They were simply hating on the fact that an omega was able to pull such attention online enough to be kept on the show. They couldn't accept how popular Yujin was.
And so they hated him and the decision online, some threatening to boycott the show and the final lineup if he makes it.
But a good number of people were happy. Many fans of the show and non-fans of K-pop celebrated the win for Yujin. They were happy that an omega was able to do that, and so they blew up the news in a positive light.
