Elias was done with his school project for today. He pushed the last page of notes aside and leaned back in his chair, rubbing his eyes. The desk was covered in medical textbooks, handwritten diagrams of the human circulatory system, printed articles on cardiovascular diseases, and a half-finished presentation slide deck open on his laptop.
The holiday assignment that was due after the break was a detailed case study on hypertension management in young adults. He'd been at it since early morning, cross-referencing sources, drawing flowcharts, and typing up treatment protocols. It wasn't exciting, but he wanted it done right. He'd finish the final references and conclusion tomorrow.
