Chapter 370: Wrath of the Thunder God
"Nova Strike!"
After another exchange, Frieza seized the opportunity to smack Naruto flying, then enveloped himself in energy and charged toward Akshia.
"Frozen Sky Ice Break!"
A cone of blue frost formed in front of Akshia, resembling a spear of ice.
"Ah—!"
The energy surrounding Frieza intensified once again, effortlessly shattering the icy spear in his way. His clenched fists slammed into Akshia's abdomen, knocking her down from her Frozen Throne.
"Die!"
Frieza raised a palm toward the airborne Akshia, gathering energy into a beam and firing it without hesitation.
"Sakura!"
Naruto stared anxiously toward the explosion triggered by the blast that struck Akshia.
"Hm?"
Frieza frowned slightly and let out a puzzled grunt.
As the explosion faded, it revealed two figures shielded by a sphere of lightning—Ray was behind Akshia, supporting her while both had their right hands extended to create the protective barrier.
"The guardian deity of Planet Herka?"
Akshia stepped forward, and a new Frozen Throne materialized beneath her.
As a fellow planetary guardian, Akshia was naturally familiar with Ray.
"Naruto, are you alright?"
Ray turned to Naruto, whose body was covered in countless wounds, and asked with concern.
"I'm fine... but, who are you?"
Although he didn't know who this person was, Naruto could sense no hostility from him.
"...Sasuke, this is my spirit-possessed form."
Sasuke answered.
"Another planetary guardian? Hmph, but this one looks pretty weak."
Golden Frieza sneered at Sasuke.
At present, Sasuke's strength was roughly equivalent to Naruto in his second-stage Super Saiyan mode.
"Who is he?"
Sasuke glanced at Frieza and asked. From what he remembered before leaving, Akshia had been the enemy.
The only reason Sasuke saved Akshia just now was because she had been revived using Sakura's body.
"I am the Great Dark Heaven, the Emperor of the Universe—Frieza!"
Frieza introduced himself proudly.
"A member of the Great Dark Heaven..."
No wonder Naruto and Akshia had joined forces.
"Sasuke, be careful. That guy's no pushover."
Naruto warned from the side.
"Yeah."
Sasuke nodded.
"Hmph."
Frieza scoffed at Sasuke's presence. Compared to Sasuke, Frieza was far more interested in Naruto.
"Thunder God Awakening!"
Sasuke leapt into the sky, his body surrounded by a glowing sphere of lightning. Bolts of electricity radiated from the orb, but under Sasuke's control, the lightning mainly targeted Frieza.
With a casual wave, Frieza batted away the incoming bolts, disdainfully looking at the thunder sphere overhead.
"Is that all?"
He extended a finger toward the sphere and fired a Death Beam.
"Frieza!"
Naruto charged at Frieza with a Rasengan in hand. He didn't know what Sasuke was planning, but he chose to trust him and buy as much time as possible.
"Hm?"
Frieza tilted slightly to dodge Naruto's attack, then spun around and landed a fierce kick.
"Ah!"
Naruto cried out in pain as Frieza instantly appeared behind his airborne body and followed up with another kick, sending him flying toward the thunder sphere.
"Both of you—just die already!"
Frieza opened his palm, gathering energy once more. "Hm?"
Frost began to accumulate on Frieza's body. He glanced over at Akshia and fired a blast from his left palm toward her.
Meanwhile, Naruto, having been kicked into the thunder sphere, began to merge with it. The orb slowly descended, narrowly avoiding Frieza's attack.
When the sphere touched the ground, it began to reshape into human form—revealing the completed Thunder God evolution: Sasuke holding Naruto in his arms.
Unlike the ordinary form of Ray, Thunder God Ray appeared leaner, and the wings on his back radiated intense lightning energy.
Sasuke gently placed Naruto on the ground.
"Didn't expect you to become this powerful, Sasuke..."
Naruto looked up at him and said.
"Leave the rest to me, Naruto," Sasuke replied, then turned to Akshia. "Stay here and look after Naruto. I can take care of that guy myself."
"Thunder God Ray..."
Frieza stared at Sasuke, his expression no longer bearing the slightest trace of amusement. Sasuke's Thunder God evolution had clearly surpassed the power of Ice Pact Akshia.
"Take me on alone? Aren't you being a bit too arrogant?"
"Lightning Aura!"
Lightning crackled around Sasuke's body.
Frieza's playful demeanor vanished, replaced by a solemn expression.
"Lightning Dash!"
Sasuke transformed into a bolt of lightning, appearing instantly behind Frieza and locking him in a hold from behind.
"Electric Surge!"
A dazzling explosion of light followed as a thunderous blast echoed through the air.
"Sasuke!"
Naruto called out in concern. Though Akshia said nothing, her eyes were locked on the blast's center.
As the explosion cleared, a battered and bruised Frieza was flung aside by Sasuke.
"You bastard!" Frieza snarled, infuriated, his body erupting with a surge of overwhelming power. "Die!"
He launched a barrage of energy blasts at Sasuke.
Sasuke's wings flared open, allowing him to swiftly dodge through the air.
"Energy Thunder Orbs!"
Sasuke curled his body midair, then spread out with force, launching four orbs crackling with thunderous energy from each limb.
Caught up in his frenzied attacks, Frieza didn't notice that the four lightning orbs were encircling him from all sides.
"Damn it..."
By the time he realized it, the orbs closed in and collided, triggering a massive explosion.
The scorched Frieza plummeted from the sky and crashed into the ground.
Struggling to his feet, he looked up at Sasuke floating high above.
Suddenly, Frieza extended his hand toward Naruto, who had nearly run out of strength.
Telekinesis—the innate ability of Frieza's race.
Naruto, too weak to resist, was quickly immobilized under Frieza's control.
"Don't come any closer!" Frieza shouted at Sasuke. "Or I'll detonate him with my energy!"
"..."
Sasuke hovered in silence.
"Sasuke! Forget about me! Just finish him!"
"Shut up! Are you really not afraid of death?!"
Frieza yelled at Naruto, tightening his grip. Naruto's face immediately twisted in pain.
"Wrath of the Thunder God!"
An explosion of wild lightning erupted from Sasuke's body.
