Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Venomous Spider

Chapter 32: Venomous Spider, Rampage

"Ahhhh!!!"

A young, agonized scream tore through the night sky of New York, echoing far and wide.

The very next second after being parasitized by the symbiote, the boy clutched his head in pain, his eyes clouded with a sickly gray-green haze. He collapsed to the ground, writhing in torment.

"Get away from him!"

Someone shouted in fear. The crowd panicked and scrambled back. Aside from Aunt May, everyone retreated more than ten meters, leaving the boy at the center alone.

"Peter, are you alright? Don't scare Aunt May like this…"

In the suddenly empty street, Aunt May, trembling but concerned, reached out to help the kneeling boy. But to her shock, she couldn't even budge his small body.

The boy remained hunched, head down, face obscured, hands braced against the ground. His cries and trembling weakened until his body grew strangely still.

That eerie calm only made the bystanders shudder with dread.

Twenty meters away.

"It chose a boy as its new host?"

Xi Nian, in his threefold merged state, felt a flicker of surprise at the desperate choice of the second symbiote. But it didn't slow his cold and ruthless assault.

Crack!

A hardened dark tendril shot forward, slicing through the air straight at Peter, the boy who had become the new host.

Just then, Venom's voice echoed in his mind: "Something's wrong. I can faintly sense it—this human child's physique isn't normal!"

As if to prove Venom's words, right before the tendril could strike, the boy's small hand flashed up like lightning and grabbed it firmly!

The hardened spear tip froze an inch from Peter's chest.

"Heheheh!!"

A rasping, inhuman laugh escaped him. Green-gray sludge oozed from his skin, twisting and hardening until it formed a full symbiote armor.

Peter's body grew and warped, becoming a nearly two-meter-tall monster with powerful gray-green muscles.

Its tall frame, lean yet strong limbs, and a white spider emblem stretched across its chest and back.

Xi Nian was reminded for a moment of Abomination, but this was different—sleeker, more agile, more spider-like.

"Didn't expect a human to have such a powerful body!" the monster rasped, flexing its gray-green hand, mouth splitting in a grin as a long scarlet tongue flicked out.

With Peter as host, the symbiote's abilities were finally unleashed to their fullest.

It felt invincible.

And it had proof—just moments ago, it had caught an attack from Venom's host. An attack it should never have been able to withstand.

Now it was certain: it was the strongest!

"With this body, I am the true king of the symbiotes!" the monster—Venomous Spider—roared in delight, licking its jagged fangs.

"Peter, Peter…"

A woman's broken, trembling voice came from the side.

"You're not Peter," Aunt May whispered, tears streaming as she faced the monster. "You're a monster. Give Peter back to me."

"Heheheh! I'll kill you first, then finish Venom and his host!" Venomous Spider snarled, lifting its massive clawed hand toward her face.

That was when a cold, rasping voice cut through the air: "Had enough fun?"

"What?!"

The tendril Venomous Spider still gripped suddenly wrapped tighter, locking its hand.

Hand in hand—but with no kindness.

An indescribable force surged from the tendril, dragging the monster's massive body off balance.

Xi Nian yanked it into the air, flinging it nearly thirty meters up before slamming it down into the street below.

Boom!

The ground shook violently, a crater bursting open with flying debris.

"Damn it!!"

Covered in dirt and rubble, Venomous Spider roared, firing two gray-green webs at the tendril cage behind Xi Nian. Using them to pull itself forward, it slid low across the ground and kicked hard at Xi Nian.

But the small black kitten didn't move. With one hand still buried in the ground maintaining the tendril cage, its tail whipped forward with explosive force.

Crack!

With a single whip, Venomous Spider was swatted away like a fly.

"This… this isn't possible!" it gasped, smashed into the ground again, utterly dazed.

Why?

Even after multiplying its strength, speed, and shapeshifting abilities countless times, it was still weaker than Venom's host.

In truth, only now, with Peter's enhanced spider-physique, did the second symbiote fully understand just how terrifying Xi Nian's threefold fusion really was.

Who was the real monster here?

Venomous Spider fired webs toward a distant skyscraper, leaping to flee. If it couldn't win, it would run.

But Xi Nian's tendrils were faster.

They coiled around its leg, and with rising fury, Xi Nian swung it again and again, smashing it through the air and into the ground.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Over and over until the street was filled with craters.

Finally, Xi Nian released it. The broken monster lay sprawled in one of the pits, its symbiote armor melting away like spilled oil, body unable to sustain its form.

The scene could only be described in one word—brutal.

"Is the host still saveable?" Xi Nian growled, struggling to keep some shred of reason.

Venom's devilish whisper replied: "Hard to say. The boy's physique is special, but he's too young. It depends if he can take back control. My advice? Don't risk it—kill them both now."

Xi Nian didn't answer. His tendril morphed into a massive scythe, hovering above Venomous Spider's head.

What little of his humanity remained was slipping. The threefold fusion was pushing him deeper into bloodlust and cold detachment.
