"The [Far East Magic Association] no longer exists, and I have slain [Solomon]. You may release the news."

Black Butler's voice shot up. He rarely lost his composure, but this was truly beyond his expectations.

Kaito nodded.
"Make the existence of [Eden] fully known. I will not attack any faction that joins [Eden]... Well, not in principle."

Black Butler hesitated before shaking his head. "I'm not sure. The [Destiny] faction is highly secretive. Their upper echelons are all individuals with fate-related abilities. Divination and prophecy are useless against them, so intelligence is scarce."
Kaito nodded noncommittally.
Then, Jin Yuean handed over a tablet.
"Boss, recently a lot of Reincarnators have been hoping to use you to eliminate certain targets. Here are some of the most valuable bounties I've selected, and..."
Kaito scanned the bounties on the tablet. Most were hits on various titled Reincarnators, offering a wide array of rewards.
The highest bidder was offering 1 A-Rank Singularity and 100,000 Dimension Points for him to kill a Reincarnator codenamed [Skylark].
Jin Yuean had added a note: the clients were remnants of the [Black Beast]. Their team had been annihilated by Skylark. Knowing they couldn't win, they wanted to borrow Kaito's hand to kill him.

Jin Yuean nodded, but quickly added, "However, I've already demanded compensation from them for this. They should agree."
Kaito nodded in satisfaction. Although he had fully intended to hunt down the Mortal Sin himself, [The Heaven]'s initial condition for Su Qingqiu's release was that they would capture the Mortal Sin for him to kill.
This failure required compensation. That was how Kaito Shirogane operated.
