Adrian looked blankly as he is dressed in all kinds of outfits. He wanted to refuse but the pay is very generous so he agreed. Who would have thought he will be deceived like this? She said only few dresses. But then she added many more and there are even girls clothes.
Worse, everyone there are urging him to wear the clothes. He now understood why this Madam Malkin offered so many galleons for him. But he simply refused it. It's very embarrassing. Some wands even exploded in his hands. after many testing many wands, Ollivander put on a guilt look and said," young wizard there isn't a wand suitable for you in my shop. This is the first time this happened in Ollivander's shop history. It looks like we need to make a custom wand for you. Let's first test the wood types ".
He brought many palm sized wooden blocks and gave them to Adrian one by one. Some exploded directly while some caught on fire and some froze into icicles. Only Ebony and Elder wood stayed. Ollivander took them both and said," it seems a combination wand is in need. Now let's go to cores. My father saved some rare types. I'll take them out ".
He took out many types of bizzare things sealed in glass boxes with strange magic runes. He handed one by one to him. Only two reacted to him, obviously it's the Unicorn's hair and moon deer's tail hair. Ollivander nodded and said," the wand will be made in two days. You can give me the address to either send this to you or collect it in two days ".
Hermione looked at her own wand and sighed. Ollivander charged 20 galleons to Adrian for the wand. It's normal since the moon deer tail core is very rare since their species simply went extinct, only Newt Scammander has the last couple of their species with him. He said he found them in Greek lands after several months of search.
Even Ollivander sighed as this is the only moon deer tail hair he had. He needs to write to Newt about sending him another hair just in case another situation like this arises.
As the eveeyone bid farewell. Grangers offered to take Adrian back with them. They dropped him in the orphanage. On the way, Mrs Granger asked him several times to stay with them until the start of school. But Adrian didn't agree.
