🌌 Character Profiles – Chronicles of the Watchers

1. The Protagonist (Half-Blood Chosen)

Name: Kairo (means victorious one)

Age: 17–18

Appearance: Dark skin with glowing silver eyes when emotional, lean but strong build. A faint rune-shaped scar burns on his forearm.

Abilities:

Can breathe underwater during floods.

Manipulates runes that bend time (slows or speeds up events briefly).

Visions of the past and future in his dreams.

Personality: Brave but doubtful, feels like an outsider, often questions destiny.

Backstory: Orphaned at birth, raised in a ruined city. Hunted by both angels and secret societies. Later learns his father was a Watcher, and his mother was human.

2. The Mentor (Keeper of Secrets)

Name: Seraphiel

Appearance: Old scholar with glowing tattoos across his arms. Wears robes stitched with runes.

Abilities: Guardian of forbidden texts. Knows the truth about the Watchers and the Time God.

Personality: Wise, mysterious, often hides the full truth.

Backstory: Once served the Time God but betrayed him to help humans.

3. The Watcher (Fallen Angel Father)

Name: Azariel

Appearance: Towering, with wings blackened by ash. His eyes shift between fire and shadow.

Abilities: Control over storms and floods. His voice shakes the earth.

Personality: Charismatic but dangerous; believes freedom is worth any cost.

Backstory: Imprisoned in the Abyss after giving humans forbidden knowledge. Secretly proud of his half-human son.

4. The Nephilim (Giant Ally)

Name: Liora

Appearance: A towering giantess with bronze skin, long silver hair, and ocean-like eyes.

Abilities: Strength to shatter mountains, can communicate with water creatures (like mermaids).

Personality: Fierce protector, but mournful—knows her kind are nearly extinct.

Backstory: The last daughter of a Nephilim king. Seeks to stop both angels and Watchers from destroying the world again.

5. The Rival (Illuminati Assassin)

Name: Dorian

Appearance: Human with sharp features, always cloaked. Carries daggers engraved with glowing runes.

Abilities: Assassin trained in ancient rituals, uses sigils to mask himself in shadows.

Personality: Ambitious, cunning, and cold.

Backstory: Orphan raised by the Illuminati-like order. Jealous of Kairo's destiny and determined to claim it for himself.

6. The Time God (Eternal Judge)

Name: Kronas (from Chronos, time itself)

Appearance: A shifting figure made of water, stars, and endless clocks. Face never fully visible.

Abilities: Controls the flow of time, creates and destroys worlds with floods.

Personality: Detached, emotionless—sees mortals as dust in the cycle.

Backstory: Responsible for the First Flood. Plans to cleanse the world once more, but hides a deeper secret about why cycles must repeat.

7. The Betrayer (Trusted but False Friend)

Name: Selene

Appearance: Young woman with flowing dark hair, violet eyes.

Abilities: Illusions, whispers of prophecy.

Personality: Warm, caring… but hides her ambition.

Backstory: Befriends Kairo early in the story, but later betrays him to the Watchers, believing the world must burn to be reborn.
