Chapter 19: Summoning~~
Back in the temple, for certain reasons—namely, the fear that her property might be stolen by a certain shameless woman—Ereshkigal decided to indulge Li Lin's... strange preferences a little.
However, even though she had agreed, when the time came, she hesitated.
"Gulp~, I really don't get what's so great about feet. I thought boys would be more into chests," Ereshkigal muttered, sitting on the edge of her bed. She pressed her hands against her mochi-like chest, her expression conflicted. "But to show the magnanimity of a superior, I guess I can humor you a little."
Finally, as if having made up her mind, she blushed and spoke to herself.
And so, when Li Lin walked into the temple, he was greeted by the sight of Ereshkigal half-lying on the bed, her hands wrapped around her thighs, presenting her pristine jade feet and bottom directly to the "enemy."

He could feel his heart pounding. He had originally thought that just getting a lap pillow from Eresh would be the peak of happiness. He never expected this innocent young lady to interpret his words like this!

Ereshkigal felt her shame meter about to explode. Her knuckles were turning white from gripping her thighs, her strength slowly draining. Just as she was about to give up, she felt a warm touch between her legs.
"Wh-what?!"
She strained to look up and saw that Li Lin had embraced her thighs and was now crazily rubbing his face and mouth against her skin.
"Ngh, don't move... S-stop it!"
Ereshkigal couldn't take it anymore. She quickly sat up and grabbed his head, trying to stop the insolent man. But whether it was because her allure was just too powerful, Li Lin seemed to have lost all reason, becoming completely unrestrained.
In the end, it was a bolt of crimson lightning from the heavens that stopped everything at a critical moment.

"Ereshkigal, what were you thinking?!"

After kicking Li Lin out, Ereshkigal lay alone on her bed, rolling around and hugging the sheets. She couldn't believe that in a moment of impulse, she had done something so outrageous. Where was her dignity as a goddess? Her composure? She had thrown it all away.
"No! Ereshkigal!" She sat up, her expression serious, and repeatedly pounded her little fist against her chest to show her resolve. "From this day forward, you must establish your authority as a superior!"
And so, the first post-confession "special service" play came to an end.
Having resolved to reclaim her dignity, Ereshkigal maintained a haughty demeanor for the next period of time. She declared: "I am the great mistress of the Underworld. How can I be so close to a subordinate? As a goddess, one must maintain composure and elegance! No lewdness!"
Li Lin: No, you're already very lewd.(chuckles)
After giving Eresh some time to cool down, Li Lin went to the surface to carry out a plan he had been thinking about for a long time: to bring Eresh to the surface for real, just once.
"By my calculations, this method has about a ninety percent success rate."
On a leyline, Li Lin drew a summoning circle and placed a spear cage on it. Getting Eresh to the surface wasn't actually that difficult. He just needed to summon her from the Underworld like a Servant. However, since this was the Age of Gods, doing so was equivalent to summoning a copy of her right in front of her. The vessel for her descent was a major issue.
As for whether a Holy Grail was needed, Li Lin thought that a mere cup was nothing. Its ability was just to take a known method and use a massive amount of magical energy to accelerate its completion. How could he, a god, not be able to do the same?
Using his own bond as a catalyst, the spear cage as a relic, and the Authority he received from Tiamat, Li Lin began to chant the summoning incantation, intending to pull Eresh from the Underworld.
"Hmm, I remember the chant was something like..." He raised his hand, thought for a moment, and began.
"Thy body is under me, for my fate is thy sword."
"I am your husband, and you are my wife."
"Heed my call, and if thou wouldst obey this will and this reason, then answer!"
"I may do good, I may do evil, but I shall be wreathed in the three great words of power, for an unlimited time."
"Come forth from the ring of restraint, protector of the balance!"
BOOM—
The moment he finished, the summoning circle before him erupted in a dazzling light. A violent surge of magical energy flashed, and a goddess with golden twintails and a completely flushed face appeared.
POW—!
But before Li Lin could say anything, the newly appeared Ereshkigal clenched her little fist and punched him right on the forehead.
"Ow, what was that for~ haha~." Li Lin clutched his head, looking completely baffled.
"You still dare to ask!" Ereshkigal yelled, her fist raised, her face a mask of shame and anger. "What the hell was that chant?! What do you mean 'my body is under you,' you pervert!"
Li Lin: "Ehe~" [sticks out tongue, acts cute~]
P.S. Fun fact, you can actually summon Servants without a Holy Grail. The Grail's function is just to infinitely accelerate known methods. So theoretically, if you have the necessary conditions, you can summon a Servant without one.
