Chapter 16 - First Blood

The Cobra Kai pack gathered at the edge of the alleyway, hoods pulled tight, fists clenched, eyes sharp. Johnny stood a step ahead, pacing like a predator.

"Tonight," Johnny barked, "we show them what happens when you cross Cobra Kai. No mercy. No hesitation. You're not kids anymore — you're a pack!"

Andrea's hands flexed, knuckles white around her gloves. Hawk stood beside her, jaw tight, a storm simmering behind his eyes. Tory smirked, tapping her foot impatiently. Robby lingered back, watching each of them carefully. Kenny, Kyler, Bert, and Mitch huddled together, whispering quick jokes that made the others snort despite the tension.

"You sure you guys are ready for this?" Andrea asked, her voice cold.

"Born ready," Hawk said, eyes narrowing. "Let's go."

Johnny clapped once. "Move out!"

The rival gang was already milling near the corner, unaware of the shadowed figures approaching. Andrea's heart pounded in her chest. This was no drill. No dojo. This was the streets — and tonight, Cobra Kai would take control.

The fight erupted instantly.

Andrea lunged first, kicking one thug square in the stomach, sending him sprawling into a puddle. Hawk moved like a storm, fists and elbows striking with terrifying precision, each move calculated, brutal. Tory ducked under a swing and delivered a crushing kick that made her opponent scream.

Robby jumped in, blocking a knife swing, flipping the attacker over, and landing silently on his feet. He caught Andrea's eye for a brief second — no words, just understanding.

Kenny, Kyler, Bert, and Mitch acted like a single unit, moving fluidly, surrounding the remaining gang members. Bert grabbed a thug by the collar and slammed him into the brick wall. Mitch executed a spinning kick that knocked another out cold. Kyler snickered, taunting their opponents as he landed precise punches. Kenny's grin was wicked; he thrived in the chaos, slamming fists into ribs without hesitation.

Blood mixed with rain as the fight intensified. Andrea felt the rush — the thrill, the fear, the raw power surging through her veins. Each strike, each takedown, pushed her closer to a darkness she hadn't fully realized she possessed.

Then it happened.

One gang member, bigger than the rest, shoved Andrea hard, sending her sliding across the wet pavement. Hawk screamed, barreling toward him. The thug swung, aiming for Hawk's head. Time slowed.

Andrea's instincts took over. She swept the thug's legs, sending him crashing to the ground. Hawk followed immediately, a kick to the chest sending him tumbling back. Andrea felt the world tilt. She grabbed a metal pipe lying nearby, and in a single, fluid motion, drove it down — piercing, fatal.

The thug didn't scream. He didn't fight back. The world went silent for a heartbeat. Then the pack realized what had happened.

Robby's eyes widened. His stomach churned. Andrea stood over the body, chest heaving, rain running over her hair, eyes wide but focused. She hadn't planned to feel anything — and yet, there it was: a cold satisfaction, a chilling thrill that made her shiver.

Hawk knelt beside her, pale but steady. "We… we did it," he said quietly. His voice was more observation than fear.

Tory laughed darkly. "Looks like Cobra Kai's official now."

Kenny clapped Bert on the shoulder. "That was beautiful. Absolute precision."

Kyler nodded, eyes gleaming. "No mercy. Just how it should be."

Mitch smirked. "Feels… good."

Robby stepped back, his chest tight. "We… killed him." His voice was a whisper. Shock, fear, disbelief.

Andrea's gaze swept over the pack. "We're a pack," she said softly. "And packs survive."

Hawk's jaw tightened. "Yeah. Packs protect each other. Always."

Robby shook his head slightly, trying to ground himself. "I… I don't know if I can feel like this."

Andrea reached for his arm. "You don't have to understand yet. Just… follow."

By the time they retreated to the shadows, sirens wailed faintly in the distance. Rain washed over them, but it couldn't cleanse what they'd done.

The next morning, news flashed across Atlanta:

"Teen Killed in Mysterious Street Attack — Police Investigating Violent Brawl"

Daniel LaRusso's face went pale as he read the headline. "Andrea…" he whispered. Chozen stood beside him, silent but alert.

"She's slipping," Chozen said calmly. "And Cobra Kai is growing stronger."

Daniel slammed his fists against the table. "I can't let this happen. Not her, not Miguel, not Sam. Johnny… I've failed them all."

Meanwhile, back at Cobra Kai, the pack gathered in the dojo, dripping wet but alive.

Andrea sank onto a bench, breathing hard. Hawk handed her a towel, his usual stoicism cracked by faint worry. "You okay?" he asked.

Andrea wiped the rain and blood from her face. "I feel… different," she admitted. Her lips curved slightly. "Stronger. Darker. Ready for anything."

Tory leaned against the wall, arms crossed, a faint smile on her face. "You did good, Andrea. First kill… not many can say that."

Kenny nudged Kyler. "She's practically Cobra Kai royalty now."

Kyler chuckled. "I'd follow her anywhere."

Bert smirked at Mitch. "Pack's tighter than ever. No one's touching us."

Robby remained in the corner, silent, conflicted. He watched Andrea — the fire in her eyes, the satisfaction she hid behind her calm exterior. He wanted to say something, anything, but the words wouldn't come. Instead, he nodded slightly, a small acknowledgment of the bond forming.

Hawk watched them all, the darkness creeping in around their edges. He felt it in himself, in Andrea, in the pack. They were no longer the kids they were six months ago. They were predators now, bound together by blood and fire.

Johnny watched from the doorway, pride and worry mixing in his chest. "That's my pack," he said quietly. "My family."

Andrea caught his gaze. She didn't smile, but she didn't flinch either. She had no illusions anymore. Cobra Kai was more than a dojo. It was survival. It was power. It was blood.

And somewhere, in the shadows of the city, Daniel LaRusso and Chozen plotted their next move, knowing that this was only the beginning — that Cobra Kai's first kill had changed everything, and that Atlanta would never be the same.

The pack stood together in the dojo, rain dripping from their clothes, hearts pounding, adrenaline still raw. They had crossed a line. And there was no turning back.

Robby glanced at Andrea. A silent promise passed between them — whatever came next, they'd face it together.

But for now, they basked in the darkness they had created. Cobra Kai had taken its first true step into power… and into infamy.
