Daniel stood there transfixed. This was another problem he hated facing—telling the truth. One way or the other, another heat might occur, and if Xylander was anywhere close, he might pounce on him. Worse still, imagine the look on his face if he discovered Daniel was an Omega after all, especially after lying about his identity.
