[Bloodline: Wood Style]

[Chakra Volume: Slightly above Genin level]

After reviewing his current character panel, Yuichi couldn't help but curl his lips into a faint smile, his white teeth glinting.

"As expected… I really awakened a Wood Style physique."

Up until now, Yuichi's biggest weakness had been close-quarters combat. If an enemy broke through his barrage of ninjutsu, he had no choice but to stop fighting.

But with the Wood Style physique, things were different.

His recovery ability was absurd. With Yuichi's nearly limitless chakra reserves, the only way he might die would be if his head was cut clean off.

"I've mastered Wood Style… and now I've unlocked Earth as an additional chakra attribute. That means I can also learn Earth Style ninjutsu."

He paused, frowning slightly.

"But still… only three Wood Style techniques? Isn't that a little stingy?"

[Host inherits the abilities of Hashirama Senju. Initial Wood Style techniques must be cultivated. Once their proficiency reaches Intermediate, additional Wood Style techniques will unlock. By continuously practicing, Host will eventually access all of Hashirama's Wood Style jutsu.]

[Ability Inheritance Progress: 0% (Stage 1). The higher the number of Wood Style techniques mastered and the greater their level, the faster inheritance progresses.]

[Warning: The Host must complete Stage 1 of Ability Inheritance within one year. If progress does not reach 100% by the deadline, Wood Style abilities will disappear permanently.]

[Ninjutsu strength depends on hard work. Host is advised not to slack off.]

After reading through the explanation, Yuichi nodded.

It was fine.

Even if he wanted to learn Wood Style techniques by himself, there was nowhere to get them.

Ask the Third Hokage for the Wood Style scroll? That would be suicide.

They'd dissect him before giving him lessons.

"Still… even though I'm satisfied with the new techniques, it's also kind of a headache. Just how long will it take to max them all out?"

With his current speed, Yuichi could only perfect three or four jutsu per day. That was already fast—

but with dozens of jutsu waiting, it wasn't nearly enough.

And that was just Water and Wood. Add Earth Style into the mix…

"At this rate, I'll be grinding until the Year of the Monkey."

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"No… I need Shadow Clone Jutsu."

With Shadow Clones and his Wood Style physique, he could fully abuse his "infinite chakra."

Unlimited practice. Unlimited progress.

Now, the only problem was: how to obtain it?

When he met Sasuke earlier, the system rewarded him with Sasuke's Fire Style ninjutsu.

If he made contact with Naruto, there was a chance to obtain Naruto's Shadow Clone Jutsu as a reward.

But today was out of the question.

Naruto was currently being tricked by Mizuki into stealing the Scroll of Seals. Yuichi had no intention of getting involved with that mess.

"Wood Style doesn't need to be exposed right away. For now, I'll just focus on raising my Water Style proficiency."

The inheritance could wait. He had a full year, after all.

Even without Shadow Clones, Yuichi was confident he could grind Wood Style to perfection.

He glanced at his current jutsu list and began ranking priorities.

"Water Style comes first. Once I reach Intermediate, I'll be able to cast them even without a water source."

That meant his Great Waterfall Technique would no longer be restricted to rivers or lakes—though it would naturally be weaker in dry terrain.

But for Yuichi, that wasn't a problem.

Cast a few times, and he'd create enough water himself to fuel the next round.

With that thought, Yuichi leapt onto the top of the Hashirama statue, gazing down at the waterhole below. The giant waterfall between the two Hokage monuments roared endlessly.

The perfect training ground.

He bent his knees, pushed off the stone, and launched into the air.

Spreading his arms wide—

A leap of faith.

Yuichi spun a full three-hundred and sixty degrees before landing squarely on the surface of the pool. Chakra flared at his soles, attempting to hold him above the water.

It lasted for exactly one step.

Splash!

He sank straight down.

Resurfacing a moment later, Yuichi spat out water, exasperated.

"Tch… so I'll need time to master tree-walking and water-walking too."

Dragging himself to shore, he shook off the water and refocused.

No matter. Today's goal was simple.

Water Barrier and Water Turbulence—both needed to be pushed to Intermediate.

Their hand seals weren't complicated. Three hours would be enough.

After that, he'd return to grinding the Great Waterfall Technique.

He still had five hours until sunset.

If he could push Waterfall Technique to Advanced by then, his power would leap forward. Faster seals, greater output, and the ability to summon massive torrents within seconds.

The excess water could even be repurposed to boost his other Water Style techniques.

Intermediate was enough for now—

but Advanced would make him unstoppable.
