Chapter 7 - 7. Locked up by the alphas

AT THE SAME TIME

MICHAEL

My claws screeched against the stone floor as they dragged me through the hall, sparks flying from where my paws gouged deep lines into the tiles. I twisted violently, sinking my teeth into Adrian's arm. He hissed, blood welling, but only laughed.

"Spicy little wolf." He purred, licking the wound. "Keep it up."

I kicked, tail lashing, silver fur bristling like fire.

"Let me go!" My voice cracked through my growl, sharp and desperate.

Xavier caught my muzzle with his hand, forcing it shut.

"Gods, you're loud. Do you ever stop snarling?" He tilted his head, smirking. "Nah, don't answer. I like it."

Terrence grunted as I slashed his ribs with my claws, the silver glow burning bright. His patience snapped, a low growl ripping through his chest.

"Enough."He growled.

But I wasn't stopping. My wolf screamed inside me.

"Fight, fight, don't give them a breath"My wolf growled.

I thrashed harder, ramming my shoulder into Zavier's chest. For the first time, he staggered back a step, his grip on my scruff loosening. For one heartbeat, hope sparked. I twisted, paws scrabbling, almost breaking free and then I caught it. A strange heat. Heavy, sweet, intoxicating. Zavier smirked first, rolling his shoulders as his silver eyes glowed.

"You really want to do this the hard way?"Zavier asked.

Adrian caught his grin and bared his teeth, amused.

"I was wondering when we'd get to this part."He asked.

Xavier chuckled darkly, leaning close enough for me to smell his heat, thick and sharp.

"Say goodnight, sunshine."Xavier grinned.

And Terrence, steady as stone, gave a single nod.

"Now."He ordered.

It hit me like a tidal wave. Four alphas, their scents exploding all at once, pheromones crashing into me like fire and honey and smoke. My knees buckled instantly. My head swam, my lungs seized, silver fur damp with sweat as the heat clawed through me. I tried to snarl, to fight, but it came out broken half whine, half growl. My paws wobbled, claws scraping the floor weakly.

"N-no… stop…" My wolf whimpered inside me, tail tucking tight, whining loud in my skull.

Adrian leaned close, his grin sharp.

"What's wrong, little wolf? Can't handle the heat?"He asked.

Xavier inhaled deeply, sighing like he'd been waiting for this.

"Gods, you smell even better when you're drowning in it."Xavier grinned.

Terrence's voice rumbled low, quiet but final.

"Fight's over, Michael. You're done.'Terrence smirked.

Zavier crouched in front of me, his silver eyes locking on mine as the pheromones suffocated every ounce of strength left. He tilted his head, almost gentle, though his smirk never faded.

"Sleep, little wolf. Tomorrow, you'll learn what it means to belong."He said.

I thrashed one last time, claws scraping sparks from the stone, a desperate, defiant howl tearing from my throat before the weight of their scents crushed me down, leaving me gasping, trembling, silver fur flickering dim under the overwhelming haze. My wolf whimpered weakly, and the world tilted. Darkness swallowed me whole.

My body felt like lead. Every muscle heavy, trembling, my silver fur damp with sweat. I tried to twitch a paw, to move, but even that felt like trying to lift stone. My wolf whined weakly inside me, tail twitching in my mind, but the rest of me… limp. I wasn't on the floor anymore. Strong arms held me, jostling slightly with each step. My claws dragged uselessly against the air, wrists still bound, head rolling against a chest that radiated heat and the thick, suffocating weight of alpha scent.

"Still breathing." Adrian muttered above me, his voice hushed but smug. "Told you he'd fold once we pressed hard enough. Silver fur doesn't mean unbreakable."

A low growl answered him, Terrence.

"You went too far. He's not supposed to pass out like this. The saintess will skin us if he doesn't wake."Terrence said.

Xavier's laugh was soft, dark, too close to my ear. I twitched at the sound, wanting to jerk away, but my body refused me.

"Relax. He's stubborn, but omegas always bend. All we have to do is remind him what he is."Xavier said.

My wolf snarled faintly inside me, but I couldn't push it out, couldn't force my throat to make a sound. My claws flexed weakly, scratching against the air, unnoticed. Zavier's voice cut through, calm but commanding, the one they all stilled for.

'He'll fight until he breaks. So we don't let him rest easy. We strip him down. Every defiance punished. Every obedience rewarded. Until he learns there's nowhere to run but us."Zavier said.

My chest tightened, fury sparking in the haze. I tried to kick, to thrash, but only managed a twitch, a muffled whine slipping from my throat. The arms holding me tightened.

"See?" Adrian chuckled low. "Even in his sleep he's feisty. Almost cute.'

"Almost." Xavier echoed, smirking.

Terrence grunted, his tone colder.

"We can't play with him like he's a toy. He's chosen. He carries weight none of us do. Treat him careless, and he'll shatter."Terrence groaned.

"Then we make sure he doesn't shatter." Zavier replied simply.

A door creaked open. Warm air brushed my fur as they carried me into another room. My body sagged into the bedding they dropped me on, soft covers swallowing my aching limbs. I blinked faintly, the world blurring in and out, but couldn't force my eyes to stay open. I felt fingers brush my hair back, a thumb stroking against my cheek almost gently. Zavier's voice followed, soft as a blade's edge.

"Sleep, Michael. Tomorrow… we start teaching you what it means to obey."Zavier whispered.

Darkness pulled me under again, my wolf's growl fading into a whimper. I woke to silence. My head pounded like a drum, my tongue dry, throat raw. Every breath dragged like sandpaper, carrying the faint ghost of their scents, still clinging heavy in my nose. I blinked slowly, vision swimming before the darkness sharpened into shapes.

A bed. Not mine too soft, sheets smelling faintly of cedar and smoke. My wrists itched where the restraints had bitten before, though now they were free. I pushed myself up, slow and shaky, my arms trembling with the effort. My wolf stirred weakly, whining in confusion.

"Where-?"I whispered.

The room was dim, lit only by the pale spill of moonlight through the tall windows. For a heartbeat, hope sparked in my chest. The light looked so close. Freedom. I stumbled out of the bed, my legs buckling beneath me. My claws scraped against the floor as I dragged myself forward, each step clumsy, unsteady, but desperate.

I reached the first window, hands pressing against the cold glass. The moon glared down, silver and endless, so close I thought I could leap into it. Then my eyes caught the heavy metal locks bolted across the frame. Not just one. Three. Thick, iron, immovable. I rattled them weakly. They didn't budge.

"No…" My voice cracked, a rasping whisper. I clawed at the frame, tugged, but my strength failed me. My forehead pressed against the glass, breath fogging the moonlight.

I stumbled back, chest heaving. Another window. I lurched toward it, dragging myself across the room, hope flickering again only to find it barred and locked the same. Every one of them sealed tight, no crack, no weakness. A cage dressed as a room. My knees hit the floor. My claws clicked against the stone, trembling.

"They locked us in." My wolf whimpered inside me.

I swallowed hard, chest burning as my throat tightened. My silver fur bristled faintly, the shimmer dimmer than before. The realization hit, heavy and cold, sinking into my bones. There was no escape. Not tonight. Not through the windows. Not through anything. I staggered back to the bed, curling against the sheets despite myself, every muscle still aching, my wolf low and restless. The locks gleamed in the moonlight, cruel reminders. I wasn't free. I wasn't safe.

I was theirs.
