Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 11:EYES ON ME, BUT WHY

Why is this alarm disturbing me ahhhhh! Can't I sleep small? Huh, I just closed my eyes and the alarm is already making me sick. It's just 5 a.m.—and I'm not the one going to teach! Hmmm.

Wait… what? 6:30 a.m.?! Gosssssh! My second day and I'm already getting late haha. Well, who shall I blame? Of course—the clock.

Since I was late, I tried to rush, but things got worse. Entering the washroom—my water wasn't coming! Huh, what a day.

Thank God my roommate's water was running, so I quickly used hers. She wasn't around, and honestly, we don't even talk. She only nods when I greet her, so I don't even know her name yet. I just hope she doesn't find out I used her water. But well… I don't really care.

After bathing, I got ready and hurried out. No bus today—I had to take a taxi, or else I'd waste more time.

When I reached the school entrance, I exhaled three times before stepping down. I walked majestically; today I didn't want to collide with anyone.

At my locker, I picked my book and spotted Margaret coming toward me. This girl and gossip—it's like episode one and two of a drama, haha.

"Hi Rachy," she said.

"Yes," I replied.

"What kept you long? I've been waiting for you for eternity."

"Ohhh don't add to my frustration," I sighed.

"Why? What happened?"

"Hmmm, my water wasn't coming. You know how that feels."

"Wow really? Just your water—or something else?" she teased.

"Just water. What were you thinking?" I asked and playfully tapped her.

"Well, you didn't come early, so you missed what happened minutes ago."

"Why? What really happened?" I asked, curious.

"There was epic drama—and you missed it," she said.

This girl can talk, so I just let her continue until we separated for our classes.

Inside my class, I sat quietly for a few minutes, then decided to change seats. That's when I realized all eyes were on me. Wait oo… did I do something wrong?

If it happens again, I'll warn them.

So I turned to Mr. Unknown and asked, "Did I do something wrong?"

And can you believe it—this guy just called me a silly girl! He said, "Who won't eye you since you stood there like you were coming to teach? Haha."

"Wait… did you just call me silly?" I asked.

"As if I care," he shrugged.

We started bickering until the class suddenly went silent.

"Miss Racheal, is there any problem?" the lecturer asked.

I froze—realizing he was already inside.

"No, sir," I answered quickly.

"Good," he said.

"Okay class, today we're going to discuss the importance of correlation in relation to our studies."

"Yes sir," the class responded.

He explained and asked questions. Students responded nicely.

Then he called me. "Miss Racheal, give us one importance of correlation."

"In education, correlation helps us know the relationship between study time and exam scores," I replied.

"Good," he said with a nod.
