As he entered combat, the purple-black Satsui no Hado began to rise in his heart again.
Kaito's eyelids lowered, his smile growing more cruel as the Satsui enveloped his right hand.

The blow only scraped a line of sparks off him.
His defense, contrasted with Moon Fiend's weakness, made him feel she was no longer a threat.

The God Hand's corruption had destroyed her mind, and her "activated" body couldn't make up for the loss in combat power.

He stepped forward, his right fist wreathed in the purple-black Satsui no Hado.
Behind him, the entire row of houses on the street, as if cut like a cake, began to collapse into one-meter cubes.
Kaito threw his punch. The purple Satsui, now in his eyes, made the punch feel incredibly satisfying.

"Roooar!"
Moon Fiend roared like a beast.
Her black scales were shattered by the purple fluctuation. His fist drove straight into her body. Flesh exploded. Nerves tore.
The Satsui no Hado was a meatgrinder, and she was in agony.
In her white sea of consciousness, Moon Fiend saw a wisp of purple seep in. Her expression changed. The purple began to stain her mind.
Moon Fiend's eyes snapped open. She felt the massive pain in her gut and slashed with her right hand.

This strength... her spirit... Moon Fiend was awake.
Moon Fiend ignored her wretched state. She felt the gaping hole in her abdomen, blood and flesh dripping out.
The sight reminded her of her heart being torn out. Her pupils shrank.

The ground exploded. Moon Fiend's form vanished. Kaito looked up. She was in the air, using [Moonwalk] to flee toward the sea.
Kaito's right hand rose.
