Marcus looked up and saw Alex slowly coming down the wooden stairs one step at a time. Marcus lifted his hand and waved at Alex with a big, exaggerated motion.
When he looked closely at Alex's face, he saw a very perplexed and totally confused look on it. Seeing Alex look so lost and unsure of himself made Marcus feel a deep, warm party happening inside his chest. He internally celebrated with a lot of joy.
'Yes, yes, exactly like that,' Marcus thought to himself with glee. 'I want you to suffer more. I want you to feel bad.'
Marcus was absolutely sure that this guy standing in front of him was a total loser. He was certain of it. For one thing, trying to steal a legal wife from her lawful husband was a bad thing to do. And two, Alex was failing at it. He was failing even though he had those amazing, generational good looks and a big dick.
'Well, actually, wait,' Marcus corrected his own thought.
