For the next few days, the sky screen remained quiet. Meanwhile, Luffy had successfully broken into Impel Down and caused a massive uproar. However, when he finally reached the cell where Ace was held, he discovered that the Marines had already taken Ace away ahead of time. So, Luffy set out once more. With the help of Bentham (Bon Clay), he successfully escaped Impel Down and continued on his journey to rescue Ace.

Luffy was deeply touched by his crew's resolve. Meanwhile, the follow-up to the Enies Lobby incident began playing on the sky screen.
〖"Everyone, let's go!" With Luffy's rallying cry, everyone leaped from the top of the tower, charging toward where Robin was. By now, Spandam had already taken Robin and left, but he ordered CP9 to stay behind and fight the Straw Hats. To get all the Seastone handcuff keys, the Straw Hat crew split up to fight their respective opponents.
Luffy's opponent was Blueno, a user of the Door-Door Fruit (Paramecia-type), who could open doors anywhere. After activating Gear Second and defeating him, Luffy faced off against the ultimate killing machine, Rob Lucci. Meanwhile, Sanji, unwilling to fight a woman, was paired against Kalifa. Unsurprisingly defeated, he was replaced by Nami. Nami's original opponent, Kumadori, was then handed over to Chopper. As for Franky,he fought Fukurou.
Using his Cola energy, he defeated his opponent, securing the first victory. After Chopper won his rampage-fueled fight, Nami also won her match using her Mirage Tempo. Then, the scene shifted to show Roronoa Zoro, wielding the cursed sword Sandai Kitetsu ("Sandai" meaning "third generation," part of its name), facing off against Kaku (the giraffe Zoan user) and Jabra (the wolf Zoan user).
At first, Zoro was at a disadvantage. But after Nami brought him the key, Zoro used "Asura — Ichibugin!!!" to defeat Kaku. Sanji also arrived in time,saving Nami and Usopp from Jabra. He then proceeded to stylishly kick Jabra down, avenging his earlier shame. Only Luffy was still fighting. On the other side, Spandam, who was preparing to leave, accidentally triggered the Golden Den Den Mushi, activating a Buster Call. Realizing this, he decided to abandon everyone else and flee alone.
But just as he was about to cross the Gate of Justice with Robin, an explosive projectile struck him, sending him flying over ten meters away. Then,a continuous barrage of projectiles took down the Marines present one by one. It turned out that from the top of the Tower of Justice,Sniper King was fighting with his slingshot. Thanks to Sniper King's covering fire,Franky managed to arrive and rescue Robin. But then,the sky filled with countless dark cannonballs that began bombarding Enies Lobby. The Buster Call had been activated!〗

Unfortunately, his current body could barely move, let alone accomplish anything.
Fortunately, his teacher on the island was willing to help him. For Luffy's sake, Usopp was now training hard. The training was grueling,and he had just started wanting to give up. But now, seeing so many people praising him, he felt he could persevere and keep working hard.
Meanwhile, on the Red Hair Pirates' ship...
Yasopp, seeing Usopp's performance, couldn't help but laugh heartily. "That's my son! That's my son! Hahahaha!"
"Oh! As expected of Yasopp's son! Amazing!" said the fat man, Lucky Roux.
"Indeed, his accuracy is on par with yours, Yasopp," remarked the navigator, Benn Beckman, with feeling.
"Hahahaha!"
