Chapter 1 - what a bad way to die??

Lucius sprinted down the desolate street, his feet pounding the cracked asphalt as he desperately tried to escape the relentless zombie behind him. The creature was a grotesque aberration, its 1-meter-tall frame twisted and deformed, with dark veins visible beneath its decaying skin. Its eyes glowed with an eerie green radiance, a sickening contrast to the dull, lifeless complexion of its face.

"Well, this was a good run me ,I guess this is the end,I never thought that I would die while running from a zombie who will probably eat my ass, come in Lucius run like you mean it ,I will not be touched by a zombie"Lucius thought as he gathered motivational thoughts into his head as he ran for his life.

As Lucius ran, he cursed the world and its cruel fate. Why had he not awakened in a world filled with monsters and zombies? Why did he have to stumble into this nightmare unprepared? His anger and frustration fueled his legs, propelling him forward as he dodged debris and leapt over obstacles.

But the zombie was persistent, its cold, dead eyes fixed on Lucius with an unblinking gaze. It moved with an unnatural speed, its arms outstretched as it gained on its prey. Lucius could feel its hot, rank breath on the back of his neck, and he knew he couldn't outrun it forever.

In a desperate bid to shake the creature, Lucius veered sharply to the left, but the zombie was too close. It tackled him with a bone-jarring impact, sending Lucius crashing to the ground. The world spun around him as he was thrown away like a rag doll, his body crashing into a pile of broken glass and rubble.

" Well at least i tried to do something better than other who just wait to be killed, thumbs up"

Pain exploded through Lucius's body as his bones cracked and splintered beneath the impact. He lay there, helpless and broken, as the zombie loomed over him, its green eyes gleaming with an unholy hunger. Lucius's vision began to blur, but his gaze fell upon a strange, old-fashioned watch lying on the ground in front of him.

The watch seemed to be calling to him, its intricate mechanisms and strange symbols etched into its face drawing Lucius in with an otherworldly allure. In a trance-like state, Lucius reached out and grabbed the watch, his fingers closing around its cool metal band.

As he did, the zombie lunged forward, its jaws wide open in a snarling snout. Lucius cursed his bad luck, realizing too late that the creature was already upon him. But as the zombie's teeth snapped shut mere inches from his face, Lucius felt the watch glow with an intense, pulsating energy.

The world around him began to distort and blur, and Lucius's body moved of its own accord. He felt himself being pulled through time and space, the zombie's snarls and the pain of his broken bones fading into the distance.

When Lucius opened his eyes, he found himself back in his room. The strange watch was gone, and he was left staring at his bare wrist in confusion. The room was exactly as he had left it, the familiar surroundings a jarring contrast to the chaos and destruction he had just endured.

Lucius's mind reeled as he struggled to comprehend what had happened. Had it all been a dream? But the memories felt so real – the pain, the fear, the desperation. As he sat there, trying to make sense of it all, a cold, robotic voice spoke directly into his mind.
