Yujin placed a hand over his mouth in shock as he sat up in bed.
Glaring at his screen, he couldn't hide the shock that ran through his veins. He had just made a major discovery in his life. One that was about to change the game for him!
The son of the company he desperately wanted to get in had asked him out on a freaking date to meet his PARENTS!
"This is crazy..." Yujin was still trying to digest this when he got a call.
A call from a random number.
He hesitated, calming himself down while picking up the phone. "Hello? Who's it?"
"You're the roommate at room 25, right?" The voice at the other end of the line didn't seem familiar.
It seemed to Yujin that the man was struggling with carrying something at the other end of the line.
"Oh... yes?" He could only think about one thing.
His roommate??
"Open the doors, I'll be coming in soon with him." The man on the other end of the line said as he casually ended the call.
Yujin blinked, staring at his phone. He didn't completely understand what had happened, but he could only tell that his roommate was coming back soon.
He went back to digesting the shocking discovery he had just made about TaeHyun while going through his phone.
And soon enough, a knock came on the door.
"They're here."
Yujin was about to open the door when he figured that his medication was on the table. He rushed and hid it into his bag and went to open the door.
"Good evening." Seo Yujin had a broad smile on his face as he opened the door, ready to welcome his roommate.
He figured having a good relationship with his roommate could help his stay here as an omega hiding as an alpha.
But his smile fell when he saw a man holding onto another drunk young man. One he had instantly recognized as Lee Jaehyuk.
He was drunk and wasted. But that didn't stop Yujin from recognising the face of the person who ruined his career in his last life.
Seo Yujin blinked, staring at Mr. Hwang and Jaehyuk while trying to make the scene make sense.
"You're the roommate, right?" Mr. Hwang said as he "tossed" Jaehyuk towards Yujin.
Yujin found himself holding onto the wasted Jaehyuk who now fell into his side. He was supporting the huge youth with his petite physique.
Yujin staggered, still trying to understand what was happening here. "What's all this? Why is he here? What's going on here?"
He held the drunk youth at his side, staggering while he asked, his shocked eyes on Mr. Hwang.
"He's your roommate. So take care of him, okay? I have somewhere to be urgently. Thanks!" Mr. Hwang soon disappeared from the door.
Yujin stood there, jaws dropping, eyes popping while his stamina betrayed him over the drunken man that he was holding onto.
He could feel his world crumbling as the realization hit him that his roommate was Jaehyuk.
The one and only Lee Jaehyuk he wanted to stay further away from in this rebirth!
Lee Jaehyuk groaned while staggering to get his feet. He wasn't too comfortable in his current posture, especially with the "short" person holding him.
Yujin was only still panicking as he noticed Jaehyuk moving uncomfortably. He was about to throw up.
"What's it now..." He glared at the young man whom he was struggling to carry. "What do you think you're about doing?"
Lee Jaehyuk was about to throw up and he knew it. But he couldn't let his body be the target.
Bathroom.
That was the only thing that came to his mind as he dragged Jaehyuk to the bathroom like a mannequin.
Luckily, he had taken some physical training lessons. He at least had some stamina. Else he wouldn't even be able to move Jaehyuk.
"Where are we going..." While Jaehyuk mumbled drunk, Seo Yujin only evaluated his stay at the show, which was already looking pathetic with Jaehyuk being his roommate.
He feared he wasn't going to make it long with a roommate like him. One who clearly hated him now and would only want his downfall.
They arrived at the bathroom, and Yujin dragged Jaehyuk like a dead body, dragging him into the bathroom with all his might.
"You heavy pig..." He snapped as he pulled him in.
The toilet seat was inside the bathroom, but he was too lazy to pull him close there.
It was a bathroom, so he could vomit anywhere, right?
But Jaehyuk didn't vomit.
Seo Yujin simply watched as Jaehyuk sit down there on the bathroom floor, leaning his back against the wall.
He looked wasted as he rested his head against the wall, his breath getting heavy as he had both eyes closed.
Yujin was there on his knees, breathing heavily from having carried someone in here. His eyes now on Jaehyuk, who he could tell didn't feel nauseous anymore.
"Fuck," Yujin muttered as he panted profusely. At the moment, he felt his skin itching as though something had gotten to his body.
For some strange reasons... his body was also getting hotter...
Lee Jaehyuk still panted heavily, like one who had just completed a marathon.
His eyes were still shut as he now brought his hands to his shirt, rapidly unbuttoning it from the top.
"Hey, what are you doing?!* Yujin panicked. But he didn't think he could top the lad who wanted to go naked.
Seo Yujin simply panicked as he stared at Jaehyuk. He was almost shirtless and his face had gotten flushed.
He clearly looked like one burning up. His body was wet, and it clearly wasn't from water. Yujin could quickly conclude that it was from sweat.
He was clearly feeling hot within, and Yujin could tell that his body was also feeling... uncomfortable to him.
This realization struck Yujin in all negative ways because at that moment, he could also tell why his own body was feeling the way it was.
He was feeling hot. Almost sweating and uncomfortable. And his whole body was also getting aroused while a scent now played in his nostrils.
A scent that was triggering something within.
A scent that he could tell came from Lee Jaehyuk.
Lee Jaehyuk was in rut. And he was clearly suffering for that.
Because Jaehyuk's strong scent had now engulfed every bit of him.

Yujin took all these details in and his mind lost rationality.
"Your scent..." Jaehyuk now muttered, his voice husky. The strong, irresistible scent from Yujin had clearly triggered him beyond control.
