*The first four grades, namely mortal, earth, sky and heaven aren't special in any way. However, the higher one's grade is, the faster their essence absorption speed but their essence purification process also becomes higher.
So even though those with a higher grade bloodline absorbed essence at a faster rate, most of that essence is discarded and purified until the only essence left matches the minimum quality for that grade.
It is possible to continue purifying the essence by yourself but that would slow down your cultivation speed even more, so very few do it.
