Getting to know Elias's sister was... An experience to say the least. The Quinn siblings kept sharing looks anytime Cassian spoke, and the alpha relished the way Elias' cheeks and ears would blush pink as he rubbed his neck or look away. He felt a flicker of offense, in Ashley's defense, for accusing the sister of being his omega's paramour. Really, aside from the hair, the two looked alike and had the same facial expressions which varied between disbelief, amusement and disgust.
Cassian did not want to leave but he was beginning to feel awkward staying around, even though they were welcoming. There was also the need to let his pheromones run wild enough to lay claim on Elias but that would be disrespectful to the sister. And he wanted her approval.
Cassian fought a flinch at a abrupt glare she trained his way. Ashley seemed to run a tight ship. She almost reminded him of Sasha. He let himself get a sniff of her as she drew close to give him a plate of sliced apples.
