There are some truths we can never hide.....
and love is the greatest among them.
No matter how hard you try to conceal it,
it shows.
The more you run from it,
the more it chases you.
Lamai stood frozen before the wall.
Her eyes fell upon a photograph.....
not of a stranger,
but of Yim.
Beneath the picture was a story.....
the story of how the Gentle Heart Institute was born.
Every brick, every path,
every tradition of this place
had been created in memory of a single soul.
That soul was Talotkan,
the one Yim had loved.
Beside Yim's portrait hung another frame:
a photograph of Miss Fate and Talotkan.
And between them, suspended carefully,
was a pendant.....
its name inscribed in delicate letters:
"Thi Nai Sak Haeng Longloi."
The plaque beneath told its tale.
It was said that this pendant was waiting,
patiently,
for the one it belonged to.
And beneath it were Yim's own words,
the words she had often repeated to the pendant:
"It can never be lost.
One day, it will find its true owner,
no matter where in the world they may be."
But it was not the story that shook Lamai most.
It was the photograph itself.
Because she had seen that face before.
She remembered the day she had looked upon Wee's painting...
a painting where the face bore a striking resemblance
to Yim.
So vivid, so exact,
as though they were the same person.
And that memory made Lamai tremble.
...
Meanwhile, Kai's heart was restless.
A gnawing feeling told her she was walking the wrong path.
What she was doing felt…
unjust.
But at the same time,
she no longer cared about right or wrong.
What she didn't realize.....
was that she was not on the wrong path at all.
Every step she took
was leading her exactly where she was meant to be.
For now,
everyone had finally arrived
at the place destiny intended for them.
