The evening air was cool against Felix's skin as he tugged gently at Jianyu's hand, leading him toward the garden. "Come on," he murmured, a soft smile on his lips. "The pond looks beautiful tonight. You have to see it."
Jianyu followed, silent but attentive, a faint curve of amusement in his eyes. "Fine. But don't expect me to ooh and aah like a tourist."
Felix laughed softly, letting go to point at the way the moonlight shimmered on the water. "No need. Just… enjoy it. That's enough."
As they stepped onto the garden path, a faint rustle drew Felix's attention.
Victor stood a few paces behind, hands casually in his pockets, a glint of amusement in his eyes.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" Victor called out, his voice playful. "A quiet stroll? How… domestic."
Jianyu stiffened immediately, eyes narrowing. "Victor," he said flatly. "What are you doing here?"
Victor tilted his head, grin widening. "I could ask the same of you, Mr. Stoic. But it's… cute. You two."
