Chapter 44 - Blood and Rain

Abandoned Warehouse — Night

Rain beat down on the cracked roof as thunder rolled through the dark. The lights flickered from the half-dead bulbs above, casting ghostly shadows across the concrete. Andrea and Tory stood opposite each other — years of friendship, pain, and betrayal sitting heavy between them.

Andrea's breathing was calm but heavy, her weapon still in hand. Tory's eyes locked on her, filled with tears that refused to fall.

"You don't have to do this," Tory said softly, stepping closer. "You think Hawk, Robby, Miguel… they'd want this?"

Andrea smirked — but it wasn't amusement. It was pain hiding under teeth. "They're gone because no one listened. Because everyone kept pretending that there was still good left."

"There is," Tory said. "You just don't want to see it anymore."

Andrea's eyes burned. "I saw Hawk die in front of me, Tory! I saw Robby bleed out in my arms! Don't you dare tell me there's good left in this world!"

Tory's hands curled into fists. "And burning it down won't bring them back."

Andrea's breath hitched, her grip tightening on the weapon. "Maybe not. But it'll make it fair."

Tory shook her head. "No. It'll make you the thing we fought against."

Andrea snapped — charging at Tory. The weapon swung down, but Tory sidestepped, blocking with her forearm. Metal scraped against skin. Tory winced, grabbed Andrea's arm, and flipped her over onto the concrete.

Andrea rolled, kicking upward — striking Tory in the ribs.

They both stumbled back, panting. Rain leaked through the holes in the roof, soaking them both as they circled each other.

Tory shouted, "You think I wanted to leave? I was scared! Kreese was pushing us too far, and Johnny—"

"Johnny created this!" Andrea interrupted, slashing forward. The blade missed by inches, slicing Tory's jacket. "He made me, Tory. He made all of us!"

Tory's voice cracked. "No, Andrea. He saved us. We just forgot who we were supposed to be."

Andrea lunged again. Tory caught her arm, the blade falling to the floor with a metallic clang. They grappled, slipping on wet concrete until Tory managed to pin Andrea down.

Tory's voice trembled. "Stop. Please. Look at me."

Andrea's breathing was ragged, her hair plastered to her face. She stared up at Tory — at the one person who still looked at her like she was worth saving.

Tory's tears finally fell. "You were my sister. You think I don't miss them too? But this isn't you. Cobra Kai didn't make you a monster — it made you strong. You just forgot the difference."

Andrea's body tensed under her, shaking. Her eyes glistened — tears finally breaking free.

"I have nothing left," Andrea whispered.

"Yes, you do," Tory said firmly. "You still have a choice."

Andrea closed her eyes, the rain drowning out her sob. "You don't get it. I already made mine."

In a sudden burst of movement, Andrea twisted free, pushing Tory off her and scrambling to her feet.

Tory reached for her. "Andrea—"

Andrea turned, eyes empty but voice shaking. "Once I'm done here, I'm leaving Atlanta. I'll finish what I have to do… and then I'm gone. For good."

Tory's heart dropped. "You don't have to run."

Andrea gave a faint, broken smile. "That's all I've ever done."

She stepped backward toward the shadows, rain pouring over her shoulders.

"Tell Johnny and Daniel to stop chasing me," she said. "If they find me again… I won't stop next time."

And then she was gone — disappearing into the storm, swallowed by the sound of thunder and rain.

Cut to: Johnny and Daniel — Driving Through the Valley

Johnny gripped the steering wheel, eyes scanning the streets. "She's out there, LaRusso. I can feel it."

Daniel sat beside him, soaked from the rain, voice quiet but firm. "We'll find her. Before it's too late."

Johnny's knuckles were white. "It already is."

They passed the warehouse just as Tory stumbled outside, drenched and trembling. Daniel pulled the car over immediately.

"Tory!" Daniel called, running to her.

She looked up, eyes wild. "She's gone."

Johnny stepped closer. "Did she hurt you?"

Tory shook her head. "No. She's hurt enough herself."

Daniel's voice was grim. "Where's she going?"

Tory looked toward the mountains, her tone hollow. "Somewhere she can't be found."

Johnny cursed under his breath. "She's planning something."

Tory turned to him, desperate. "If you find her, don't fight her. Just… talk to her. She's not completely gone."

Johnny looked away, eyes heavy. "You don't know what she's capable of now."

Tory whispered, "I do."

Rain poured harder. Thunder echoed through the valley.

Final Scene — Road Outside Atlanta

Andrea rode Hawk's motorcycle through the empty highway, the city lights fading behind her. Her reflection flickered in the rearview mirror — eyes hollow, lips trembling.

She whispered into the night, "One more thing left to do."

The storm raged around her, but she didn't slow down.

Because Andrea Johnson was no longer just Cobra Kai.She was its ghost.
