Chapter 16 - Hey guy, Riki here

Hey guy, Riki here.

Rikisari if you're feeling formal, which I never am. First off, thanks for sticking around through fifteen chapters of Isaiah's supernatural identity crisis. Poor kid's gone from making out with the wrong girl at a nightclub to baseball-batting ghosts in an orphanage. Life comes at you fast when you're a newly awakened sex demon.

What you've just read is a little teaser I've been working on for "Demon Seer," dropping in 2026 for the WebNovel Spirity Awards. And yes, there will be no more chapters until then. Consider this fifteen-chapter sample a sort of literary appetizer. The main course is still cooking.

I know you've got questions. What happens at St. Ophelia's? Will Isaiah learn to control his incubus powers? Is Amelia manipulating him or genuinely interested?

All excellent questions that I have absolutely zero intention of answering for another few months.

Look, I could tell you I'm withholding chapters because I'm crafting a masterpiece that requires time and careful consideration. The truth? I'm probably procrastinating, drinking cheap coffee, and staring at my laptop until 3 AM when the words finally decide to show up. That's just how the magic happens.

But I do want your feedback. What worked? What didn't? Which characters grabbed you? Are you Team Amelia or Team Anyone-But-The-Pink-Haired-Goddess? Does Isaiah's journey from confused college student to demon-energy-sucking baseball bat wielder resonate with your own college experience? It probably shouldn't, but hey, I don't know your life.

So drop those comments, theories, and complaints below. Tell me what you think Isaiah's real origin story is. Guess which playing card Amelia might assign him. Debate whether Brittany's death metal playlist is actually appropriate monster-hunting music. I'll be reading everything while pretending to work on the next chapters.

Until 2026, when I'll emerge from my writer's cave, blinking in the sunlight, with a finished manuscript and probably an unhealthy caffeine dependency.

Thanks for reading. Now go touch some grass while you wait for the rest.
