Inner Universe: The Night of Expansion —
While Kai slept, the universe inside him stirred.
The boundaries of his world shuddered and stretched. Oceans parted, tectonic plates moved, and from the nothingness beyond the known realms, new continents formed.
Great forests, vast deserts, floating islands, glowing lakes of liquid energy—all took shape overnight. And upon them… new life stirred.
Ema, alone on the celestial platform, tilted her head thoughtfully as creation bloomed beneath her feet.
> "He'll probably be mad at me for not asking… but I was bored."
She smiled faintly, and with divine gestures, shaped four new Primordial Races into existence.
---
> New Progenitor Races Created:
• Supreme Demons — Rulers of chaos and willpower, born from raw soul fire
• Seraphim — Winged beings of divine light, purity, and martial justice
• Inspectors — Observers of reality, manipulators of law, order, and destiny
• Beastkin Sovereigns — Godbeasts made flesh, primal rulers of instinct and evolution
Each race awoke with memories of their Creator—Kai—and began to build. Their Progenitors soon met the Old Ones who sailed across the newly expanded world.
The Supreme Council of the Progenitors was formed—an alliance of the nine divine races, where each sent their leading Progenitor to debate creation's course.

— Morning: Kai's Awakening —
Kai stirred, stretching as golden sunlight warmed his face.
He sat up, yawning. "Morning, Ema."
> "Good morning, Creator. Small update: while you slept, your universe expanded into a full planet. Also, I may have created four new races."
"…Huh?"
> "Supreme Demons, Seraphim, Inspectors, and Beastkin Sovereigns. I got a little bored."
"You—Ema!"
> "They're well-balanced! I even gave each a Progenitor. They've joined the Supreme Council. The older Progenitors met them last night."
Kai groaned, dragging a hand down his face. "I sleep once and come back to an interspecies parliament?"
> "You really should meet them, when you're less busy."
He sighed. "One god. Nine races. What could one god do

— Meanwhile: Sophie's Perspective —
Sophie Silver sat near the window in class, her silver-blonde hair cascading over her shoulder like a river of light.
To others, she was unreadable—cold, perfect, untouchable.
But inside, Sophie's thoughts burned with suspicion.
That boy… Kai.
He was different now. The air around him was clean, too clean. The way he moved—too fluid. The way her own senses couldn't pierce him—wrong.
> "He's awakened. But no signature. No aura. He's... not human anymore."
She watched him carefully as he sat a few desks over, pretending to doodle in his notebook.
Her Heavenly Flame Physique—even partially sealed—let her detect lies, fluctuations, even anomalies in time-space.
And Kai? He was an anomaly.
If he's hiding… then what is he afraid of?

— The Rooftop Kids Make Their Move —
During lunch break, Kai was on his way to the vending machine near the sports field when he heard it.
Footsteps behind him. Too quiet. Too deliberate.
He sighed. "You two really followed me?"
The two students from the roof stepped out of hiding. One was lean with messy blue hair and glowing bandages on his arms. The other, shorter, wore glasses with enchanted lenses.
The taller one smirked. "Took us a while to get you alone."
Kai didn't flinch. "And?"
"We're just curious," said the short one. "New awakeners show up all the time. But you… you're different."
Kai's eyes sharpened.
He activated obsidian Eye.

Kai mentally evaluated.
One's a physical shifter. The other's a utility type. Together, they're coordinated, but not dangerous… to me, anyway.
"Listen," Rylen said, cracking his knuckles. "We don't want a fight. But the council needs to know if you're a threat."
Kai's eyes flickered.
"…Council?"
You'll find out. Sooner or later."
Merric tilted his head. "So, what are you, Kai? Physical type? Stealth? Something else?"
Kai smiled calmly. "I'm the quiet type."
Without another word, he walked past them—slow, casual, but each step radiating absolute confidence.
Both boys stiffened as he passed.
Rylen whispered, "...Did you feel that?"
Merric nodded slowly. "He's not awakened."
Rylen looked confused. "Then what?"
Merric's voice dropped.
"He's something else."

— Back in Class —
Sophie glanced up as Kai returned to his seat, calm and unruffled.
But she felt the pressure on his soul. It had shifted.
She narrowed her eyes.
> "He didn't fight back... because he didn't need to."
