Numerous sheep ran through the green fields that seemed to stretch on forever. Surprisingly, they seemed to be running in a tight position as not once did any sheep break out of the formation.
Three figures were seen running alongside the flock.
One was a wolf, almost two metres tall and with black fur like a panther's. Its amber gleamed in the sun as it occasionally barked in an effort to lead the sheep.
The other two were boys and although the sheep ran at the speed of a van, the pair had no trouble keeping up with them.
"I still don't understand why the chief's kids have to partake in taking care of the herd" One of the boys said and although he spoke in a complaining manner, he had a big smile in his face as his dark green hair flew in the wind.
The other boy who looked identical to this former apart from having black hair, shrugged indifferently. "It is what it is. We can't change that, can we Luke?"
Unlike his partner, he didn't smile or showed any emotion for that matter.
Luke glanced at his partner with a wide grin "Maybe if we talk to dad . I mean he is the village chief."
"..."
"You know Luck you've got to put faith in dad sometimes " Luke admonished lightly
Luck snorted in mockery " Like the time he promised us that he would allow to awaken early"
Luke smiled in admission " I hate to admit, but you do make a good point there "
They had waited and fantasised to awaken since they could understand what awakening was .
Two hundred years ago , no one would have thought magic or any of that fantasy related stories were real .
That was until Gaia showed up.
"I am Gaia; the goddess overseeing this world and the representative of the many gods in the multiverse .
This world has reached the apex of what can be achieved through technology alone.
Commencing Realm Fusion "
Silence dominated the air as the world sky turned black, blocking the tiniest sliver of sunlight from reaching the earth.
It was only for a moment though as the both the silence and darkness were broken by the black lightning that flashed through the sky, tearing a hole through the sky.
"It pains me to say that many of you may not survive but evolution was never for the weak!"
Black miasma slowly began to seep through the crack, causing the animals and plants of earth to mutate, growing stronger and aggressive to the point that the common rabbit became a cold blooded killer .
The humans that died during the evolution were given a second chance as part of the undead ranging from a common zombie to a vampire lord, thereby turning their backs against their former race.
To make matters worse, countless monsters and races of different kinds poured out of the crack, eager to make this world their domain.
In less than a week, less ten percent of the human population remained.
Fortunately, the gods provided a means for humans to survive. They also went through this evolution and those that did survive unlocked powers beyond their expectations.
These powers came in the form of classes, allowing humanity to harness the world energies to fight back, eventually winning back a considerable percentage of the earth back.
In the present age, things are far more peacefu.
Races live in peaceful coexistence with only minor wars breaking out.
Technology with the help of magic had greatly advanced to the point that the classes and awakening point of the next generation could be pre-determined by constant measures and practice.
