Azerin had just stepped out of the washroom, still draped in his robe, diamond-like droplets clinging to his hair. Even the water tracing down his jade-toned skin made him gleam like an ethereal entity.
However, people who knew him would beg to differ.
He moved to the bar in his bedroom and poured himself a glass of wine when a knock echoed from the door.
"Come in," Azerin said, unbothered.
"Good morning, Alpha," Soren greeted, bowing slightly as he entered.
Azerin looked up at him with a flat gaze, then returned to what he was doing, somewhat disappointed, perhaps, that Soren was not the person he had expected.
"Sorry to disturb you so early," Soren continued, voice clipped and serious, "but the alphas from the club last night have been taken care of."
"Hm." Azerin gave a small hum as he sipped his wine.
