There was silence again as the therapist stared at him. Waiting for him to continue.
And he did. "I don't know whose pheromones it is. But I've been in intimate contact with this pheromone a couple of times. Subconsciously. And whenever I'm sober and all calmed down, the scent always lingers..."
The therapist listened and then said, "So you feel this scent holds the answer to your therapy."
Jaehyuk hesitated. "Maybe. Maybe my situation is just beyond redemption. But at least I feel it could help me calm down. At least have a temporary sense of comfort and relaxation. At least."
There was silence as the therapist stared at him. Jaehyuk's melancholic eyes were still on the ceiling.
"Maybe it could hold the answer to more than a temporary remedy," she finally said.
"You think?" Jaehyuk now stared at the therapist. "It's been years. And nothing has evolved. Nothing has changed. It's still as it is. Happening in the same way. Do you still think there's any room for such miracles?"
