Chapter 17 - Chapter: 13, The Hyperverse of Israel, 2

Meanwhile, Adamus Noah, Hunter Kiyohime, and their crew found themselves in a massive room. The area was full of space and machinery, and the remains of robots scattered the floor. Guards lay unconscious, their uniforms torn and discarded as evidence of the brutal battle. Adamus wiped his brow and looked around.

"Well, that was easy. Seems like we're close to the top of this base. I'm assuming that's where your daughter is, Noah?"

Noah nodded somberly. "Yes, this is where she's at."

With purpose, they walked toward the massive doors that loomed in front of them. The sound of their footsteps echoed through the vast chamber, a subtle reminder of the weight of what lay ahead. The doors slowly opened with a heavy groan, revealing the final stretch of their journey. They were close than ever. But what awaited them beyond those doors would be a test of everything they had.

The massive doors burst open with a thunderous boom, sending a gust of wind rushing through the already devastated base. Standing before them was a towering humanoid mech twelve stories tall, gleaming gold and red, a monstrous weapon of war. A massive rifle rested on its back, but the moment the crew locked eyes with it, the mech reached for the weapon, pulling it forward in one swift motion and aiming directly at them.

Adamus reacted instantly. Green and gold energy surged from his hands, forming a protective shield around Noah, Hunter, and Kiyohime. The mech fired. A deafening explosion erupted upon impact, the sheer force tearing through the remains of the base. Smoke and fire consumed the area, and for a moment, nothing was visible but destruction.

As the dust settled, Adamus stood firm, his shield flickering before deactivating. Miraculously, everyone within his barrier was unharmed. But the battlefield had changed. No longer was it just a handful of guards and robots now, an entire army stood before them.

Humanoid mechs.

Rows of them lined the horizon, some marching forward like an unstoppable force, while others took to the skies, hovering in place with massive sniper rifles locked onto the crew. The sky itself was a swarm of mechanized war machines, an overwhelming display of technological dominance. Above them, a colossal flying warship loomed, its design sleek yet imposing, radiating power unlike anything they had encountered before.

And atop that ship stood Sherman.

Beside him was Siren, his twisted grin never fading. And standing there, helpless, was Noah's wife and daughter, Ham.

Noah's heart clenched as he saw his daughter dressed in a wedding gown, held firmly by Sherman's grip. The tyrant, dressed in a black suit, sneered as he turned to Noah, locking eyes with him. Then, with smug arrogance, he pressed his lips against Ham's in a mocking kiss before turning back to face Noah with a look of triumph.

"You'll never get your family back," Sherman declared, his voice booming over the battlefield. "If you know what's good for you, you'll take these so-called heroes you hired and leave. This hyperverse is already doomed. It's only a matter of time."

Noah's hands clenched into fists. His voice was unwavering.

"I'm not leaving without my family. And I will complete my mission. The end times may be here, but I will save everyone I can. And you, Sherman... you're a sinner. My Lord will have His day with you."

At that moment, Ham struggled against Sherman's grip, pushing him away with all her strength. Her voice rang out in desperation.

"Dad! Help! Please!"

Something inside Hunter snapped. Her cry wasn't just a plea it awakened something deep within him. Visions flashed before his eyes, memories of his own daughter. Her laughter. Her warmth. The last time he saw her… at her grave. His body trembled as grief surged through him.

Sherman scowled and shoved Ham down, forcing her onto the cold steel floor of the ship. "Be quiet," he snarled. "We'll be married soon. This planet is beneath us."

As the ship began to ascend, Sherman gestured to his army.

"Kill them. Let them rot with this pathetic planet."

The humanoid mechs activated in unison, their weapons locking onto their targets. The sky darkened as they moved into position, preparing for a full-scale assault.

Then, with a wicked grin, Siren took a step forward.

"This is going to be fun," he chuckled.

Without hesitation, he leaped from the warship, landing effortlessly atop one of the massive mechs below. His red eyes gleamed with excitement as he cracked his knuckles.

"Let's see what these so-called 'heroes' can really do."

The battle had only just begun.

The battlefield was alive with tension. The humanoid mechs piloted by Galaktikos stared at the crew with unease. Through their communication devices, their nervous voices crackled with fear.

"This guy looks terrifying..." one alien muttered.

"I shot him with my rifle, and his shield didn't even crack!" another reported in disbelief.

"That green energy... what is that? Is he on fire?"

Meanwhile, Hunter acted without hesitation. He grabbed Noah's arm and spread his wings wide, the powerful appendages catching the air as he launched into flight.

Adamus and Kiyohime watched as Hunter took off, shock flashing across their faces.

"Hunter, what are you doing?!" Adamus called out.

With tears brimming in his eyes, Hunter's voice was firm. "We have to save his daughter. I have to save his daughter. You stay here make sure they don't shoot me down!"

Then, with a powerful flap, Hunter surged forward at incredible speed, Noah clutched tightly in his grasp.

The enemy reacted instantly. From the warship, a barrage of rockets screamed toward them. Hunter twisted and dove, slipping past one then another. A third missile locked onto him and Noah, its warhead primed to detonate until Adamus raised a hand, firing a searing disc of energy. The missile split in half midair, its exploded.

Hunter spared a brief glance back, nodding in appreciation, before surging forward. The warship's humanoid mechs opened fire, their rifles unleashing streaks of plasma. Hunter weaved through the storm of gunfire, a blur of motion, as rounds zipped past him. Below, some of the mechs shifted their fire toward Adamus and Kiyohime, trying to pin them down.

Two mechs, each wielding massive swords, shot toward Hunter, blades poised to cleave him apart. At the last moment, he folded his wings around himself, spinning into a drilling blur. He tore straight through them, metal shrieking as their shattered frames tumbled lifelessly from the sky.

But more mechs appeared in pursuit. Hunter spun, preparing to evade only to witness them erupt into flames as Adamus' energy blasts struck them from below. At his side, Kiyohime swung her sword, the wind howling as the blade extended toward the sky, slicing through multiple mechs in a single sweeping motion.

Their combined efforts created the opening Hunter needed. He surged ahead, his body cutting through the sky like a bullet, until

He reached the warship.

Hunter landed hard on the ship's surface, Noah still in his grasp. Without a moment to waste, they rushed inside, disappearing into the depths of the enemy's stronghold.

Narrator: We now focus on Adamus' battle.

From atop one of the towering mechs, Siren a cold and calculating warrior observed the battle below. His eyes gleamed with intrigue as he watched Adamus tear through their forces.

"Interesting," he murmured. "He is as strong as I imagined."

With eerie grace, Siren leapt from the mech, plummeting toward the battlefield. He landed right next to Adamus and Kiyohime, the impact sending cracks through the ground beneath his feet.

His gaze met Adamus.

A slow, confident smile crept across his face.

Siren landed with effortless grace, his piercing gaze fixed on Adamus. He raised a hand, commanding all the humanoid mechs to hold their fire. The battlefield fell silent.

"Halt," he ordered.

The mechs obeyed without question.

Siren smirked as he addressed Adamus. "Vajra. That's your superhero name, correct?"

Adamus narrowed his eyes. "Correct. What's this? You changing your mind? Don't want to fight anymore?

Beside him, Kiyohime kept her sword raised, the tip aimed directly at Siren's throat. "He's already given up. Look at him scrawny. He's a coward."

Siren laughed, the sound low and mocking. "Looks can be deceiving. I'm a B-ranked superhero. And what are you? A filthy samurai?"

Kiyohime's grip on her sword tightened. "I know I promised you I wouldn't kill anymore, Adamus, but this guy deserves it."

Siren grinned. "Kill me? The King of Mermaids? Impossible. I would drown you where you stand."

Kiyohime smirked. "Samurai eat mermaids for dinner. They're quite delicious."

Siren's expression darkened, his eyes flaring with rage.

The ground trembled as water burst forth, erupting from beneath them and drowning the battlefield in a sudden flood. Within moments, the terrain was gone, swallowed by a vast and churning sea.

Adamus and Kiyohime leapt clear of the surge, landing lightly upon the new surface. The flood spread endlessly around them, yet they stood unshaken, their energy carrying them upon the water as though it were solid ground.

Siren's lips curled into a smirk. "I see... Just like me, you two can walk on water. Maybe this will be interesting after all." His gaze locked onto Adamus. "But I want a one-on-one with you, Vajra."

Adamus sighed, side-eyeing Kiyohime. "Why did you have to make him mad?"

Kiyohime didn't answer him directly. Instead, she turned back to Siren with a wicked grin. "Samurai don't fight fair. Two versus one."

Siren let out a sharp breath, then scoffed. "Fine. Have it your way." He raised a hand, issuing a new command.

"Go after the ship."

The humanoid mechs immediately shifted their focus, their rockets igniting as they took to the skies, heading straight for the warship where Hunter and Noah were inside.

Adamus clenched his fists. "Kiyohime, stop them. Hunter and Noah are in there!"

Kiyohime clicked her tongue. "Fine. Just don't die.". She kicked off the water, launching herself into the sky at incredible speed.

Her blade flashed, slicing through the air. She landed on a mech mid-flight, stabbing her sword through its metal spine. With a swift motion, she ripped through its core and kicked off just as it exploded.

She summoned a massive snake, which lunged forward, coiling around another mech and crushing it. Jumping from enemy to enemy, Kiyohime continued her ruthless assault.

Back on the ground, Adamus and Siren stood face to face, their reflections rippling in the water beneath them.

Adamus shifted into his fighting stance.

Siren did the same.

The battle was about to begin.

Siren smirked, his gaze locked onto Adamus. "So tell me, why do you want to be a hero? Do you have the same ambitions as me?"

Adamus remained in his fighting stance, unwavering. "My dream is to be a hero that saves everyone. I want to be the number one hero in the world."

Siren laughed, his voice laced with mockery. "The number one hero? Impossible. I used to have that dream too... but then I realized it was impossible to achieve."

Adamus clenched his fists. "Nothing's impossible. That's what my mom always told me."

Siren scoffed. "You're really naïve, kid. You know who the number one hero is Superior Man. No one can defeat him. That's why I gave up on my dream. How can you surpass someone who is already superior?"

Adamus smirked. "Simple. With hard work."

Siren's expression darkened. "Hard work isn't enough. That's why I left our Hyperverse to come to this one. A second chance. Here, I can be the number one hero. And someone like you isn't going to stop me."

With a flick of his wrist, sharp blades of water shot from his hands and the flooded battlefield beneath them. The sheer force of the water blades sliced toward Adamus, tearing through the air at blinding speed.

Adamus' golden eyes gleamed, his body surrounded by green flames. He dodged swiftly, but one of the water blades grazed his cheek, drawing a thin line of blood.

As he twisted mid-air to evade the onslaught, he caught sight of the mountains in the distance being sliced apart. The deadly slashes weren't just cutting through stone they were reaching all the way into space.

His mind raced. "Those things are powerful. If I get hit, it's over."

Summoning his life energy, Adamus extended his hands forward, manifesting glowing tendrils that shot toward Siren, wrapping around his arms like ropes. Siren's movement stopped, and the water blades ceased mid-air.

Adamus landed lightly on the water's surface, tightening his hold. "Got you."

But Siren simply smirked. "No, I got you."

Adamus' eyes widened. "Who?"

Before he could react, a massive alien-like shark emerged from the depths below, its massive jaws clamping down on his legs before dragging him into the dark abyss.

SPLASH!

Adamus struggled against the force dragging him deeper. With a snarl, he clenched his fist and drove a devastating punch into the shark's snout. The creature recoiled, knocked out instantly but it was too late.

From the depths, more creatures emerged. Massive sawshark-like beasts, their bodies glowing with blue and red energy, surged toward him. Their sword-like noses slashed through the water, striking Adamus from every direction. He blocked, twisting and maneuvering, but the relentless assault forced him back.

I don't want to hurt them… he thought.

Golden life strings unraveled from his body, twisting like tentacles through the water. They lashed out, coiling around the glowing sharks, squeezing and siphoning their energy. One by one, the creatures grew weak, their bodies going limp as they drifted downward into the abyss.

Adamus exhaled and turned to swim back up then he froze.

Something was wrong.

His body wasn't moving. He was floating, weightless, suspended in a shimmering sphere of water. He tried to push forward, but an invisible force held him still.

"I… I can't move…!"

Above the surface, Siren raised both hands, his fingers twisting like a puppeteer's. His voice echoed across the battlefield.

"That's why I used that creature to drag you under so I could trap you in my Water Prison."

A gleaming trident materialized in Siren's grasp. He spun it once, the water rippling with power, before hurling it straight at Adamus.

"Die!"

Adamus gritted his teeth, his muscles straining against the magical force.

"This isn't regular water… it's magic!"

Summoning every ounce of strength, he burst out of the bubble, shattering it into a million droplets just as the trident reached him.

With a swift movement, Adamus caught the trident in his mouth, clamping down on the weapon before gripping it with his hands. He smirked.

"That's all you got?"

Without hesitation, he hurled the trident back at Siren.

Siren's eyes flared with rage as he snatched his weapon mid-air.

"You dare mock me?!"

The ocean trembled. The waters around him exploded upward, twisting into a massive tornado. Rising with it, Siren hovered above the battlefield, his form framed by the raging storm. Power surged through him, crackling in the spiraling waves.

The sea itself answered his fury.

The waters erupted around Siren, spiraling into a massive vortex that lifted him skyward. Suspended above the storm, he hovered, his power surging as waves crashed and swirled beneath his feet. The very planet seemed to tremble as water seeped from the soil, rising unnaturally.

Adamus tensed, watching Siren with narrowed eyes. Why is the entire planet flooding? he wondered. What should be my next move? Close combat? I don't think he has good hands…

But his thoughts were interrupted by distant screams.

His Tenshi no Me eyes flared gold, piercing through the chaotic scene. People were drowning children, animals, entire families engulfed by water that materialized out of nowhere.

Adamus snapped his gaze back to Siren. "Are you the one doing this? You're flooding everything! People are drowning! Just fight me you don't have to drown the world!"

Siren remained airborne, the water swirling protectively around him. His glowing blue eyes locked onto Adamus as he raised his trident. A sphere of water energy formed at its tip before launching toward Adamus with devastating force.

Adamus reacted instantly, vanishing with a burst of superspeed. The attack struck the water below, erupting into a violent explosion. He landed firmly, feet skidding slightly across the drenched water.

Siren let out a piercing scream, his voice shaking the Earth itself. "I will show you why I am the number one hero now! I will show you the fear I felt that day! The day I met Superior Man! You will feel my wrath!"

With a thrust of his trident, he fired a concentrated beam of water energy.

Adamus became a blur, weaving through the chaos as destruction rained around him. The cries of the drowning filled his ears, but he didn't hesitate he couldn't hesitate.

In an instant, he sprinted across the raging waters, his feet barely touching the surface before he vanished again, appearing miles away. Towering waves crashed all around him, spiraling into vortexes as Siren's storm swallowed entire cities. Buildings crumbled beneath the weight of the flood, streets turned into rivers, and desperate hands reached for salvation.

He extended his Gold Life Strings, five at a time, snatching people from the merciless currents. In another instant, he was gone, reappearing on a distant mountaintop, where he gently set them down before vanishing again. Across continents he moved rescuing a mother and child from a collapsing bridge, pulling a drowning elder from the depths, catching a child just as a tidal wave threatened to consume them.

Siren unleashed a relentless barrage, his blue lasers cutting through the storm, chasing Adamus across the planet. But Adamus was faster. He ducked, twisted, and blurred past the deadly blasts, all while carrying dozens hundreds out of harm's way. Each time he reached for another life, his emerald energy enveloped them, shielding them from the devastation as he whisked them to safety.

The sea raged beneath him, shifting and twisting with each step, yet he ran undeterred skimming across the surface as if the ocean itself bent to his will. Water exploded in his wake, parting under the sheer force of his speed. He leapt between surging waves as if they were mere stepping stones, defying the very storm that sought to consume the world.

But in that moment of selflessness just as he reached for one more he left himself open.

A brilliant blue laser ripped through the chaos, slamming into his chest.

A shockwave erupted as Adamus was sent crashing into the water. The impact detonated in an explosion of steam and force, the battlefield quaking beneath the might of their battle.

Siren hovered above the flooded world, water swirling around him like a living force. He gazed at the vast ocean stretching endlessly below, his eyes gleaming with victory.

"Vajra... is it even strong enough to defeat me!" he muttered. "He's not getting up from that blast. I'm the number one hero. I'm superior."

He turned away, convinced the battle was over.

But then

A deep, resonating sound shook the air behind him. Siren spun around, his eyes widening.

Adamus was rising.

Green flames roared around him, his energy so intense that the ocean itself churned into a spiraling vortex beneath him. Though his feet touched the ocean floor, the water refused to engulf him, spinning violently in defiance.

"Impossible," Siren whispered. "That blast... I put enough energy into it to destroy multiple planets! I controlled it so it wouldn't obliterate this one. How did you survive?"

Adamus pressed a hand to his chest, his golden Tenshi no Me burning with unyielding resolve. "Because I don't give up."

He leveled a finger at Siren.

"You call yourself the number one hero? That means my dream of being number one is about to come true because I'm taking you down."

In a split second, Adamus shot into the sky.

Siren barely had time to react before BAM!

A crushing blow smashed into his face. The sheer force sent him careening across the planet, his body slicing through clouds before he crashed into the opposite side of the planet.

Floating in the sky, Siren wiped the blood from his mouth, his mind reeling. What... what was that?

Then

A fiery streak blazed through the atmosphere, descending like a meteor.

It was Adamus.

His body burned with power as he came hurtling down, one leg stretched out in a devastating sidekick.

"METEOR SLAM!"

His foot connected squarely with Siren's stomach.

The impact detonated like a bomb, sending Siren plummeting toward the ocean below. He struck the surface with an earth-shattering crash, sending tidal waves rippling in all directions.

On the opposite side, Adamus landed smoothly, standing firm.

"You giving up now?" he asked, shaking his hands loose. "I didn't mean to hit you that hard."

Siren staggered to his feet, blood dripping from his lips. His rage burned hotter than his wounds.

The water around them began to churn violently, rising into towering waves as he extended his arms. Liquid energy coiled around them, morphing into massive, glowing shark-like fists made of water and lightning.

With a furious roar, he hurled a punch from afar

A torrent of water and crackling electricity exploded toward Adamus.

Adamus dodged, weaving past the attack

But Siren was already there.

In a blur, he appeared in front of Adamus, his fist driving into his gut with titanic force.

BOOM!

A massive explosion erupted as Adamus was launched backward, his body ripping through the water before he skidded to a halt.

Gritting his teeth, he dropped into his fighting stance.

Siren smirked. "Round two."

They lunged at each other.

Fists clashed. Kicks struck. Each impact sent shockwaves through the air, the ocean trembling beneath them.

Adamus weaved through Siren's attacks, countering with devastating blows to his stomach and legs.

Uppercut.

Leg sweep.

A surge of Life Strings wrapped around Siren, yanking him forward.

Like a yo-yo, Adamus pummeled him midair strike after strike before hurling him downward, sending him crashing into the sea.

But Adamus wasn't done.

Adamus took a deep breath, his eyes locking onto Siren as he clenched his fists. Then, in an instant, he was gone.

The ground shattered beneath his feet as he launched forward, tearing across the flooded world. He was nothing but a streak of green light, moving faster than the eye could comprehend. One moment, he was racing past towering pyramids, their ancient stones drenched beneath the rising tides. The next, he was cutting through vast forests where the trees bent and snapped in his wake. He streaked across sunlit valleys, then through cities swallowed by the flood, his speed so immense that day turned to night and back again within seconds.

The ocean itself split apart as he ran, water surging to either side in walls that reached for the sky. His footsteps sent shockwaves rippling across the surface, creating tremors that echoed deep beneath the sea. As he moved, the air cracked like thunder, his presence a force of nature itself.

Adamus had run the breadth of the entire planet, gathering momentum beyond comprehension.

By the time he reappeared, Siren had scarcely drawn breath. A green comet crashed down before him Adamus himself, all the fury and force of a world-spanning run condensed into a single, unstoppable strike.

The punch landed.

A cataclysmic explosion erupted the instant his fist connected, splitting the sky and sending an earth-shaking shockwave across the entire planet. The very ocean recoiled, parting into massive trenches as the sheer force of the impact sent water shooting miles into the air, blotting out the sun. The world trembled, and for an instant, silence reigned before a deafening roar followed the sound of power beyond comprehension.

Siren's body rocketed across the sky like a meteor, the sheer velocity ripping through the storm clouds and sending him hurtling toward a distant island. He crashed into the earth with the force of a falling star, carving out a massive crater that sent shockwaves across the flooded terrain.

As the dust settled, Adamus descended slowly, his steps light against the broken ground. He looked down at Siren, whose battered form lay motionless, his breath ragged.

"Are you done?" Adamus asked, his voice steady but firm. "I wasn't even trying to fight. But I'd appreciate it if you chilled with the water and stopped flooding this planet."

Siren slowly pushed himself up, blood dripping from his mouth as he glared at Adamus. "You naive child," he sneered. "You talk to me as if I'm your friend, as if you can give me orders. You think I care about these people? I'm a hero to be number one. I became a hero to be the strongest. That's what Superior Man taught me."

Adamus frowned. "You became a hero just to be the strongest? You should've just become a fighter then."

Siren scoffed. "Where's the fame in that? Being a hero comes with everything glory, money, status. Don't act dumb, kid. You're from the same country as me, The Grid. You know what being a hero means there. You become an elite citizen. You get everything fame, power, women."

Adamus clenched his fists. "I want to be a hero to save people. And in the process, I know I'll become the strongest. When I finally leave this Hyperverse and get back home, maybe I can change the superhero system. Because if heroes act anything like you, then I don't want to be one."

Siren chuckled, shaking his head. "Change the superhero organization? In The Grid?" He burst into laughter. "Don't make me laugh. The number one hero, Superior Man, would tear you apart."

Adamus grinned and raised a thumbs-up. "I'm a man of my word," he said confidently. "I'll be the number one hero. And I will save everyone."

Siren's laughter faded as he stared at Adamus, rage boiling inside him. That smile it mocked him. Adamus didn't respect his power. He didn't fear him. He clenched his fists, his fury overflowing.

"You naive fool," Siren growled. "That smile of yours… you don't take me seriously, do you? You think I'm a joke?"

Water surged around him as he slowly ascended into the air. The sky darkened, thick storm clouds swirling overhead. Lightning crackled as the flooded world below churned violently, forming massive tornadoes of water. Siren's glowing blue eyes locked onto Adamus.

"My power isn't just controlling water and sea creatures," Siren declared. "That shark that bit you earlier you probably thought it was some alien beast. No. I evolved it to its ultimate form. That's my true ability. I can force any creature to evolve beyond its limits."

Adamus' eyes narrowed as the ocean itself seemed to rise with Siren's power. All around them, sea creatures began floating into the sky, their bodies glowing with an eerie blue light. One by one, they fused with Siren, his form twisting and mutating, growing larger, more monstrous more godlike.

Adamus took a step back, watching in disbelief. His stomach churned as he muttered, "What the hell is going on…?"

As the transformation reached its apex, Adamus gazed upon the monstrous creature that emerged. Its upper body was that of a Siren, still humanoid, yet with a menacing twist its weapon, an ancient trident, now pulsated with power. The lower half was a grotesque fusion of dragon-like scales, a lizard's muscular form, and the deadly finned tail of a shark. Half its body was submerged beneath the waves, but even so, its monstrous tail swayed ominously above the water's surface, a reminder of the terror it could unleash.

From a distance, Adamus could make out the flying vessel of his comrades a massive, celestial ship carrying Noah, Kiyohime, Hunter, and Noah family. As they hovered in the sky above, their frantic voices reached him, shouts carried on the wind: "Hurry! The planet is about to be destroyed!"

Adamus clenched his fists, determination burning in his eyes. "The planet is on the brink of annihilation," he muttered to himself, eyes narrowing as he looked toward the sky. The horizon was split open by a wave of black energy, crackling with specks of white like dying stars the Energy of End Times. The wave surged toward them, erasing all that lay in its path.

His mind surged with purpose as Adamus planted his feet firmly on the ground, resolve burning in his eyes.

"You're standing in my way. I'm saving these people and this fight ends here."

The air around him thickened as he began to focus his energy, his hand crackling with power. A brilliant ball of light formed in his palm as he began to chant, each syllable resonating with raw energy:

"Om..."

The first syllable echoed with the weight of ages, a force of nature gathering around him.

"Mani..."

Green flames licked at his skin, the energy intensifying, the winds howling with his power.

"Padme..."

The ground trembled beneath him, as the energy surged from his body, forming into a radiant sphere of destruction. His words rang out, now amplified by the fury of his will:

"HUM!!!"

With that final cry, Adamus released the blast, a torrent of raw energy colliding with the beam of energy shot from Siren's trident. The impact shook the sky themselves, but Adamus' power was overwhelming. His blast tore through Siren's attack, shattering the beam like glass and crashing into the monstrous creature's chest.

Siren fought to block the blow with outstretched hands, but Adamus' power was too great. With a violent thrust of his foot into the earth, Adamus amplified the attack. The energy roared through Siren, sending the creature spiraling into the sky, its form vanishing in a burst of light, disappearing as if it were a star burning out in the cosmos.

Breathing heavily, Adamus stood tall, his hands trembling from the raw power he had unleashed. "Wow..." he murmured to himself in awe. But there was no time for rest.

From the sky above, his friends' voices pierced the tension. "Come on! We need to leave, NOW!"

Without hesitation, Adamus sprang into action, leaping toward the flying vessel. As he landed, he turned to his companions. "What happened to the general?"

Everyone glanced at Hunter, whose silent figure stood at the rear, blood on his hands. His eyes betrayed nothing. Adamus nodded grimly, his voice firm but approving. "Good. You handled it."

Turning his attention to Noah, Adamus continued, his eyes scanning the sky. "Your job is to save everyone. Can they all fit in this ship?"

Noah's voice rang out, calm and resolute. "Yes. I was instructed by my Lord to bring no less than two of every species. This is what he commanded."

Adamus' gaze hardened. "Not less than two. Good. I'll be right back."

With that, Adamus surged from the ship, his speed a blur as he reached the ground. He moved like a tempest, his green energy wrapping around every person and creature he encountered. With each leap and bound, he gathered every citizen, human and animal alike, and plants using his green flame to shield them from harm. Each time he landed, he passed them to the safety of the ship above, never slowing down, never faltering.

"One more…" Adamus muttered, his golden eyes narrowing. Something was wrong.

From the distance, a crimson glow cut through the sky, an eerie pulse rippling outward. A floating eye emerged massive, the size of a human, wreathed in shifting energy. Its gaze burned with an unnatural light, its very presence exuding a quiet, insidious dread.

Then, it spoke.

A voice, deep and humming with an otherworldly resonance, filled the air. "Master Lucifer, have you witnessed the battle?"

Beyond the veil of shadows, where mortal eyes couldn't perceive, sat a figure upon a golden throne. He was barely visible, wreathed in darkness, yet the sheer power radiating from his presence was undeniable. A voice, smooth as silk but cold as the void, responded.

"Yes, I saw it. That man Noah is one of the Prophets. God, Yahwe has sent him to save this world."

The red eye flickered, its form twisting reacting to unseen forces. "What must I do, Master?"

Lucifer's voice came again, quiet yet commanding.

"Follow them. Watch them. That kid interests me his power. My power to control the narrative doesn't affect him. And it seems those around him slip beyond my reach as well, shielded by what he carries. I need you to follow them. Watch them."

Without hesitation, the eye began to shift, its glow distorting, twisting until suddenly, it became something else.

A woman.

She plummeted from the sky, her cries of terror piercing through the air, her body flailing as if drowning in the waves below. Her golden hair whipped wildly in the wind, strands catching the dim light, while her brown eyes deep, desperate pleaded for salvation.

Adamus moved before thought could reach him. His muscles tensed, and in a single burst, he launched forward, feet barely touching the ground as he carved through the space between them. Wind howled past him. His arms wrapped around the woman's body just as the sea threatened to consume her, his strength unyielding as he pulled her into his grasp.

His feet slammed onto the deck of the ship, the weight of the rescue surging through his limbs. He turned to the others, his breath steady, his eyes sharp.

"I've got everyone!" he called, his voice unwavering. "We leave now!"

As the flying ship ascended into the skies, leaving the dying world below, Adamus looked out toward the horizon, knowing the battle was far from over.

Inside, the sheer scale of the vessel was staggering an endless expanse that could comfortably house the 7.2 billion people they had just rescued. Crowds of stunned citizens filled the ship, their voices a mix of confusion, disbelief, and fear. Some murmured in disbelief, unsure of what was happening.

"My farm's flooded… What's going on?" one person asked.

Another gazed out the window, eyes wide with horror. "Oh my god… the Earth isn't flat."

One woman, her voice trembling, looked out toward the stars. "Are we in space?"

The boat began to shake, a deep rumble echoing through its vast interior. Hunter, Adamus, and Kiyohime rushed toward the top of the vessel, where Noah stood at the helm, his eyes fixed on the infinite void ahead.

Adamus, puzzled, looked up at the sky. "How are we breathing and talking in space?" he asked.

Noah turned to him, a calm but serious expression on his face. "There's a magical shield surrounding the boat a forcefield created by my Lord. It protects us from the vacuum of space and ensures we can breathe and speak."

Adamus turned his gaze back to the planet they had just saved. His heart sank as he watched the massive wave of black energy, crackling with white sparks, slowly creep toward the world below. The energy's touch seemed to melt everything it encountered. The planet, once teeming with life, began to vanish under its destructive force, its surface eroding away like sand in a storm.

Adamus turned back to Noah, his voice heavy with the weight of what he had seen. "Is this what you meant by the end of the world?"

Noah nodded, his face grim. "Yes. My Lord believes that the world has become too corrupt, too sinful, and that it must be destroyed to make way for a new beginning. The energy you see is complete annihilation, the Energy of End Times. It will consume this universe, slowly but surely. We cannot touch it. Even I, the one who holds the key to the center of the Hyperverse, will be erased when the energy reaches me. This destruction will pave the way for a new world, a new order."

Kiyohime's gaze sharpened, her resolve unyielding. "So, where do we go next? The center of the Hyperverse? Is that the only way out?"

Noah's eyes flickered with uncertainty. "No, we must stop at every planet that still holds life. We must gather two of every creature, just as my Lord commanded. We cannot leave anyone behind."

Kiyohime, who had been silent until now, spoke up, his tone defiant. "That wasn't the plan. We were supposed to help you get off that planet, save these people, and then move on to the center of the universe. We don't have time for these detours. We're at a deadlock."

Noah's voice remained calm, yet firm. "Without me, you have no way of reaching the center. I know where it is. My Lord has printed the map onto my very soul. It's not something I need to consult. And most importantly, we need to pick up the most crucial person.

Kiyohime's eyes flashed with suspicion, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword. "I knew it. I knew we couldn't trust this old fool. He's been using us as bodyguards, all for the sake of rescuing his family."

Her voice was venomous as she stepped toward Noah, the aura of menace radiating from her. "Tell us where the center of the Hyperverse is, or I'll force it out of you."

Adamus stepped forward, his hand on Kiyohime's shoulder, halting her advance. "Calm down. We're taking a few trips, then we'll be back home. Okay?"

Kiyohime hesitated for a moment before she gave a reluctant nod. "Fine. But this better be worth it." She turned and stalked off toward the lower section of the boat.

Hunter, who had been quietly staring out at the destruction unfolding below, seemed distant haunted. Adamus approached him cautiously. "Are you okay?" he asked, sensing something was off. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

Hunter turned to face him, his expression unreadable. "I'm fine," he replied, though his eyes betrayed a deep sadness. He turned and headed toward the lower levels of the boat without another word.

Adamus, feeling the weight of the moment, made his way down to the lower levels, where the masses of rescued citizens gathered. The vast expanse of the ship infinite, and the citizens' voices echoed off the walls, full of panic and disbelief.

"Are you ready to head to the center of the Hyperverse?" Adamus asked, his voice carrying a sense of resolve.

The response was less than encouraging. "No, we want to go home," one citizen cried, fear evident in their voice. "Is our planet really gone? Are we the last ones?"

"I can't believe I'm in space," another muttered, eyes wide in wonder and terror.

Some whispered among themselves, trying to grasp the enormity of the situation. "Is this God… the one Noah's been talking about for the last couple of years? Is He real?"

"We're going to be judged, aren't we?" someone else asked, their voice trembling.

The tension in the air was palpable as the passengers of the boat began to panic. Fear spread like wildfire through the crowd as they realized the gravity of their situation the end of their world, the uncertain future ahead. The Hyperverse itself seemed to be unraveling before their very eyes.
