomin following me?" he muttered, his face puzzled. He didn't understand why this girl was always following him. What did she want?

He disappeared again from the top of the building, then reappeared on the street, continuing his journey. He had to find a safe place to rest.

"Oh yeah, I forgot. Why did I get the sword? Shouldn't the main character have taken it?" he mumbled, slapping his forehead. His eyes flashed with curiosity and confusion. Why did fate change?

He kept thinking about the sword, the sword that should have been taken by the main character from the novel he read. Why did he get it? Was this a sign that he had a bigger role in this story?

Hyunwoo didn't realize that he was now famous and coveted by the constellations. They were interested in his existence and wanted to make him part of their plans. He had become a pawn in a game bigger than he imagined.

He kept daydreaming because he couldn't rest peacefully. His house was destroyed by monsters, forcing him to sleep on the streets. He longed for a comfortable home and a soft bed.

"Hah... this sucks. I can only buy a house from the constellations when the system appears. But the system appears in the second scenario... Ugh," he complained with a resigned tone. He felt helpless in the face of this situation.

But as he complained, Hyunwoo saw another goblin standing still nearby. Hyunwoo's complaining face turned happy. There was a hint of curiosity in his smile.

"Heheheh..." He chuckled with a creepy smile. "Wow... there's a green thing, its head is round, its ears are long. What's its name? Goblin."

He approached the goblin with a very creepy smile, until the goblin felt chills of fear. The goblin looked at him with pleading eyes, as if begging not to be hurt.

"GIK-GIK? (Why do I feel chills and fear?)." The goblin made a soft sound, showing its fear.

Hyunwoo realized that he couldn't kill the monster because the scenario hadn't started yet. He could only observe and study them.

"Wow. So this is a goblin. I thought goblins were like peanuts," he mumbled, looking at the goblin's entire body with curiosity. He touched the goblin's skin carefully, feeling its rough and strange texture.

He touched the goblin's hand, because he was very curious. Until everyone who passed by said Hyunwoo was weird. They looked at him with disgust and fear.

"Mama. That brother is so weird, isn't he?" a little boy pointed at Hyunwoo, talking to his mother.

"Maybe he's crazy, son. Don't bother with him. We have to win in the next scenario," his mother replied, pulling her son away. She didn't want her son to deal with that weirdo.

Hyunwoo, who heard everything, ignored it. Because he was more focused on the goblin's body. He wanted to understand this creature better.

But as he continued to study the goblin's body, suddenly his ears rang, indicating that a message had entered his mind. He felt a strange vibration in his head.

"So that's it, the scenario is about to start. When we're in the second scenario, this world's floor will rise to the second floor," he mumbled, his eyes happy and excited. He looked forward to the start of the second scenario, because he knew it would bring big changes.

He walked towards a clothing store to get clothes, because he wanted to change clothes. He felt uncomfortable with the clothes he was wearing now.

"I forgot that I didn't shower when I got home. Oh well, I'd better just change clothes," he mumbled, quickening his pace. He wanted to change his clothes and feel refreshed again.

In Front of the Clothing Store.

Hyunwoo, who saw the clothing store, was no longer like a clothing store. But like a collapsed building, with a hole in the roof and cracked walls. The rubble of the building was scattered everywhere.

"Luckily, the door to enter the clothing store is not closed. Okay, let's go in and choose the clothes ourselves," he mumbled, stepping into the store. He hoped there were still decent clothes inside.

He headed to the entrance of the clothing store, even though he didn't know fashion. He just guessed what was good, as long as it was comfortable to wear and could protect him from bad weather.

Hyunwoo, who had entered the clothing store, was surprised because all the residents were in the clothing store. They jostled to choose clothes, as if this was their last chance to get something new.

"What...? I thought no one wanted to go to the clothing store. Turns out there are. Okay, let's quickly choose," he mumbled in surprise. He had to hurry if he wanted to get good clothes.

He ran as fast as he could, so as not to be snatched by the residents. Hyunwoo ran to choose clothes randomly. He took whatever looked good and fit his size.

"Okay, here are the clothes I chose. A sweater, a black and white suit, black pants. Nice, good too," he mumbled, smiling with satisfaction. He felt happy because he managed to get the clothes he wanted.

Hyunwoo, who had finished choosing clothes, headed to the changing room. But when he was in the changing room, he was very surprised, because there were too many people who wanted to change clothes. The room was packed with people who wanted to change their clothes.

"Ugh... why do there have to be so many people, wanting to change clothes. Oh well, I have to change clothes outside, but secretly," he complained with a resigned tone. He had to find another way to change his clothes.

Outside the Clothing Store.

Hyunwoo sighed, because the changing room was too full in the clothing store. He had to find another place to change clothes, a place that was quiet and safe from the sight of others.

"Okay, let's find a good place. To change clothes so as not to be caught by someone," he mumbled, looking around for a safe place. He walked along the street, looking for a hidden place.

Hyunwoo looked here and there, until he found it. He also walked continuously until he found a very good place to change clothes. The place was between two destroyed buildings, protected from the sight of passersby.

"Damn, why isn't there a good place?" he shouted with a resigned tone. He almost gave up looking for a safe place.

But as he gave up, Hyunwoo saw one place that was very suitable for changing clothes. The place was a narrow gap between two destroyed buildings, protected from the sight of passersby.

"Finally... found it too. Okay, hurry up before someone passes by," he mumbled with a relieved tone. He had to hurry before someone saw him.

Hyunwoo ran as fast as he could, before someone passed by on the road where Hyunwoo was changing clothes. He didn't want to be caught.

But when Hyunwoo was close to the changing place, he saw Soomin walking around the changing place again. He didn't expect to meet that girl again.

"Ugh, why does Han Soomin have to be in this place," he mumbled, his face very panicked. He felt unlucky because he always met that girl.

Soomin, who was walking around in that place, holding an arrow in her left hand. Her face smiled happily, as if there were no burdens on her mind. She looked relaxed and unaffected by the destruction around her.

"Where is Hyunwoo?" she mumbled, wondering. She searched for Hyunwoo's figure among the ruins.

When Hyunwoo glanced slightly, he saw Soomin was about to walk away. But his heart was still restless, as if something was about to happen. He felt a bad feeling.

"Why is my heart restless, like Soomin is going to come here again?" he mumbled with a worried tone. He felt there was something strange about that girl.

Hyunwoo decided to leave that place, looking for another place that was quiet and safe to change clothes. He didn't want to deal with Soomin.

"Ugh... this is really my life," he complained, sighing with a resigned tone. He felt his life was full of bad luck.

When Hyunwoo was a little away from that place, suddenly an excellent idea flashed through his head. He remembered something that could help him.

"I forgot why I didn't wear double clothes, ugh because I was too happy. I forgot that I could double," he mumbled, slapping his forehead. He felt stupid because he had just thought of that idea now.

He immediately took off the clothes hanger, Hyunwoo immediately wore his sweater first, then his suit. He wore both clothes at once.

"Now it's cool like this. Hmm... it's time to wait for the second scenario to appear," he mumbled, putting on a happy face because he managed to change his clothes, even though he doubled. He felt more confident in his new clothes.

But as Hyunwoo walked around the city, Hyunwoo felt a terrible aura from above. He felt the presence of someone very strong and dangerous.

"Turns out you've appeared, the main character of this novel," he mumbled, his face showing a smile, his eyes showing no fear at all. He was ready to face whatever was going to happen. He would not give up.

At the Top of the Building.

A man stood on top of the building, holding a very powerful sword. His stubborn and selfish eyes showed that he was not an easy person to give up. A third-ranker in this world named Park Jinwo. He was one of the strongest in this world.

"Emm, turns out you took my sword. But how does K.H know there's a basement in the weapon warehouse?" he mumbled, his face very curious. He wanted to know who exactly had taken his sword and how he could know about the secret room. He felt there was something strange about that person.

Jinwo, who was looking at the very beautiful setting sun, was also watching K.H (Kim Hyunwoo) with a wary expression. He felt there was something strange about that person and he had to be careful. He didn't know what that person was planning.

The Next Morning.

Hyunwoo, who was sleeping on the street because his house was destroyed, was awakened by the sun shining in his eyes. He felt dazzled and uncomfortable. He squirmed a little, trying to avoid the dazzling light.

Hyunwoo opened his eyes slowly, because there was still sleepiness attacking him. He felt tired and unmotivated.

"Oh, it's morning. The scenario will start at 8 a.m. So I have to get ready," he mumbled in a sleepy tone. He had to get up immediately and prepare himself to face the second scenario. He didn't know what was going to happen, but he had to be ready.

He stood up slowly, so as not to fall because he felt sleepy. He tried to stay focused and not lose his balance. He had to be strong.

Hyunwoo walked towards the public water, which was given by the constellations. But he knew that the constellations were not good people. They had hidden purposes. He didn't believe in their kindness.

"Indeed, the constellations are good. But in that goodness, there is a will to eradicate all the monsters in this corner," he mumbled with a cynical tone. He felt disgusted by their hypocrisy.

He used the water to erase his sleepiness. When he had wiped his face, Hyunwoo immediately looked at the clock. He wanted to know how much time was left.

Time: 07:40.

Hyunwoo was shocked, because he saw that the clock was already 7:40. The scenario would start in 20 minutes. He had to hurry. He must not be late.

"I thought it was still 6, damn because I stayed up late to see the destroyed cities," he mumbled with a regretful tone. He was too busy looking at the scenery of the destroyed city, until he forgot the time. He felt stupid.

Hyunwoo ran towards the gate of the magnificent palace, with a newly awakened breath. He ran as fast as he could, trying not to be late. He had to get there on time.

In Front of the Palace Gate.

Hyunwoo, who finally arrived at the palace gate, saw the residents who had been told from the whisper last night. They gathered in front of the gate, waiting for the scenario to begin. They looked anxious and afraid.

"Wow, crazy, it's so crowded. Yeah, it's because this scenario determines whether anyone wants to follow the tower scenario or not," he mumbled in admiration. He didn't expect there would be so many people interested in following the tower scenario. He felt curious about what was going to happen.

Suddenly, what was noisy became silent, only the wind passed by. Because of Azura's appearance. Her presence made everyone silent and afraid.

"Hello, all you loser humans. Did you sleep well?" Azura greeted with a mocking tone. She looked at them with a condescending look.

All the residents nodded slowly, because they were afraid Azura would send them to a dimension without limits. They didn't want to anger the powerful doll. They could only obey her orders.

"Hmm. Okay, the second scenario will begin, this scenario will determine. You want to play the tower scenario or not, okay I'll tell you what the second scenario tells you to do," Azura said with a cold tone. She explained the purpose of the second scenario.

"The second scenario you have to, survive from the main body of the demon god who wants to find food, the second scenario is over in 10 hours. You will be divided into teams of only 3 people, okay take the stick, if it's red you will be on the red team, understand?" Azura explained briefly.

"Understood, Lord Azura," the president of Korea replied, representing his people with a respectful tone. He represented all the residents.

Hyunwoo stepped forward first, to take the stick. He got a red stick. He felt lucky.

"Lucky. So I can be on the same team as the main character," he mumbled happily. He hoped he could work with the main character to complete this scenario.

Everyone had chosen their sticks. But Hyunwoo was not very lucky. He didn't expect to be on the same team with the person he didn't want. He felt annoyed.

"Why is Soomin here? There should only be two red sticks, but there's the main character and Soomin," he thought with an annoyed tone. He didn't want to deal with that girl.

"K.H, please cooperate," Soomin greeted with a smiling greeting. She held out her hand to shake hands. She looked friendly and sociable.

"How do you know that K.H is me?" Hyunwoo asked, his face confused. He didn't understand how that girl could know his name. He felt suspicious.

But as Soomin wanted to answer, Hyunwoo ignored her. He was more focused on Azura. He wanted to know what was going to happen next. He didn't trust Soomin.

"Okay, you're already on your respective teams. It's time to send you," Azura said happily. She snapped her fingers.

As Azura snapped her fingers, suddenly a blue light appeared under the residents' feet, rising to the top of the residents' heads. They disappeared one by one. They were sent to their destination.

"Goodbye, I hope you manage to complete the second scenario," Azura said with an evil smile. She looked forward to their failure.

In the Forest.

Hyunwoo put on a calm, cold look. Jinwo, who already knew the place, was surprised to see Hyunwoo's gaze. He felt a strong aura from that person.

"Why is K.H still calm? Could it be that Hyunwoo is the same as me, returning to the past?" Jinwo thought suspiciously. He felt there was something strange about this person.

"Okay everyone, we have to split up, otherwise we'll be found by the demon god, okay?" Jinwo said seriously. He gave instructions.

"Okay," Soomin replied briefly. She obeyed Jinwo's orders.

Everyone scattered from all sides, but Hyunwoo was still in that place, smiling. He had his own plan. He would not follow other people's plans.

"Let's finish this," he thought with a tone full of confidence. He was ready to face whatever was going to happen. He would complete this scenario in his own way.
