Chapter 19 - A New Perspective #R18

As I settled between Alicia's legs. she looked up at me with nervous eyes, her chest heaving with anticipation.

"Are you ready?" I murmured, my voice husky with desire.

Alicia nodded, biting her lip nervously.

"Yes," she breathed. "I am ready"

With a gentle push, I entered her slowly, allowing her time to adjust to the unfamiliar sensation.

She was tight and wet, her inner walls gripping me like a velvet vise.

Alicia gasped as I broke through the barrier of her innocence, a brief flash of pain crossing her face.

But as I began to move within her, the discomfort faded away, replaced by a building pleasure that threatened to consume us both.

I set a slow, steady pace, determined to bring Alicia to the heights of ecstasy before seeking my own release.

The vines around us pulsed in time with my thrusts.

"Ahh~, Valerian!" Alicia cried out, her back arching as I filled her completely.

"You're so... so big Ahn~."

I groaned at her words, my hips snapping forward as I drove myself deeper.

"And you're so tight," I panted.

"Like a glove wrapped around me."

Alicia's legs wrapped around my waist, urging me on.

"Ahmn~ Mo–More," she begged, her nails raking down my back.

"I need more."

I obliged eagerly, picking up the pace of my thrusts.

The sound of our bodies slapping together filled the room, punctuated by our ragged breaths and moans of pleasure.

"Yes,"

As I thrust into Alicia, I leaned down to capture her lips in a searing kiss.

Our tongues tangled and danced, exploring each other's mouths with a hunger that matched the passion of our lovemaking.

Looking at her sweaty face and weak moans I felt the urge to taste her blood again.

Breaking the kiss, I trailed my lips down her neck, nipping and sucking at the tender skin.

Alicia gasped and tilted her head back, giving me better access.

With a low growl, I sank my fangs into the pulsing vein beneath her jaw.

Alicia cried out, her inner walls clamping down around me as a powerful orgasm ripped through her.

"Yes," she screamed, her body convulsing beneath mine.

"Drink from me!"

I sucked greedily at the wound, drawing forth a rich, coppery liquid that filled my mouth and slid down my throat.

The taste of Alicia's blood was intoxicating, fueling the fire that raged within me.

As I drank, I continued to thrust into her, my hips moving with a rhythm that seemed to resonate with the very core of my being.

Alicia's cries of pleasure grew louder, more desperate, as she was consumed by wave after wave of ecstasy.

I could feel my own release building, the pressure coiling in my lower abdomen like a spring ready to snap.

With a final, brutal thrust, I buried myself deep inside Alicia and let go.

"Yes," I roared, my body shuddering as I filled myself into her welcoming cave of life.

"Alicia!"

We collapsed together in a tangle of limbs and sweatsoaked skin

our hearts pounding in unison as we rode out the aftermath of our shared passion.

She warned I'd die and yet I am still alive

Yes that curse seems preety mana hungry that it nearly wrung me dry

But I managed to survive

"Heh, it wasn't so dangerous af—Arghhhhh!!!!"

Just as I was about to say it wasn't dangerous at all, an intense, searing pain ripped through my back.

It felt as if my spine was on fire, a thousand burning needles pricking my skin all at once.

My body arched, a scream tearing from my throat as I writhed on the bed.

"Valerian! What's happening? Goddamnit, that's why I warned you!"

Alicia asked frantically, her voice filled with a panicked worry I had never heard before.

She looked at my back, her eyes wide with terror and disbelief at what she saw.

In her eyes, a circular symbol with a cross in the middle was getting burned onto my back.

It was a familiar type of mark to her, and she stared at it in shock, her face pale.

"NO WAY! How are you getting branded by the mark of a witch?" she exclaimed.

It was unbelievable for her to witness a mark of a witch being drawn on a man.

As it was proof that person was a witch, and men can't become witches. Or so she thought.

"Damn this fucking pain! It's like when that crow bastard's light burned my hand, but a hundred times more painful!"

The pain wasn't just physical.

The mark was absorbing my energy faster than anything I'd ever felt.

My life force, my mana, my everything was being sucked out of me like a hungry leech.

No, at this rate, I would really die.

I thought of a last resort, remembering I had someone close I could get some help from.

"Alicia, forgive me if it hurts too much," I apologized beforehand, and wrapped my thorny vines around her.

"Wh—Mhmmm!" she yelped in surprise, but my lips sealed hers as my vines started absorbing her blood rapidly.

It wasn't painful, but it was certainly dangerous, as she was still poisoned, and only her newly regained mana from me was healing her.

But by absorbing her blood and energy, I was playing with fire.

This was a desperate gamble, but it was the only method I had left.

No wonder she warned I'd die from mana drain as this brand is sucking it out like a hungry leech.

The curse was a slow poison, but this mark is a sudden death.

.....

After an entire half an hour, I was still inside Alicia's coven, breathing hard, my lips bloody, and my body drenched in sweat.

Beside me, Alicia was a still, unconscious form, having lost consciousness during my desperate and brutal attempt at survival.

I felt like a scumbag.

A deep sense of guilt settled in my gut as I looked at her, so pale and still.

I had used her, taken what I needed to save myself, with little regard for the cost to her.

I blamed myself for this.

Thankfully, she was still alive, and her breathing seemed to have steadied.

She looked better than she had before, the gray pallor of the poison gone from her skin.

Perhaps during my blood-sucking, I had taken out the poison from her body as well.

But still, it was a scumbag move, to use a woman for my survival.

But hey, it wasn't entirely my fault.

I admitted my guilt, but it all started because of their ridiculous game of marriage.

I sighed for the nth time that night and finally decided to look at my back.

I couldn't see it properly, but I could feel it, a subtle heat where the mark had been branded.

And after getting it, I felt a new level of sensitivity to the world, I could literally see different forms of energy in the surrounding air.

They were all around me, flowing like colored streams.

I lay there for what felt like an eternity, my mind racing as it processed the streams of energy I could now perceive.

Ki: Vital energy, the life force of all living things.

Mana: Magical energy, a radiant flow of arcane power.

Demonic Energy: A energy, dark and chaotic, familiar to what resonated with my incubus blood.

Aether: Spiritual energy, faint and translucent, flowing from the spirits of the dead.

I instinctively knew them, a part of my mind now able to read these currents.

Before, I had mistaken my demonic energy for mana, but it turns out they are completely different.

Demonic energy is a negative force, born from desires and negative feelings.

It feels chaotic and dark, a power I had grown accustomed to as an incubus.

Mana, however, seems to be a universally present energy, a pure, magical force that flows through everything.

As I began to experiment with my own energies, I made another intriguing discovery.

What my vampire side required was not mana or demonic energy.

It was Ki, also known as vital energy.

That's why I felt so sated after feeding on blood it was the life force—it was the vital energy, the very essence of life, that sustained my vampire half.

And my vines... they were truly useful.

I could feel them, a part of my new body, acting as a kind of converter.

They could take blood and turn it into mana, or take mana and turn it into vital energy.

They were a bridge between all these different forces.

A terrifying, beautiful ability that made me feel more powerful than ever before.

'I am sorry for cursing you before, dear Vine-chan.' I mentally consoled the thick, thorny vines that were still wrapped around me.

Now that I could feel their Vital energy, their connection to me, they no longer felt like a mere tool but a part of me, a companion.

They hummed in response, a soothing reassurance that they had forgiven me.

'Now then.' I turned my gaze towards the shelves.

This was a place of immeasurable knowledge, a witch's coven filled with Grimoires and research papers.

In the past, I would have avoided it at the first chance, but now a new curiosity gnawed at me.

I needed to understand my powers, to master this new existence as a vampire and incubus hybrid.

Of course, I couldn't miss this opportunity.

To leave without gaining this knowledge, to remain ignorant and at the mercy of my new abilities and the women I was bound to, would be a shame.

I would become a laughingstock of a protagonist then, wouldn't I?
